Week 8: New York Jets at Cleveland Browns
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LG Pete Kendall - Seperated Shoulder Injured: C Nick Mangold - Pulled Calf Muscle (Doubtful) S Kerry Rhodes - Hyperextended Elbow (Doubtful) WR Laveranues Coles - Seperated Shoulder (Questionable) TE Sean Ryan - Broken Toe (Questionable) CB Justin Miller - Bruised Ribcage (Probable) WR Justin McCareins Strained Rotator Cuff (Probable) RG Brandon Moore - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) NT Dewayne Robertson - Broken Thumb (Questionable) C Trey Teague - Strained Triceps Muscle (Questionable) Cleveland Browns Out: N/A Injured: C LeCharles Bentley - Strained Hamstring (Questionable) QB Ken Dorsey - Hyperextended Elbow (Probable) DE Orpheus Roye - Strained Quadriceps Muscle (Probable) LB Andra Davis - Strained Quadriceps Muscle (Probable) Cleveland Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Ken Dorsey Dorsey is not a good quarterback, plain and simple. He lacks the touch to make short, accurate passes. He has terrible timing and very poor accuracy. He has a strong arm and senses the rush well, but that is basically all he has going for him. RB Reuben Droughns Droughns is an above-average running back, who recognizes holes well and also always seems to run well on third down. He doesn't have much speed to the outside, and is average running up the middle. He isn't the fastest runner but he comes up big in certain situations. TE Kellen Winslow Jr. Winslow Jr. is a top-tier tight end. He is an above-average run blocking TE, but is excellent in pass-protection. He will catch most of the balls thrown his way because of his athleticism. He can catch long passes, short passes, and passes that are poorly thrown. We must guard him heavily. FL Braylon Edwards Edwards is a 2nd-year player who is on his way to being a pretty good player. His skilled have not developed fully yet, and still can make some mistakes because of his lack of experience. He runs his routes well, but has trouble making big plays. SE Frisman Jackson Jackson is a below-average receiver who doesn't have the courage to go over the middle and isn't able to adjust to poorly thrown balls. The combination of this receiver and their quarterback will lead to good things for us. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The Browns offensive line is actually pretty good. The left side of the line is astounding, and the starting center, LeCharles Bentley, is also very good. However, he is questionable for today's game. If he doesn't play, the right side of the middle should be attacked. If he is in the game, all blitzes should be focused on the outside-right. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The defensive line is also very good. The biggest weakness is their RDE, who isn't very good against the run and not a particularly strong pass-rusher. The NT is a dominant run-stopper so running up the middle is not a very good idea. -SECONDARY- LCB Gary Baxter Baxter doesn't many interceptions, but is a good zone-coverage CB. He doesn't diagnose plays very well, and he should be a player we focus on attacking in our passing game. RCB Daylon McCutcheon Daylon is the much better CB of the two, but isn't astounding. He is best at bump-and-run coverage but is also known for his hard hitting and run-stopping ability. SS Brian Russell Russell is an excellent safety. He lacks good run-stopping skills but is excellent in zone coverage as well as man-to-man coverage. FS Sean Jones Jones is not a very good safety. He has poor zone skills and struggles stopping the run. He does, however, intercept a lot of passes so we should be careful. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Run outside of our LT. - Avoid running up the middle. - Attack LCB Baxter throughout the game. DEFENSE: - Run a lot of Weak-side man coverage in order to guard against their excellent TE. - Guard against middle to long range passes. Dorsey lacks the touch to make short, accurate throws. - Blitz towards the right side of their offensive line. - Play a lot of man-to-man coverage because of their lack of a short passing game. |

Week 8: New York Jets at Cleveland Browns
Post-Game Notes Box Score: Week 8, 2006 played in Cleveland, OH 65 degrees, fair, 2 mph wind
Drive Charts
Rushing Statistics
Notes: We are officialy half-way through the season. For this team, this is the perfect time to have a bye week. We have more wins at this point than we did all of last season, and that is something to be very proud of. We are now 5-3, and we have a week to rest and prepare for the next 8 games. The game went well today. We still haven't been able to play consistently through the whole game. Today we came out and quickly were down 11 points. Luckily, we got it together in the 2nd half. We need to come out firing on all cylinders in the first half as well as the 2nd. Chad is still going strong. His arm feels better than it ever has and he is playing like it. Today he threw for 223 yards with 2 TD's and no INT's. He is putting together a very solid season and I'm sure he is proving alot of people wrong. The running game is still going strong. The past few games we played some tough defensive teams and the game plan called for an air attack. Today, the same game plan was in place because of the Browns strong defensive line, but we had a strong YPC average and put up 162 yards rushing. Running back Cedric Houston has been having problems holding on to the ball and that will be addressed throughout the next two weeks of practices. The defense played solid again, but in the first half we showed the weaknesses we have. We have to get better in pass coverage, as we let up some strings of bad plays. Inconsistency is our biggest weakness at this point, in my mind. We have had some standouts, however. Victor Hobson is putting up some incredible numbers. CB Drew Coleman is also doing very well, considering he is a 6th-round rookie. For as many good things we have done so far this year, we have things to work on. The next two weeks we have a lot of things to work on, but I cannot say how proud I am of the hard work and dedication each player has put into this season. Injury Report: Trey Teague, C, is now 100%. Dewayne Robertson, NT, is now 100%. Justin McCareins, FL - Strained Rotator Cuff, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Nick Mangold, C - Pulled Calf Muscle, Questionable, full strength in about 1 week. Shaun Ellis, LDE - Bruised Sternum, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Kerry Rhodes, SS - Hyperextended Elbow, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Sean Ryan, TE - Broken Toe, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Laveranues Coles, FL - Separated Shoulder, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Brandon Moore, RG - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Ben Graham, P - Concussion, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Justin Miller, RCB - Bruised Ribcage, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Pete Kendall, LG - Separated Shoulder, Out, full strength in about 4 weeks. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Out, full strength in about 8 weeks. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week is a bye week for the Jets. The next game will be against the 5-2 New England Patriots. Last edited by JetsIn06 : 01-14-2007 at 09:50 PM. |

