Divisional Play

To make things more interesting, I decided to take a vote on whether or not you all would consider a move to divisional play.

I am voting 'NO' because I think it is too soon. I have no problem doing it down the road, especially if there are guys interested in jumping in and a couple teams are added to the league in, say, 8-10 seasons. I would guess that would be something to vote on down the road as well.....

I agreed with the above. But wanted to make sure the way it was now wasn't wearing people down. And yeah, we'll vote on expansion once we get people actually clamoring to get in.

I vote no as well. I agree that I would much rather have this happen when we need/want to expand the league.

I agree with the above, although I am now wondering if we made a mistake going with division champs for playoffs only. Reason being, DC built up a terrific pitching staff in St. Louis and they're all young (like the whole league), and pitching seems to win in this league (see the RL ERA rankings if you're curious). So we could be looking at St. Louis above us for some time unless we get lucky and those pitchers ask for an arm and a leg for extensions.

Maybe I should go read the 1965 Season Thread.

ha ha thanks for the laugh chief

I went with keeping it the way it is now. I dont think there is enough teams to change yet.
