We Got The Beat - Remixing 1982

(Cue the Opening Music by Debby Ryan)

The Year is 1982...

The Year when Air Florida Flight 90 crashes in the Nations Capital killing 78...

Chariots of Fire won Best Picture in the Academy Awards...

The World's Fair is Held in Knoxville, TN...

The San Francisco 49ers won the Super Bowl...

The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series...

and Darrell Waltrip won Back-to-Back Winston Cups in the Real World

But in the Storyline we are mashing up with 2017 Stuff you'll never forget because this is the first leg of the CMC@35 Storyline set in 1982 and you know We Got The Beat!

Here's what we are going to use

Baseball: Strat-O-Matic Baseball
Football: APBA Football
NASCAR: A Mix of NR2003 Season and my board game using NASCAR Diecast Cars as Playing Pieces

However it begins at Alameda and it's on the Next Post.

Not to be picky - crashed IN the nation's capital, not "into". Almost implies that it crashed into the Capitol Building. Ok...I'm outta here

At CMC-Pinoy West Racing Team HQ - March 9th at 7:45 AM

We did came in the Runner-Up Spot in Alameda, I was hoping to take the Victory in the Next Race on March 14th when we head to Fontana and I just got excited to be getting the action to unfold so we can win a Jollibee Cup Series Race so I can bring the Checkered Flag home and take the Victory so I always wanted to win a Jollibee Cup Series Race so we hope we decided to beat our Defending Champ Darrell Waltrip however my friend Eleno Jianoran talked about it.

Eleno: Can anyone wanted to score a victory for CMC-Pinoy West Racing?

Jay: I Got It

Eleno: What?

Jay: Looks Like we can take the checkered flag in the #26 California Music Channel Toyota so I want to take the title home

Eleno: That's Even Good

Jay: So, I Think CMC-Pinoy West Racing will do it, however for Spring Training the Union City Colts are Coming but we wanted to do so.

Eleno: And I Don't Know well we should however for the Season Opener against the Oakland

Jay: So Let's Play Ball!

Meanwhile the Rhythm Radio West Coast News Sounder Blared

"Rhythm Radio Morning News Break, I'm Ted Kinney, Governor Brown's absence sparked boos at a Capitol rally of about 1,000 people protesting electric rates as the statewide crowed cheered Assembly Speaker Willie Brown of San Francisco when he promised them he would anything, KTLA's Rick De Reyes reports...

Rick: Governor Brown sparked boos yesterday at a rally in Sacramento's State Capitol of 1,000 people attempting to protest increased electric rates for the state as a Crowd from more than 20 Counties from all over Northern California cheered Assembly Speaker Willlie Brown Jr. from San Francisco as he will make his plans about the electric bill but to B.T. Collins who is Brown's Chief of Staff addrressed the rally in the governor's abscence by saying what happened about the bill.

B.T.: I Will convey these petitions and your feelings to the governor directly.

(Booing from the Crowd is heard)

Random Member from the Crowd: Impeach Jerry!

Rick: B.T. Collins tried to respond the group's program from point to point but the groupwants the governor and Legislature to declare an emergency as utility shut-offs will be banned during winter months and will take an intensive look into the Public Utilities Commission and roll back electric rates, this is Rick de Reyes reporting.

"Senator Harrison Williams apologized to the Senate yesterday for causing the turmoil, torture and ordeal" of an expulsontrial and declared his true personality as the New Jersey Democrat who is batling to keep his seat in Congress after being sentenced to three years in prison on Abscam bribery and conspiracy charges, said he "just can't conceive" of resigning."

"In Milwaukee, The United Auto Workers union has voted to reopen contract negotiations with the financially ailing American Motors Corp., but union leaders have called an original proposal outlandish as the company proposal called on employees to invest 10% of their wages to raise about $150 Million toward the company's billion dollar product develotement plan. AMC would start repaying the money, plus 10% annual interest as early as 1984."

"In Top 20 NABA Action, The Dallas Mavericks beat the San Antonio Spurs 121-113, The Boston Celtics knocked the Detroit Pistons 111-101 and The Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 98-95

"For Rhythm Radio Morning News, I'm Ted Kinney"

Jay: Looks like the San Francisco Warriors are playing the Denver Nuggets can't wait for it.

(Back at the Villa de la Caballeros at around 4PM on the same day)

Jasmine: Looks like we are still getting ready for Spring Training however yesterday we knocked out the Seattle Mariners 2-1 win and so we are trying to get the game going against Oakland Athletics on Spring Training

Susannah Milan: Well this could get excited afterwards we can stop the squad from Union City so we are going to get hyped

Jasmine: Well we are going to get hyped so we are trying to take a shot at beating the Colts on Spring Training but we will try to shake it up.

POST RACE STORYLINE

Corinne: We All Trickled Down since what we did here in Martinsville but we won for Jazzy G and

Kristina: I Did Not what the heck is going on but Next Week we are going to race in Manila but this could be a Thriller.

Corinne: Kristina, What were Saying?