Transaction Update:
With starting tight-end Chris Baker going down with ACL damage in his knee, doctors have informed New York Jets coach Eric Mangini and general manager Mike Tannenbaum that he will miss the rest of the season. The Jets have placed Baker on Injured Reserve, making him inactive for the rest of the season. To fill in the open spot, on Monday the Jets signed veteran tight-end Roland Williams. Williams was drafted in the 4th round by the St. Louis Rams in the 1998 NFL Draft. He is known as a pass-catching TE and will split playing time with TE Sean Ryan. |

Transaction Update:
With the bye week now here, the New York Jets have taken a look at each aspect if their game, looking for things that are able to be improved at this point in the season. Head coach Eric Mangini knows that field position is a silent killer. If you can't get good field position, you will struggle on offense. The punt return game for the Jets has been less than stellar. At the beginning of the year, WR Tim Dwight was the starting punt returner, but cost the Jets a chance at winning in 2 games because of fumbles. Then it was rookie RB Leon Washington, who did a good job holding on to balls, but couldn't get it going, averaging only 2.5 yards per return. This week the Cleveland Browns released WR Dennis Northcutt, a 2nd-round pick in 2000. The Jets know that he has good return skills, and has big-play ability. Look for Northcutt to be the starting punt returner, and get some plays as receiver as well. To make room for the signing, the Jets released FB James Hodgins, a player who was only active for one game so far this season. Northcutt will provide a bigger impact for the Jets this year. He signed on Wednesday for one year, with a salary of $680,000 with no signing bonus. |

Week 10: New York Jets at New England Patriots
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LG Pete Kendall - Seperated Shoulder Injured: P Ben Graham - Concussion (Probable) WR Laveranues Coles - Seperated Shoulder (Probable) CB Justin Miller - Bruised Ribcage (Probable) RG Brandon Moore - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) TE Sean Ryan - Broken Toe (Probable) LB Bryan Thomas - Sprained Thumb (Probable) New England Patriots Out: C Dan Koppen - Shoulder Surgery RG Stephen Neal - Back Surgery Injured: WR Chad Jackson - Broken Nose (Probable) RT Jeff Roehl - Strained Lateral Knee Ligament (Probable) NT Jonathan Sullivan - Bad Cold (Probable) New England Patriots Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Tom Brady Tom Brady has proven himself to be one of the best quarterback's in the league. He seems to come through in the worst of situations and doesn't get shaken by pressure. He tends to throw shorter passes but is a threat in every facet of the game. He senses the rush extremely well. Also, with his ability to keep calm under pressure, he runs the two-minute offense extremely well and is very dangerous at that time. RB Laurence Maroney Maroney is a young back but is extremely dangerous when running to the outside. We must play cornerbacks who stop the run well when we are in our base package to minimize that threat. He is a good pass-catcher out of the backfield as well. TE Daniel Graham Graham is a very talented TE who blocks excellently on both running and passing plays. He is an excellent route runner and seems to never drop the ball. We must guard against this TE to prevent them from moving the ball down the field with him. FL Chad Jackson Jackson has a tendency to drop alot of balls thrown his way, but is a decent deep threat. We must protect against the deep ball because of Jackson's big play ability and Brady's deep pass ability. He doesn't run his routes very well but is an excellent third-down receiver. SE Doug Gabriel Gabriel seems like he will be the main target of Brady. On non third-down passing downs we should double team this player. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The left side of the offensive line is absolutely incredible. We should put our biggest pass rushing threat on the strong-side to take advantage of their weak RG Billy Yates and RT Nick Kaczur. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The Patriots run a 3-4 defense with strong run-stopping linemen and good linebackers. Their is a weakness in run-stopping, however, on their weak side. We should take advantage of that weakness. NT Vince Wilwork is the epitome of a 3-4 NT. He stops the run extremely well. RDE Jarvis Green is a very good pass-rushing end but is below-average in run defense. The LDE Richard Seymour is an excellent end and should be avoided. The Patriots two outside linebackers, SLB Mike Vrabel and WLB Rosevelt Colvin are very good pass-rushing linebackers. We need to keep our backs and TE in on some occasions to deter that threat. The inside linebackers are different on each side. SILB Teddy Bruschi is a stronger pass-rushing LB but has above average run-stopping skills, and WILB Junior Seau is very poor at run defense. All of the linebackers are very good in pass coverage. -SECONDARY- LCB Asante Samuel Samuel is an excellent cover corner. He diagnoses plays extremely well and is a ball-hawk. He will jump routes and intercept passes thrown his way. He should be avoided. RCB Chad Scott Hill is a very poor cornerback who lacks the man-to-man skills to cover our receiver well. He is very poor in bump-and-run coverage, and should be picked on all day. SS Tebucky Jones With Rodney Harrison out for the game, we should pick on this safety throughout the game. He is terrible in zone defense and some long passes should be thrown his way. FS Eugene Wilson Wilson is by far, the much better safety of this duo. He intercepts many passes and is good in zone defense, as well as run defense. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Avoid throwing the ball to the middle of the field. The linebackers as a group are very good at pass coverage. - Avoid throwing towards LCB Asante Samuel. With the strong safety being a replacement, there should be on occasional deep pass toward him. Pick on RCB Chad Scott all day. Line up Coles against him on some downs. - Attack their weak side by running alot outside of our LT. - Using our two main backs, Washington and Houston, we will keep fresh legs on the field. When a surge of power running is needed, Barlow will come in to move the ball forward. - Protect our QB by keeping in our TE and backs to help pick up their blitzing linebackers. DEFENSE - Every facet of the passing game is a threat. Don't give up big plays, and don't be too aggressive against short passes. - We must attack their weak right side of the offensive line. We will have a big oppurtunity to put alot of pressure on the QB. Brady is very good at picking up the blitz and should be attacked consistently. - Run a mixed coverage defense, but mainly play bump and run against their weak receivers. Use the half-zone, half-man defense to cover their good pass-catching TE. - On 1st and 2nd down, double team SE Gabriel. Because of FL Jackson's excellent third-down catching, we should double team him on 3rd down. - For our base 3-4 package, use good run-defending CB's because of Maroney's excellent outside running. |

