Not counting the biggest stars in NWA (Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Sting, The Road Warriors, etc.), I really am not aware of many of the workers during this era. If anyone has any suggestions for workers I should target, I'm all ears.

Yeah, you're gonna need help with the faces there, especially with the strong face/heel divide setting. Gonna need to have decent resilience as well I suspect, because that seems like a pretty rough & tumble intensity/danger setup.

You've got relationships with a couple of bigger feds that could supply short-term help with upper end faces, just make sure they aren't so big that they won't do the j.o.b. on their way out after three matches. Another possible place to find some help (assuming this is the '87 mod) might be some Occasional Wrestlers working on a p.p.a. basis all over the place.

A guy that I used to like in the old D.O.T.T. mod for TEW07 was Rick Hunter, ancient but skilled for this level, not sure what he looks like in the '10 mod though.

Funny thing, I used a fair portion of your roster -- Colt, Madril, Anthony, Oliver, Miller -- in my old GCW '07 campaign, very serviceable as mid/low mid fodder (because they're pop was low in the SE)

Maybe some of those Georgia guys could return the favor, although I'd caution about checking their workload carefully before hiring.

I vacated all of them. Didn't want to get roped into any storylines I didn't really want to do.

I traded talent with World Class Wrestling Association. I lend them Rip Oliver for Matt Borne (the son of one of my road agents). Borne will be a Face and have a short feud with The Grappler (Storyline #1).

I'll also push The Southern Rockers (Steve Doll and Scott Peterson) as the top tag team, at least until I sign a better one, or get American Ninja's popularity up and have him team with The Grappler. Anyway, the push of The Southern Rockers will be storyline #2.

And Storyline #3 will be the tournament for the Television title. Two matches per show until the tourney is over.

I'm just using unchained for the first two, and one of the tournament storylines for the third.

Tried to get the Midnight Express, but they both wanted $1500PPA....might have done it, but both of them had popularity in the Es for North West. I can't afford to spend $3000 on them per show trying to up their popularity. If they already D+ or higher, I probably would have pulled the trigger. Also failed in negotiations with Buzz Sawyer who would have been a great signing, even if he was another $1500 PPA. He already had the skills and popularity to step into the main event. Oh well. A few other negotiations fell through as well.

Bull Ramos has taken Brian Adams, the American Ninja, under his wing as his protege. Hm, I might turn this into a storyline.

Damn, apparently Eddie Gilbert is an extremely negative influence on the locker room. But, Shawn Michaels is a positive influence, so that's good.

I completely botched the booking on two angles (only about 4 minutes total, though). I'll redo those next week.

I created a storyline involving Sting and his main nemesis will be Top Gun. The "Sting's Hero Quest" storyline.

Barry Windham has the title now and is going to get a big sexy push. I also gave Brian Pillman the TV title, but he'll probably just hold it for a week or two before I give it over to someone else.

The Grappler kinda sucks. He's really only got Midcarder-Upper Midcard level talent. The only thing he's got going for him over the rest of the roster is popularity. And if I push the other workers like I want to, that advantage will go away soon. He's got D+ Pop in NW. Barry Windham just passed him (he's now C-, and started off at D a few months ago). Sting started off at F+ and is at E+ now. Shawn Michaels is up a step already. These guys are gaining pop and then I can phase out The Grappler.

It's a bit of a twist, though. I came in with too little in way of Faces. Now, Rip Oliver is trying to get himself fired, I'm not crazy about The Grappler, and none of the other heels really stand out. At some point, I may turn Windham and have him fight Sting unless I can bring in a big name heel down the road.

Bad News Allen - 43yo American. Light Heavyweight Brawler. B Brawling, B+ Puroresu, B Charisma, B- Acting, decent performance (although he can't sell), great physicals (A* Toughness, B Power, C Stam). Popularity in NorthWest: C-, so he's already as popular as Windham in the area. He can step right into the title picture....which I'll need to do since I had to promise him a Main Title run. I always found storylines to be very frustrating because it is so easy to make a mistake, waste an angle, and have to either redo it in a later show, advance the storyline without the angle or match, or go back to a save and redo the show.

A couple of years back I posted a suggestion on the TEW board that the booking analysis should tell you not only which workers you aren't using, but which storylines would not advance in the show. That way you'd at least be tipped off that something was amiss.

There should be some kind of error checking in creating the storyline as well. The error in this one was that it called for a "1 vs 1" singles match, yet it included 4 people. It was supposed to be a tag match, but the writer accidentally picked 1 v 1. I could have just skipped it and held the tag match as normal, but I got a bit tired of making mistakes and just evolved it to unchained. That also allowed me to write Abdullah out.

I really like the idea of prewritten storylines, but they become such a hassle at times. I get bored with unchained though, since there's no "story" to them.
