Exclamation NFL 2005-2006 Season.

Football Season is here! Lets hope its a good one. If todays games are half as good as yesterdays then I'll be in heaven.

That Thursday game was such a tease, I can't wait for all of these to start and for me to take a commanding lead in Sabs pick em.

A no brainer gambling pick or a trap game?

Sunday, September 10th, 2005

Today's Lock: St. Louis Rams -6
NFL LOCK OF THE MONTH!
We pounded the table on ND yesterday - they not only covered the 7-point underdog spread, but won the game outright! What a LOCK!
Today we LOVE the Rams on the road in San Francisco as our September Lock of the Month. This game will count as 3 LOCKS, win or lose. Our Locks on the Month are money in the bank, in which you must be aware. San Francisco won't be able to handle the offensive attack of the Rams today. Steven Jackson, an incredible combination of strength and speed, will be too much for the Niners. He'll have a monster game, opening up the passing attack for Bulger, Holt, and Bruce. The 49ers have a defense that was ranked 24th overall in the NFL last season. Keep in mind that SF is still getting over the death of a fellow teammate, Thomas Herrion. The Rams are a LOCK!

WOW what a play from the dolphins!!

1-10-MIA18 (8:48) C.Chambers left end ran ob at DEN 21 for 61 yards. Chambers stepped out-of-bounds.

Too bad he stepped out just because touching the side line, he scored the TD.

Priest Holmes was clearly down before reaching the endzone... but it's simply not worth challenging.

Yikes ... that Priest holmes TD was incredible. Broke four tackles inside the 10-yard line. 14-0.

Agreed- even with just a few years with the team, they need to start building him a statue

Priest Holmes, on about his 5th effort on the play, scores from 3 out. 14-0 KC

Broke 4 tackles? Are you even watching the same game? He shook someone off his ankle, then was tackled at the 1 and got a bogus TD call.

He shook a guy off his ankle around the eight, ran threw a guy at four, eluded a third guy at the three and was dragged down at the one. I agree he was down before he got end. It didn't matter ... watching this game, do you think the Jets could stop Kansas City with two cracks for one yard?

Uhm, I refuse to throw 17 weeks of football talk into one thread, but we will address that later.

So far....

-J.P. Losman is looking good for Buffalo.
-Vikings suck But probably not enough to lose this game I am sure, and Sharper just backed that up.
-Bears first offensive play was a pass by Orton, nice try Bears.
-Chiefs are running up a storm.

-Sunday Ticket still rocks. Anyone checking out the free preview of the Super Fan add on for Sunday Ticket? That music on the multi-game channels is horrible. The Red Zone channel is cool though. And having just found out that they will repeat the games is an excellent feature. I still won't pay the extra $100 though.

I have a feeling that the Bears and Redskins will play a low scoring game even a scoreless tie for the 1st game to be 0-0 since 1943.

Travis Henry with another fumble, although a big time hit by James Farrior popped it loose.

Yeah it isn't like we are talking about Chicago here... the Chiefs can run up the score on just about anyone.

Losman is good until he tries to find the endzone. On end zone passes he's way over throwing his receivers...

After the Redskins kill themselves with a TD called back on a penalty, and then a fumble, I take this statement back.

Interesting note, safety Shawn Taylor was in at WR on the TD pass. He didn't get the TD catch that was called back though....

edit:I mean Taylor was not the guy to catch the ball, he was a decoy I would say....