Rushing Statistics
Notes: The apprentice has taken down his master. Today, coach Mangini proved that he can take on the best, beating his former mentor at his home field. This was one of the greatest football games I have ever seen. There is so much to be proud of. Firstly, the Patriots are one of the best teams in the NFL. We stuck with them throughout the game, played consistently, and beat them in all three phases of the game. We ran for more yards, with Leon Washington rushing for 42 yards, Cedric Houston rushing for 14 yards, and Kevan Barlow rushing for 14 yards. We also had more passing yards, with Pennington beating out Tom Brady by 9 yards. Brady did have 4 TD passes, however. Laveranues Coles had a career high 15 catches for 173 yards, and rookie Brad Smith had 39 yards. Our defense held their own today against this very strong Patriot offense. OLB Victor Hobson as well as OLB Bryan Thomas picked up a sack on Tom Brady, and Hobson also came out with an interception. Obviously, however, the big story here is Dennis Northcutt. During our bye week practices, Northcutt was released by the Cleveland Browns. With the Jets in need of a quality punt returner, they picked him up within a few days of the release. Little did they know, he would contribute heavily during his first time in a Jets uniform. With the Jets punting after a 3 and out with 3:06 left on the clock, they needed a big stop from their defense. They got that big stop, and the Patriots were forced to punt with only 2:03 left on the clock. Mangini hoped that there would be enough time to drive down the field and score a TD, then a 2-point conversion. He wouldn't need those two minutes. Returner Dennis Northcutt fielded the ball and made the other team look foolish, juking and spinning his way 64-yards for a touchdown. Pennington then found TE Sean Ryan wide open in the endzone for a 2-point conversion, tying the game. After kicking off the the Patriots, Tom Brady threw an errant pass which was intercepted by LB Victor Hobson. The Jets, after gaining ten yards on runs and moving to the 17 yard line, kicker Mike Nugent hit the game winning field goal, putting the Jets on top with only 3 seconds left, and tying them with the Patriots for first place in the AFC East. Injury Report: Sean Ryan, TE, is now 100%. Laveranues Coles, FL, is now 100%. Brandon Moore, RG, is now 100%. Ben Graham, P, is now 100%. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Pete Kendall, LG - Separated Shoulder, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Anthony Clement, RT - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Justin Miller, RCB - Bruised Ribcage, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Out, full strength in about 6 weeks. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week's game is against the 2-7 Chicago Bears. Week 11: Chicago Bears at New York Jets
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: N/A Injured: LG Pete Kendall - Seperated Shoulder (Probable) CB Justin Miller - Bruised Ribcage (Probable) LB Bryan Thomas - Sprained Thumb (Probable) RT Anthony Clement - Sprained Thumb (Probable) Chicago Bears Out: WR Bernard Berrian - Strained Achilles Tendon Injured: RB Cedric Benson - Elbow Bursitis (Probable) DE Adewale Ogunleye - Torn Knee Cartilage (Probable) LB Lance Briggs - Bruised Sternum (Probable) Chicago Bears Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Brian Griese Griese has a lot of good skills. He throws screen very well, but doesn't have a lot of accuracy on his throws. He throws good under pressure on third-down, but if alot of blitzes are brought against him he gets flustered. Griese does have excellent timing, however, and the short passes should be guarded against. RB Cedric Benson Benson is an excellent running back who can hurt us in many different ways. He has very good speed to the outside, and can power the ball up the middle as well. The one thing he lacks is excellent speed, but it isn't terrible. He is elusive, recognizes holes well, and can also hurt us when catching passes out of the backfield. TE Desmond Clark Clark is a very good pass-catching TE, and is a decent pass blocker. He doesn't block runs very well but can get down the field quick and can also make some big plays. FL Mark Bradley Bradley is a quick receiver who is excellent on short, compact routes. He doesn't catch the deep ball well and also lacks the courage to cross into the middle of the field. SE Justin Gage Gage is a deep threat. He is a big receiver who doesn't drop a lot of balls and adjusts to the ball very well. He is an excellent third-down receiver as well. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The offensive line is very, very good. The biggest weakness is at RG but the other four linemen are extremely talented. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The defensive line is very impressive. The right end, however, is very weak against the run. We should run directly at him when rushing the ball. The other three linemen are very stout run defenders. All three linebackers, especially MLB Brian Urlacher, are incredible players on defense. We should avoid throwing the ball their way. -SECONDARY- LCB Nathan Vasher Vasher is an excellent cover cornerback who will knock down a ton of passes. He lacks the hands to make a lot of interceptions, but he will stick to our receivers like glue. RCB Ricky Manning Jr. Manning is a perfect compliment to Vasher. He is rated very well in man-to-man and bump-and-run coverage and average in zone coverage. We should expect a lot of bump-and-run coverage. SS Mike Brown Brown is the better of the two safeties, but lacks good zone coverage. He diagnoses plays well and hits hard, but could be a liability in the passing game. FS Chris Harris Harris is a very poor safety who has the hands to make a lot of picks but lacks the coverage skills. We should attack him deep occasionaly. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Throw a lot of quick out routes to keep the ball away from the linebackers. They will hurt us if we test them - Both cornerbacks are excellent in coverage. Look to the TE and players in the backfield to move the ball in the air. - Attack FS Harris deep occasionaly. DEFENSE: - Play a lot of weak-side man cover to gaurd against passes to the TE. - Double team the SE on obvious long pass attempts and on third down. - We must stop the run in order to be sucessful. Benson is an excellent runner up the middle and to the outside. |

