The Shield: seasone 2 finale. Spoilers.
I was wondering if any of you guys watched it. I thought it was a good finale for a great show. But the reason I wanted to make a post is too ask a question. At the very end of the show when Vic came to the hideout and all the money-train money was laid out on the table he was celebrating as you thought he would. But then suddenly stopped and they just panned to the money. Did I miss something? Or was the money supposed to be fake and they realised that was all for nothing?

I saw it, and I think it was meant to show that the understood the enormity of what they had just done.
Up until that point the strike team had crossed the line, but never in such a large way, and always in the interests of what they thought was best. Now they have just done something enormous that there is no backing away from and whatever else happens they became aware of how big a step they had just taken.

I thought it might be that. They were playing that "Overwhelmed" song. I think how it was shot was a little confusing.

That was a fantastic ending.
I think next season will be even more intense. I think Tavon will probably become a full time Strike Team Member, and I think that with Acevada staying, they'll have to take him out to keep their jobs. |
