Computer hardware problem-GDS -TCB/BBCF?

I have am noticing something odd when playing some game son my PC. I have been playing GDS games TCB and BBCF and my computer is running really loud. It is a pentium4 3.4 GHZ with 2GBs.RAM. Whenever I start up one of those games but it might be with all games the CPU is really noisy like it is straining to handle the workload. Anyone knowledgeable about hardware got an idea. I think it is a hardware problem not so much a problem with the Apps. Could it be overheating? or problem with the processor?

What you hear is the ventilator spinning faster, the problem is overheating. It doesn't mean is a bad problem, just that at some moments, the processor is processing a lot of info and getting hotter. It will happen also with other cpu demanding apps. It's not a really big issue unless you computer suddenly turns off itself, but for sure a better cooling system would help. I have that problem in summer as it's so hot in Spain, i need to have my computer case open and also had a to buy a good cooling system, not the usual crap default ones.

Thanks Icy. That is what I thought. I might add a better fan to cool it.