Post-Game Notes Box Score: Week 11, 2006 played in New York, NJ 55 degrees, rain, 15 mph wind
Drive Charts
Rushing Statistics
Notes: One of the biggest goals on this team is to keep the ball in our possesion. Fumbles are unacceptable. Interceptions are unacceptable. Today, fumbles absolutely killed us. Fumbles are momentum killers. When you are on a drive that may give you the lead, fumbles demoralize the team. No one played a good game today. Everyone played mediocre. Chad had some very bad throws, none of our receivers did a good job getting open either. The Bears are a very tough team whose record doesn't show their talent, but that is never an excuse. Our team played nothing more than average today, and we need to bounce back next week. We are now 6-4. We have played well this season, but we need to play consistently through the rest of the season. An NFL season is 16 games. 4 games is one quarter. We have a problem playing consistently throughout a whole game, and we have the same problem with playing consistently through the season. Injury Report: Bryan Thomas, WLB, is now 100%. Anthony Clement, RT - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Justin Miller, RCB - Bruised Ribcage, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Brad Smith, FL - Hyperextended Knee, Doubtful, full strength in about 2 weeks. Pete Kendall, LG - Hyperextended Knee, Out, full strength in about 3 weeks. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Out, full strength in about 5 weeks. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week's game is against the 4-6 Houston Texans. |

Week 12: Houston Texans at New York Jets
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LG Pete Kendall - Hyperextended Knee Injured: WR Brad Smith - Hyperextended Knee (Doubtful) CB Justin Miller - Bruised Ribcage (Probable) RT Anthony Clement - Sprained Thumb (Probable) Houston Texans Out: RG Fred Weary - MCL Damage to the Knee Injured: LT Seth Wand - Broken Toe (Questionable) SS Ramon Walker - Strained Hamstring (Questionable) DE Mario Williams - Pulled Groin (Probable) DE Jason Babin - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) Houston Texans Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB David Carr Carr is a smart quarterback with a great arm. He is very accurate, especially on medium to long passes. He throws very well under pressure, can avoid sacks, and comes up big on 3rd down. He is one of the most intelligent quarterbacks in the league and can read defenses very well. RB Domanick Davis Davis has excellent speed to the outside and good power up the middle. he lacks good breakaway speed but makes up for it by recognizing holes very well. He is a good pass catcher out of the backfield as well. TE Owen Daniels Daniels is a really good prospect. He is a rookie that is an average pass blocker but is very poor when run-blocking. He is an excellent receiver and should be guarded well. FL Andre Johnson Johnson is an incredible receiver who absolutely needs to be double-teamed on most plays. He is extremely dangerous. SE Jerome Mathis Mathis is a threat when he is thrown the deep ball because of his speed, but that is about it. He will drop a lot of catches, lacks the courage to go over the middle, and doesn't adjust to the ball well. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The offensive line for the Texans is interesting. LT Seth Wand is the best player on the line, and the left side of the line are very good pass blockers, but run-block poorly. The right side of line, especially RT Eric Winston is very weak and should be the focus of our pass-rush attack. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The Texans have a very dangerous defensive line. #1 pick Mario Williams will wreck havoc on our offense and he needs to be blocked heavily. The other three linemen are also very good, which will make running difficult. All three linebackers are especially good at run stopping, but the two outside linebackers are better players than the middle linebacker, DaShon Polk. -SECONDARY- LCB Dunta Robinson Robinson won't pick up a lot of picks but is stout in run defense and is a very good bump-and-run defender. RCB Phillip Buchanon Buchanon is a poorly disciplined player who will make a lot of mistakes because of his inability to diagnose plays. SS Glenn Earl Earl doesn't stop the run very well but does okay when dropping into coverage. He is more known for his kick returning than his coverage, however. FS Guss Scott Scott is a better run defender than Earl but is pretty bad in coverage. His zone coverage is very poor and lacks the hands to make a lot of interceptions. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Running the ball is going to be very difficult. Use passes to set up runs, and vice versa. - Attack the RCB Buchanon. His inability to diagnose plays will lead to costly mistakes. - Take a lot of shots deep against their two weak safeties. DEFENSE: - Attack with blitzes against the right side of the Texans offensive line. The RT is a liability for them. - Protect against a strong game by the TE by running a lot of weak-side man cover. - Bring SS Kerry Rhodes in to blitz more often to create a lot of pressure on Carr. Post-Game Notes Box Score: Week 12, 2006 played in East Rutherford, NJ 55 degrees, fair, 4 mph wind

Rushing Statistics
Box Score: We did a great job this week bouncing back from that dissapointing loss last week. The team did a great job during practice, and it showed. We were prepared for this team today. The players executed the game plan, and when that happens, we will usually come out on top. Chad did a very good job today, completing 17 of 30 passes for 179 yards. He did a great job spreadin the ball around, with 4 receivers having more than 20 yards catching. During the second half, we stayed on the ground because of our lead. Leon Washington did a good job, collecting 71 yards on 20 carries. Cedric Houston and Kevan Barlow shared the rest of the duties each having 12 carries...and no fumbles. I'm very proud of Cedric for today. He worked very hard throughout the week, and because of our big lead in the second half, we gave him a try, and he came through. Kicker Mige Nugent has been on a roll lately, and today he added to his impressive numbers with a 20-yarder. Jet newcomer Dennis Northcutt had an amazing punt return for a touchdown and averaged 16.6 yards per return. He has really been an invaluable addition to the team. On defense, we did a good job holding them to only ten points. They allowed only 131 passing yards and 98 rushing yards, which can be improved but the overall performance of the defense today was strong. Our pass defense was exceptional, allowing only 14 of 41 passes to be completed. We are now 7-4, and one game behind the Patriots. We are taking one game at a time. Anything past next Sunday's game is meaningless. Other teams records are meaningless. If we win, and stay focused on our own games and take them one at a time, everything else will fall into place. Injury Report: Anthony Clement, RT, is now 100%. Justin Miller, RCB, is now 100%. Brad Smith, FL - Hyperextended Knee, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Pete Kendall, LG - Hyperextended Knee, Questionable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Doubtful, full strength in about 4 weeks. Brandon Moore, RG - Pulled Groin, Doubtful, full strength in about 5 weeks. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Strained Elbow Tendon, Out, full strength in about 6 weeks. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week's game is against the 6-5 Green Bay Packers. Last edited by JetsIn06 : 01-16-2007 at 07:45 PM. |

