well I said earlier I had given up searching for Lent, but I couldn't resist when I saw all those cabinets? And how I said I was feeling pretty good with all my protective spells and weapons? The DM likes to teach people like me who make such stupid comments a painful lesson.

I was attacked by one of the cabinets I was searching, yes a cabinet. It was mindless so there went the Sleep spell and the fear effect from my Stilletto "Despair" But thank the gods my Mirror Image spell worked because its first attack was an ambush that would have killed me in one blow had it not hit one of my images. It whittled down all my other images and then my Armor Spell kicked in and caused it to miss many times. Of course I was missing too for the most part. Finally it did 7 points of damage to me before I was able to take it down. Whew!

The good news besides surviving was that I got a load of Xp, but alas not enough to go up a level.

But I did get a very handy potion of healing, and a magical whip that might be of interest to some people. It is a Whip of Enticement. Basically it increaes your chances of hitting and damage done, and if you hit they have a chance to miss their next attack on you. It has a whopping value of 1250 so it must be pretty good.

Of course I'll probably go right back to searching in the next room.

If Pass is around, I will give him the items I got today to hopefully get ID'd right away, so I can get them back tomorrow, and without charge, but if he's not, I'll send these along to anyone who is around who can ID them.

I have found a magical warhammer and a scroll.
