Computer Games You Eagerly Anticipate
Any computer games that have yet to be released that you await wit bated breath. CM4 is out, we're just waiting on distribution.
Personally, I'm interested in Crusader Kings, due out late August, early September. -Anxiety

The new Eastside Hockey Manager. If it's what I hope it will be there will be none higher.
Doom III looks interesting too.

EHM for me as well.
I was looking forward to Republic: The Revolution but I'm getting negative vibes. Total Aussie Rules 2003. And the .400 football game of course. |

Are they still making PC games? I have to admit the only game I'm looking forward to is StarCraft 2 and they haven't even announced they're going to do that.

I want Lionheart from Black Isles! Then I want them to make Fallout 3. I'm also eagerly awaiting the Star Wars RPG from the folks at Bioware. The Temple of Elemental Evil game from Troika, basically any RPG.

I don't set release dates, and the work is never steady (and less so now. Check the website or thread. Less time to work on it). But I'd say the game is around the half-way point.

EHM - definitly (this is the only pc sports text sim I need to complete my library) It'll fit nicely with ootp5, Fof4, and Tdcb.
For the ps2, I eagerly await this year's crop of football games. I haven't heard anything about Madden 2004 or NFL 2k4 yet. Maybe an ICO 2, if they are coming out with one. Todd |

I second that one Tarkus! Too bad it's going to be a few years before they even start on Starcraft 2. The next project (after the Warcraft 3 expansion) is Starcraft: Ghosts, a first person shooter that isn't even for the PC, it's for a counsole. I'm a big SC fan, haven't really gotten into Warcraft, and it stinks that it's going to take so long for them to follow it up. Oh well, better 3 good products then 30 bad ones I guess.

Geesh, I feel exactly the same way. PM me if you still play BW. I do and I'd love to either go against the AI together or we could play against each other, but it's been long time since I've done that, and I never really did it much. Tarkus

From what I heard, and it may just be rumor, is that they're making both SC2 and SC:Ghosts at the same time...I forget where I heard that though. May have been a gaming mag.

Actually he's right. There was another installment of Duke Nukem franchise called Duke Nukem Forever in production right now. It's in the same boat at Harpoon4, we've been waiting for years on this one too. Last edited by RawIsDan : 04-02-2003 at 01:32 PM. |

"waiting for years" is an understatement for Duke Nukem Forever.
When was this game originally announced? '97? '98? |

Sorry, guess I didn't make my sarcasm clear enough.
I was making fun of the fact it's been taking so long, the same with TF2 which was announce about 4 years ago I think, and no one has heard anything since. |