Week 13: New York Jets at Green Bay Packers
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LB Bryan Thomas - Strained Elbow Tendon Injured: RG Brandon Moore - Pulled Groin (Doubtful) LG Pete Kendall - Hyperextended Knee (Questionable) WR Brad Smith - Hyperextended Knee (Probable) Green Bay Packers Out: RT Mark Tauscher - Torn Quadriceps Muscle DT Kenderick Allen - ACL Damage to the Knee Injured: TE Bubba Franks - Torn Thumb Ligament (Questionable) TE David Martin - Strained Quadriceps Muscle (Probable) WR Koren Robinson - Strained Rotator Cuff (Probable) CB Al Harris - Bruised Sternum (Probable) CB Will Blackmon - Broken Toe (Probable) Green Bay Packers Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Brett Favre Brett Favre is an amazing quarterback who is unfortunately on the decline, but is still good enough to win games for his team. He lacks the arm strength to be able to throw deep passes accurately, but he is a good quarterback when he is making short or medium distance throws. He is excellent on third down and reads defenses very well, but his age has slowed him down and he is not very elusive any more. RB Ahman Green Green has excellent speed to the outside and good breakaway speed, but lacks the power to run up the middle. He is a terrible third down runner. TE David Martin Martin is a replacement player who doesn't pose a huge threat to us. FL Donald Driver Driver is an excellent receiver who gets downfield quickly and is an excellent third-down receiver. SE Koren Robinson Robinson is not a big threat to us and should not be double teamed. -OFFENSIVE LINE- All of the blitz attacks should be focused away from their LT, Chad Clifton. He is a very good blocker in both aspects of the game. The rest of the offensive line is very poor in pass blocking and we should be able to pick up a few sacks. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The defensive line of the Packers is one of their strong points. The two DE's, Aaron Kampman and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila are very good pass-rushers and the defensive line as a whole are good run stuffers. The linebackers of the Packers are also very strong. We have to be careful about throwing towards them. -SECONDARY- LCB Al Harris Harris is a very well rounded cornerback. He has no glaring weaknesses and no huge strengths. RCB Charles Woodson Woodson is similar to Harris, except he diagnoses plays extremely well. He is also a very hard hitter and defends runs very well. SS Marquand Manuel Manuel is an excellent safety who is smart, diagnoses plays well, and plays excellent zone coverage. FS Nick Collins Collins is a young player who is still developing, but he has a lot of intangibles. His zone coverage is still a little raw, but he defends the run vert well and diagnoses plays well. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Throw outs and screens to avoid throwing towards their impressive linebackers. - Attempt to establish the run with all three running backs in order to keep their defense off balance. - Run outside to the right towards their weak run defending LCB. DEFENSE: - Play run-defending CB's because of Green's outside running ability. - Double team FL Driver on third down. - Blitz against the right side of the offensive line. |

dola,
..and let me say you're doing a good job with your dynasty. It's hard to meld stats with a savy dialog in dynasties and you're doing fine. It's tough to stay the course, but keep at it! |

( Thanks MizzouRah! It is actually pretty tough to stay the course. Im getting sick of writing scouting reports but im now only 4 games away from the offseason which I'm going to spend a lot of time on. Thanks a lot for the encouragement. If you have any tips, advice, suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!)

Week 13: New York Jets at Green Bay Packers
Post-Game Notes Box Score: Week 13, 2006 played in Green Bay, WI 36 degrees, fair, 5 mph wind

Rushing Statistics
Notes: The only thing I have to say about this game is that I'm extremely dissapointed with the team. Chad had a bad day, completing only 16 of 40 passes and an interception. The running game was our only strong point, with Leon Washington busting out for a career high 159 yards rushing, but he also had a fumble. WR Laveranues Coles had an awful game, finding it very difficult to get open. He was thrown to 16 times and only made 3 catches, and dropped 2 passes. The defense was very poor, allowing 158 yards of rushing, and 5.43 YPC. We need to be able to stop the run in order to succeed. We did a decent job in pass coverage, holding Brett Favre to just over a 50% completion percentage. Safety Kerry Rhodes had a good game and picked up an interception, but as a whole, our team did poorly. On special teams, Nugent ended his hot streak and missed a field goal. We dropped a game that we should have won, and that shouldn't happen, ever. Injury Report: B.J. Askew, FB, is now 100%. Jerricho Cotchery, SE, is now 100%. C.J. Mosley, NT, is now 100%. Brad Smith, FL - Hyperextended Knee, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Pete Kendall, LG - Hyperextended Knee, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Questionable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Erik Coleman, FS - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Brandon Moore, RG - Pulled Groin, Doubtful, full strength in about 4 weeks. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Strained Elbow Tendon, Out, full strength in about 5 weeks. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week's game is against the 5-7 Buffalo Bills. |

