Blown Away
Officials in Fort Lauderdale had warned folks about the high winds and rough surf. But 26 year old Kevin Kearney apparently had thrill seeking on his mind. A TV crew from WFOR TV caught it all on tape.
A wind gust from Tropical Storm Fay took Kearney who was kite surfing for a harrowing ride. Kearney who airborne when the wind hit him slamming him into the beach. Then another gust lifted him in the air and blew him across the street where he hit a building. Kearney is listed in critical condition at Broward General but friends told the station they believe he will make a full recovery. I wonder exactly at what point you realize that this wasn't such a great idea.

That looks like it belongs in a commercial, complete with "do not attempt" mousetype.

It's a shame the video wasn't a little better.
