Don't waste your time. It's unfinished and I don't think it will be finished. rFactor is the best choice right now. IMO. |

Bleah.. Live for Speed is the best choice right now, perhaps in 6-8 months when more mods are done... then rfactor *might* be the best choice.
* plus you can download the demo and get a couple of cars, tracks and multiplayer for free. |

the best choice is Sierra Nascar Season 2003.
thats the best simulation racing you will find. Most Nascar drivers use it. |

From reports I heard it was pretty buggy. The new lighting features does look nice though. Also, I heard it was basically last years game but more polished and ''improved'' gameplay. Other than that I heard that it's not worth it.

EA Chase For the Cup 2006 is.. not bad.
The driving's tougher.. I'm still trying to get used to running the line (it's much more important in this version I think)

It's not a bad game. The 'Fight to the Top' mode is certainly enjoyable. I've always loved EA's console racers, but never their PC racer games. I love the team communicator thing since you could pull a Roush Racing via attempting to place all cars in the top five.
But there's this bug for the X-BOX version that I happened upon; it might not happen for you guys but it is happening to me. The stats seem to mysteriously double when you're apart of a Nextel Cup team as a driver and not an owner. I mean, one race I had 1 win, 4 top fives and 4 top tens, the next race I had 5 wins, 8 top fives and 8 top tens. Contacted EA's technical support and I received a response that cheat codes are the result of this mysterious doubling; more specifically, the maximum prestige code. Guess what? I restarted for the fourth time and the same problem happened. I didn't use any cheats on that try. Even after I deleted all of the files. I deleted them from the in-game save menu and not the X-BOX menu. Don't know if thats of any relevance to the problem. I'm giving it one more try and if it does it again then meh, there are plenty of other games out there. Nice game, regardless. |