Week 14: Buffalo Bills at New York Jets
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LB Bryan Thomas - Strained Elbow Tendon Injured: RG Brandon Moore - Pulled Groin (Doubtful) WR Brad Smith - Hyperextended Knee (Probable) LG Pete Kendall - Hyperextended Knee (Probable) FS Erik Coleman - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) Buffalo Bills Out: RG Duke Preston - Torn Quadriceps Muscle FB Daimon Shelton - Ankle Surgery SS Donte Whitner - Severe Hamstring Pull Injured: QB Kelly Holcomb - Knee Contusion (Probable) C Melvin Fowler - Bruised Heel (Probable) LB Takeo Spikes - Strained Rotator Cuff (Probable) LB Mario Haggan - Sprained Thumb (Probable) CB Terrence McGee - Severe Wrist Sprain (Probable) SS Coy Wire - Bruised Sternum (Probable) FB Chester Banks - Sprained Ankle (Probable) Buffalo Bills Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Kelly Holcomb Holcomb is at best an average quarterback. His biggest strength is in the short passing game. He is fairly accurate as well but lacks a deep passing threat. He is very similar to Jets quarterback Chad Pennington. He does not sense the rush well so light and heavy blitzes should be used. RB Willis McGahee McGahee is an excellent back who has tremendous speed to the outside but is also a threat up the middle. He is a tremendous receiving back and will be used as an outlet often. If possible, linebackers with good man-to-man skills should be used in order to stop McGahee from dominating us in both running and receiving. TE Robert Royal Royal is a good run blocking TE with good route running skills, but lacks the hands neccesary to be a true receiving threat. FL Lee Evans Evans should be double teamed at all times in order to reduce the balls thrown his way. He will be open if we play him one on one. Our top receiver should cover the SE, letting our second receiver and the double-teamer cover Evans. SE Peerless Price Price is an average receiver. He doesn't drop the ball too much, and runs his routes well, but is very poor at third down catching. He will be a target because of our double teams on Evans. -OFFENSIVE LINE- This line is rated one of the worst in pass blocking. The best pass blocker on the line is RG Duke Preston, and he is out for the game. The line is also rated pretty poorly in run blocking as well, but our main goal is to put lots of pressure on them. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- LDE Aaron Schobel is excellent at stopping the run and good at pass-rushing. LDT Larry Tripplett is basically the same, so running to our right should be avoided. Their left side of the line is much weaker. RDE Ryan Denney is a poor pass-rusher with decent run-stopping skills, but RDT Kyle Williams is a poor run defender, and should be our main point of attack. With the right side of the defensive line excellent at run-stopping, we should avoid running towards that side. But, because of Takeo Spikes' injury, we should attack that side in the passing game. RLB Angelo Crowell is a very good pass rusher and run defender, and MLB London Fletcher is also very good in both areas. The linebacking core is solid besides the SLB because of the absence of Spikes. -SECONDARY- LCB Nate Clements Clements is an excellent run defender, but that should not come into play because he is towards our right side. He is a very good cornerback and should not be taken lightly. RCB Terrence McGee McGee is the weaker of the two CB's and should be attacked. He is also poor in run defense so runs to the outside may be a little easier. SS Donte Whitner Whitner is a very good safety and deep balls should not be thrown his way. FS Troy Vincent Vincent is not a very good safety, and is definitely the weaker of the two. Deep passes should be thrown to the left side. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Avoid throwing the ball to the middle of the field, except towards the right side. Takeo Spikes is injured and his replacement is very weak. - Avoid throwing towards LCB Nate Clements and SS Donte Whitner. They are very dangerous on that side of the field. - Attack their weak RDT by running blasts up the middle towards the left side. - Using our two main backs, Washington and Houston, we will keep fresh legs on the field. When a surge of power running is needed, Barlow will come in to move the ball forward. - Protect our QB by keeping in our TE and backs to help pick up their blitzing linebackers. DEFENSE - Protect against short, accurate passes towards FL Lee Evans. Holcolm does not have a good deep or long throw and should not be worried about. - Blitz, blitz, and blitz again. Their offensive line is very poor at pass blocking and their best linemen is injured. Take advantage of this. - For our base 3-4 package, use good run-defending CB's because of McGahee's excellent outside running. - Move #1 CB to RCB to cover Price, and use #2 and double team to cover Evans. |

Notes: Close simply does not cut it in this league. A strong first quarter led us to a 7 point lead, but the rest of the game was absolutely abysmal. Fumbles and interceptions are unacceptable. We are going to have to get our things together for the remaining three games or we will be going home early this season. That is all I have to say. Injury Report: Brad Smith, FL, is now 100%. Pete Kendall, LG, is now 100%. Shaun Ellis, LDE, is now 100%. Wade Smith, LG - Torn Calf Muscle, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Andre Dyson, LCB - Knee Bursitis, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Erik Coleman, FS - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Week 15: New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: LB Victor Hobson - Severe Wrist Sprain LB Bryan Thomas - Strained Elbow Tendon Injured: WR Jerricho Cotchery - Hip Pointer (Doubtful) RG Brandon Moore - Pulled Groin (Questionable) LG Pete Kendall - Hyperextended Knee (Probable) FS Erik Coleman - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) CB Andre Dyson - Knee Bursitis (Probable) Minnesota Vikings Out: TE Richard Owens - Reconstructive Knee Surgery K Ryan Longwell - Strained Achilles Tendon Injured: WR Bethel Johnson - Broken Toe (Questionable) TE Kim Kleinsasser - Strained Foot Ligament (Probable) LB Ben Leber - Seperated Shoulder (Probable) Minnesota Vikings Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Brad Johnson Johnson is an aging quarterback who in on the verge of 40. He still has the skills to compete in this league but they are on the decline. His accuracy is inconsistent but he has a very strong arm and can get the ball to the receiver fast. He doesn't read defenses very well but picks up blitzes well. RB Chester Taylor Taylor is an excellent third down runner and has incredible speed to the outside. He lacks power up the middle and is only decent at receiving. TE Jermaine Wiggins A terrible blocker who is a pretty good pass catching TE. FL Troy Williamson Williamson is a very dangerous receiver, but is especially a deep-pass threat. SE Billy McMullen A backup who isn't a very dangerous receiver. We should not make any big adjustments because of him. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The offensive line unit is very strong. LG Hutchinson is one of the best linemen in the league. There is no big weaknesses on the line when it comes to pass blocking. The RG, Edwards, is a liability when run blocking. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The Vikings are one of the best run stopping teams in the league. Our best bet is to run outside of our LT, towards their RDE, Erasmus James. It is going to be very difficult to establish our run game. The linebackers are very below average and are not a real threat in this game. -SECONDARY- LCB Antoine Winfield An extremely talented cornerback who should be avoided. We should put Coles up against the other CB in order to get a better matchup. RCB Cedric Griffin Another excellent cornerback. We should focus on gaining small chunks through the air and challenging their linebackers with crosses and slants. SS Darren Sharper Sharper is an excellent safety. Throwing deep could lead to turnovers. FS Dwight Smith Another excellent safety that will discourage us from throwing the ball deep. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Establishing the run is going to be extremely difficult. We should focus on attacking through the air. - When running, attack their weakest linemen, the RDE, by running outside of our LT. - Avoid throwing towards LCB Winfield. Line up Coles against opposite cornerback to get a better matchup. - Throw towards the middle of the field to attack their weak covering linebackers. DEFENSE - Use good run-stopping CB's to prevent Taylor from getting to the outside. - Double-team FL Williamson on obvious deep passing plays. |

