We Got Our Babay
The trip has been great so far. Langley has been very calm and hasn't really cried much at all. She does have a fairly bad case of scabies, but we're giving her Euramax cream and it already looks a little better. I think she's starting to become a Mommy's girl, but at least she's bonding!
Here are a couple of pics of us and her. The first is from yesterday when we first got her and the second is her playing this morning.

She's not playing in that second pic. She's trying to figure out how to use what she's holding in her deadly finishing move technique. I'd be careful.
Congrats! |

Thanks all. Today was a really great day. We saw her orphanage and immediately after stepping off the bus the orphanage director was calling her by her Chinese nickname Lai Lai. It was obvious that both he and her nanny were very close to her and took good care of her. Aside from the place being very cold it was as good an environment as I could have hoped for. I was worried that she would flip when we went back, but she was very calm throughout. I hope the pictures of her with her nanny and the director will someday be important to her.
She also really bonded with us today. Its not unusual for the adoptive baby to really see you as parents on day three, but knowing and experiencing are two different things. Today was the first day she slept while I was holding her and I'm sure you Dads know what that means. I'm completely worthless around her and I'll be giving her my wallet and car keys as soon as she'll take them!