Kristina: Yeah, I Mean I Care About you and I think you actually see because they need to win another race, because i've been hunting you since we got the job in Day #1 and I think you are generally going to win at Manila but we should, I just want to have a shot to win this race and the NASCAR Jollibee Cup Circuit needs me because with all the other girls we think about it.

Corinne: I Do Care about him because I wanna handle myself tonight

Kristina: I Wanna Be Brave, Because we will win in Manila however the Jollibee Cup will be in Manila

Corinne: And I Choose to handle it

Kristina: Because This Could Be It?

Corinne: Are you joking on it, NASCAR Needed me for this!

However Corinne went to Fleissco Team Manager Lacey Pemberton, Richard Petty of Petty Enterprises makes some strategy leading up to Manila

Richard: This Could be It, Kyle we will be in Manila so I will race the #43 STP Car, you will race the #42 STP Car

Kyle: That's a Good Chance however Richard Petty Enterprises are going to give it a go in hopes of Winning it all however we need one more race before it's time for May in Manila before the Night Race in the U-C.

Richard: I Hope I'm gonna get excited so count me in.

Kyle: Anyhow if we can stop Fleissco from Winning It All

Richard: Ain't Now Stopping Us Now.

Kyle: Okay play it on the MP3, King!

Richard: Okay

And McFadden and Whitehead's Ain't Now Stopping Us Now plays in his MP3 Player as the Kyle keeps grooving

BACK HERE AT FLEISSCO: Taylor and Corinne are still having to fed up and confront up.

Taylor: I'm not going be faith to you, not going be faith to you, I just the way you being treating and you've been acting to mean and I will never ever going to start a fight against you and you're hurting my feelings

Corinne: You're going to get any feelings, Because You're Hurt on my feelings

Taylor: Everytime, My Concern is not feeling confident that you are in the place that you are entering into a healthy relationship they're have been times that the fight on hoping skills to be intelligent, intelligence could mean a variety of different areas

Corinne: Okay

Taylor: Like Being Smarter, and street smarter and Emotional Intelligence which is self-awareness and gaining insight and being able to process feelings and connecting on an emotional level.

Corinne: Now Let's Stop Playing Misproper here.

Taylor: I'm not playing Misproper I think we are getting thru

Corinne: Are you acting stupid Taylor?

Taylor: I Don't Know

Meanwhile The Pemb is talking with Miss Waters.

Lacey: I Think I had this dream last night that we are in Manila and someone from CMC-Pinoy West Racing is wrecking me

Alexis: Am I Joking

Lacey: Are you afraid of a Rivalry

Alexis: Did you ever seen what happened in 1979 in the fight at A-Town in the Final Lap between Cale Yarborough and Donnie Allison

Lacey: I Didn't Know, Is a Punch, Because are you afraid of Rival Racing Aliens?

Alexis: Yeah, It's Terrified

Lacey: Oh Really, Serious Question are there's a chance that can you win by knocking those Rival Race Aliens?

Alexis: Stupid Question, Probably Raven that's scary

And Speaking of Raven...Gates that is, something happens next as The Heat of The Moment gets down before Manila.

(BGM that we are listening on Rhythm Radio Bay Area: Asia - Heat of the Moment)

Corinne: Well, Even what we did is what we did

Taylor: Right Team Manager Lacey Pemberton never know what's going to happen for FleissCo other racing teams in the 1982 NASCAR Jollibee Cup Circuit however we will be in Manila later in May then Pinole on Memorial Day so we think we can beat those

Alexis: Even Ghosts

Taylor: Alexis

Alexis: What?

Taylor: We Better Give Team FleissCo a 2nd Win!

Alexis: Thanks to what Jazzy G won a Grandfather Clock at Martinsville

Taylor: Apparently we should do it

Alexis: Me two maybe if we can tell Miss Schulman

Kristina: Me Three!

Both Taylor, Alexis and Kristina laughed.

UP NEXT: The Jollibee Cup Series will be on the Road to Manila and after Manila, Union City for a Race that occurs on Memorial Day Weekend.

Miss USA 1982 from San Jose, CA

Here in The San Jose they have a word,
A great way to start of each day....
When you want to say "Welcome", "We wish you the best"...
Just smile up a smile as you say, oh, oh, South Bay!
"You're smilin" South Bay "You're stylin"
It's a great salutation South Hey!
South Bay! "Persuasion", Hello, "You are delicious"
It's a one word of city, San Jose!
Won't you join us and try out this Sunny California way,
To say "Welcome, we're glad that you came"
It's a neat little greeting to start up each day,
Just smile up a smile and exclaim, oh, oh,
South Bay!, "Hello there" San Jose! "Let's go there"
South Bay!, "God bless you" San Jose!
South Bay you're singin'
San Jose we're swingin'
May you have a wonderful day-----

However I Decided to end this We Got The Beat, So I Have a feeling we should do 1988 however it's way too complicated, so we're good so let's finish up as The Rest Of 1982 draws to a good fashion as Darrell Waltrip won his 2nd Straight Jollibee Cup Title, the end.