Week 15: New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings
Post-Game Report Box Score: Week 15, 2006 played in Minneapolis, MN 68 degrees, fair, calm

Rushing Statistics
Notes: This is the kind of game that I expect to see out of our team. We got into a tough spot early in the game, but then we adjusted our gameplan, and after the first quarter, outscored the oppenent 24-3. There are two games left in the season, and if we simply concentrate on those games, prepare hard for them, and keep our focus on those two games, everything will fall into place. Today was a perfect example of executing a gameplan on offense. The Vikings have one of the best run defenses in the league, and their pass defense is also very good. They have a ton of talent on that side of the ball, and a few players on our team who usually don't play a huge rold stepped up and made some very big plays for us. To start, Chad worked so hard to prepare for this game, and he really proved it. He did have one interception, but he completed a whopping 32 of 39 passes for 226 yards. Because of the excellent secondary that Minnesota has, we concentrated heavily on attacking the middle of the field in order to create opportunities. I am very proud of TE Sean Ryan, who found himself the starter after starting TE Chris Baker went down. Today he had a huge game with 6 catches for 21 yards. It may not seem like a lot, but our gamplan was to move down the field in very short chunks. Brad Smith had a great game filling in for the injured Jerricho Cotchery as well, making 9 catches for 67 yards. In the 4th quarter when we were ahead, the running backs got an oppurtunity to drain the clock and they did an excellent job. Cedric Houston had yet another fumble today, but luckily it didn't end up hurting us too much. Washington did a good job, running the ball 13 times for 60 yards. Our defense was very weak in the beginning, allowing 150 yards in the first quarter alone. The Vikings first two drives resulted in touchdowns which is simply unacceptable. However, at the start of the 2nd quarter they really stepped it up, holding the offense to only 3 points throughout the rest of the game, and 6 out of their 9 drives after the first quarter resulted in 3 and out. Linebacker Jonathan Vilma and safety Kerry Rhodes both had big interceptions, and NT Dewayne Robertson caused an important fumble. Injury Report: Wade Smith, LG, is now 100%. Andre Dyson, LCB, is now 100%. Nick Mangold, C - Bruised Ribcage, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Dewayne Robertson, NT - Abdominal Strain, Questionable, full strength in about 1 week. Erik Coleman, FS - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Brandon Moore, RG - Pulled Groin, Questionable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Sean Ryan, TE - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Strained Elbow Tendon, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Victor Hobson, SLB - Severe Wrist Sprain, Out, full strength in about 5 weeks. Jerricho Cotchery, SE - Hip Pointer, Doubtful, full strength in 2007. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Next week's game is against the 7-7 Miami Dolphins. |

He can hurt us with his speed but as for the passing game, he can be defensed easily. He does not sense the rush very well so we should over-load his abilities and pick up sacks. He is a good third-down passes and can read the defense very well. RB Ronnie Brown Brown is a big, powerfull runner. He is very good power to the inside as well as good breakaway speed. He has average speed to the outside, but his real threat is his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. TE Randy McMichael McMichael is an all-around good TE. He blocks well and is an excellent receiving TE. Weak-side man cover should be used to guard against this threat. FL Chris Chambers Chambers will catch most balls thrown his way, but does not run his routes as sharply as he should. He is a below-average third down receiver. SE Devin Aromashodu A replacement starter, Devin is a rookie who gets downfield well, but runs routes poorly. He is not a big threat. -OFFENSIVE LINE- The Dolphins offensive line is very good at run and pass blocking. There really are no holes in this line and blitzes should be spread out across it. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- LDE Jason Taylor is one of the best DE's in the league. He is an excellent pass-rusher and is no push-over when defending the run. RDE David Bowens is not as good of a pass-rusher but is an amazing run-defender. The two DT's are very good run-stuffers. It will be difficult to get the run game going today. MLB Zach Thomas is a perrenial pro-bowler and will be a tackling machine. The two outside linebackers are both very proficient in stopping the run. -SECONDARY- LCB Will Allen Allen is a great cover corner who will cause problems for our passing game. RCB Travis Daniels A 2nd year CB who lacks the skills needed to cover our receivers. He should be attacked all day. SS Yeremiah Bell With the starting SS doubtful, we will most likely see Bell replace him this game. Bell is a fairly good SS but should be tested throughout the game. FS Travares Tillman A similar player to Bell, he is a very average player and should we should attempt to pick on him deep through the game. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - The run game will be difficult to establish. We should attempt to establish the run but attack them through the air most of the game. - Attack their weak RCB Daniels, LCB Allen is very talented and it will be dangerous to throw towards his side. - Attack deep early, and then occasionaly through the game. DEFENSE: - Use man-coverage to prevent long passes from Culpepper. - Blitz heavily. Culpepper does not sense the rush well and has poor accuracy. |

