"Real" or custom universe?

I would assume most people would be leaning towards a custom universe, but was just wanting to gauge the interest either way. I'll really don't have any sort of preference either way.

I'd lean heavily toward game-generated fictional

I'm with Skydog. I think people could choose their nicknames, and we can fight over which NFL cities we each start in. With the leveled economic playing field, I'd rather not muck with trying to move franchises and stuff.

I'd be for fictional players as well. As for locations, I'm reserving my opinion until how see how the game handles it.

I have never been in a game-generated fictional league from the start and would like to try that but either way is fine for me.

I would highly prefer fictional, but I'll still participate in the league if we choose to go with the default set.

Highly prefer fictional. I don't think I would be very interested in a league based on real rosters/franchises.

Sounds like it is safe to say that it is extremely likely that we'll go with fictional, which is what I would strongly prefer, too.

I voted real since I have a slight preference that way, but it wasn't a very strong preference and either way is good with me.

No preference on fictional or non-fictional. I'm much more concerned about having people get an equal playing field. (Edit: like stadiums, and drafting or not.)

I would actually consider not doing it if it's real players, but it doesn't sound like that is likely.

Both are ok for me, but lately my preference for fictional leagues is growing a lot.

From what I've seen of the WAFL league the "level economic field" option gives everyone the same sort of stadium. (with a couple of exceptions).

I'd assume this works the same way in MP and SP. I just started up a SP career with level playing field, and everyone has a 70,000-seat Outdoor/Natural Grass stadium, with VG ratings across the board, built in 1989. Every city starts with the same Pop/Growth/Avg Income/Poverty Level. The only difference I see is ticket prices.

Exactly how it has been set in the WAFL.

I've never been in a league of any nature from the start. Definitely prefer fictional, as I have never been in an all-fictional league.

Bump for highlighting to new folks. Using fictional players has already been clinched.