Notes: This is exactly the kind of thing that we can't do. We had a chance to put ourselves at the top of the AFC, and give ourselves a good chance to enter the playoffs and we put a serious damper on that hope. We had a 14 point lead going into the 4th quarter and then our defense completely failed. This loss is on the inabilty for our defense to hold strong in the 4th quarter. This was some our defensive player's chances to prove that they deserve a place on this team, and some of them completely proved to me that they don't belong on the team. Injury Report: Nick Mangold, C, is now 100%. Dewayne Robertson, NT, is now 100%. Erik Coleman, FS - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Sean Ryan, TE - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Strained Elbow Tendon, Probable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Andre Dyson, LCB - Hyperextended Elbow, Out, full strength in about 3 weeks. Cedric Houston, RB - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 4 weeks. Victor Hobson, SLB - Severe Wrist Sprain, Doubtful, full strength in about 4 weeks. Jerricho Cotchery, SE - Hip Pointer, Questionable, full strength in 2007. Brandon Moore, RG - Pulled Groin, Doubtful, full strength in 2007. James Dearth, TE - Bruised Sternum, Probable, full strength in 2007. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Chad Pennington, QB - Strained Hamstring, Questionable, return to full strength unknown. Next week's game is against the 10-5 Oakland Raiders. () |

Week 17: Oakland Raiders at New York Jets
Pre-Game Notes New York Jets Out: CB Andre Dyson - Hyperextended Elbow Injured: WR Jerricho Cotchery - Hip Pointer (Questionable) RG Brandon Moore - Pulled Groin (Doubtful) FS Erik Coleman - Knee Tendiitis (Probable) TE Sean Ryan -Sprained Thumb (Probable) LB Bryan Thomas - Strained Elbow Tension (Probable) TE James Dearth - Bruised Sternum (Probable) LB Victor Hobson - Severe Wrist Sprain (Doubtful) QB Chad Pennington - Strained Hamstring (Questionable) RB Cedrice Houston - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) Oakland Raiders Out: LT Marko Cavka - Seperated Shoulder Injured: RB Justin Fargas - Sprained Knee (Questionable) RT Roderick Green - Severe Wrist Sprain (Quesionable) DT Tommy Kelly - Severe Wrist Sprain (Questionable) SS Michael Huff - Dislocated Shoulder (Questionable) WR Randy Moss - Strained Lateral Knee Ligament (Probable) DE Derrick Burgess - Elbow Bursitis (Probable) LB Kirk Morrison - Bruised Sternum (Probable) WR Kevin McMahan - Knee Tendinitis (Probable) Oakland Scouting: -OFEENSIVE BACKFIELD- QB Andrew Walter Walter is a second year player who is developing into a pretty good quarterback. He has pretty good skills when it comes to short passes but isn't as good throwing long passes, even though he tends to throw longer passes. He is an excellent third-down passer, but doesn't sense the rush well. RB LaMont Jordan A former Jet who doesn't have any glaring strengths or weaknesses. He is an average runner. TE Jason Pociask Another former Jet who was released after training camp, Jason is a rookie who has not developed into anything special yet. He is average and has no glaring strengths. He is a terrible third-down receiver. FL Randy Moss A game changing receiver. Has excellent speed deep but does drop a few balls. We need to be careful of him deep. SE Jerry Porter Another deep threat, but better hands than Moss. His other skills do not compare, however. -OFFENSIVE LINE- Oakland has an impressive left side of the line, but the right side, especially the right tackle, is extremely weak and we should pick up a lot of sacks by blitzing heavily. -DEFENSIVE FRONT- The defensive line shares the same quality as the offensive line. The left side, especially the left DT, Warren Sapp, is very good. The right side, however, is not very good. They stop the run well but bring virtually no pass-rush. We should put our strongest pass blockers on the right side. Oakland has a very impressive linebacking core who stop the run very well. It will be difficult to establish the run against them. -SECONDARY- LCB Nnamdi Asomugha He is excellent in man to man defense and is an incredible tackler, and will bring some of our players down with a big thump. He also can make a lot of picks because of his good hands. RCB Stanford Routt A corner who has better bump and run skills than the LCB. He is not as much of a big hitter and won't make as many picks. SS Derrick Gibson Gibson is a poor safety who we shouldn't have to worry about. FS Stuart Schweigert A very good safety who may cause problems when throwing the ball deep. We should aviod attacking him. Gameplan: OFFENSE: - Put our strongest pass blockers on the right side of the o-line. - Run outside of our left tackle towards their weak right end. - Be careful when attacking deep. The FS is very good. - Stay away from throwing deep against the LCB - Stay away from throwing short towards the RCB. DEFENSE: - Watch the deep pass to both of their deep threat receivers. - Blitz against their right side of the offensive line, especially the right tackle. |

Notes: Unfortunately, we won this game but other games didn't go in our favor. We will end the season with a 9-7 record, which is something to be very proud of. We will improve this off-season and if we keep up the hard work and dedication we will reach our goals. As for the game, it was a strange one. There were a ton of yards from both teams but neither team was able to finish off drives, and both kickers had very bad days. Running back Cedric Houston led our offense and had an impressive game with 106 yards on 19 carries. The passing game never really got going with only 101 yards through the air. The defense created a lot of pressure and got 7 sacks but we also let up a lot of big plays. We will discuss more about our performance in our end of season report, coming soon. Injury Report: Erik Coleman, FS, is now 100%. Sean Ryan, TE - Sprained Thumb, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Bryan Thomas, WLB - Strained Elbow Tendon, Probable, full strength in about 1 week. Justin McCareins, FL - Separated Shoulder, Out, full strength in about 2 weeks. Andre Dyson, LCB - Hyperextended Elbow, Questionable, full strength in about 2 weeks. Cedric Houston, RB - Knee Tendinitis, Probable, full strength in about 3 weeks. Jerricho Cotchery, SE - Hip Pointer, Questionable, full strength in 2007. Brandon Moore, RG - Pulled Groin, Doubtful, full strength in 2007. Victor Hobson, SLB - Severe Wrist Sprain, Doubtful, full strength in 2007. James Dearth, TE - Bruised Sternum, Probable, full strength in 2007. Chris Baker, TE - ACL Damage to the Knee, Out, full strength in 2007. Chad Pennington, QB - Strained Hamstring, Questionable, return to full strength unknown. |
