OMEGA 24 (Southern Asia)

Middle Heavyweight Match
#4 Denbe Ekiguchi (7-14-1) vs. #2 Norman Pike (13-7)
Ekiguchi has a 24lb weight advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Denbe Ekiguchi via T.K.O.

Round 1
Ekiguchi doesn't exactly disguise his intentions for this round, going right to the center and motioning for Pike to come and trade blows. Pike wisely keeps back for the time being, content to throw long-range jabs. Ekiguchi isn't quite as content though, as he begins to stalk Pike. They meet near the ropes. Pike hits a nice jab, then goes to clinch. Ekiguchi stops that with a powerful right hand to the body, then a fizzing left hook that glances off the side of the head. An attempt at a knock out right hand finds nothing but gloves. It is clear that Ekiguchi believes that he has the power to get a knock out here, his game plan appears to be to look for the one punch finish. Pike is trying to keep moving, to not let Ekiguchi get set to throw a bomb. Ekiguchi is controlling this round by virtue of the knock out threat, as Pike is being forced to fight somewhat defensively. Ekiguchi throws another big punch, narrowly missing, but does score with a follow up jab, landing just above the right eye. Pike returns fire with a pair of jabs, both finding gloves. Time begins to tick away. It hasn't been the most exciting round, but Ekiguchi has controlled it and managed to land the better shots. End of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Ekiguchi by 10-9.

Round 2
Pike starts strongly, immediately rushing in for a takedown. Ekiguchi got taken by surprise a little, but wrestles his way free of the grapple and pulls to safety. Ekiguchi doesn't hang around for a second attempt, he uses a looping left to set himself up to come in close and score with a series of strikes, two or three nice body shots included. Pike covers up, throwing the occasional jab as a counter. Ekiguchi goes for a vicious uppercut, but gets pulled into a clinch. Pike goes for a takedown via a trip, but Ekiguchi defends it. Another trip attempt, another failure. Pike pushes Ekiguchi up against the ropes and tries to wrestle him to the ground, but Ekiguchi keeps his balance and sprawls to stop it. Ekiguchi gets in a hard right hand to the side of the face, taking advantage of the fact that Pike was leaning in too far. Ekiguchi reverses so that Pike is against the ropes. They remain clinched, with nothing more than minor strikes being thrown, for a long time. The referee finally breaks them apart and gets them back to the center. Ekiguchi throws a kick, waist-high, but Pike avoids it. That could have been used for a takedown attempt if Pike had been quicker and caught it. Ekiguchi hits two or three punches in a row, stinging the gloves of Pike. The round draws to a close. It'll be interesting to see where the judges go with this, as Ekiguchi clearly got the better strikes in throughout the round, but Pike did probably show more aggression by virtue of his almost constant attempts to get the takedown. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Ekiguchi.

Round 3
The round starts. They touch gloves. Pike throws a rapid-fire series of punches, forcing Ekiguchi to back off. Ekiguchi throws a nice kick that thumps into the rib cage. Another kick is thrown, this time aimed at the head, but Pike sees it coming and steps back. Ekiguchi advances and they meet in the center. Pike ducks a right hand, scores with a left to the gut. Ekiguchi throws a one-two combination, neither connecting, but it does allow him to follow up with a stinging kick to the ribs. A big red mark has appeared there. Pike bursts forward and goes for a big swing, Ekiguchi ducks under it, hits a right to the chest, then unloads another kick. This one hits the thigh, causing Pike to noticeably wince. It may have caught the very top of the knee judging from the replays. Pike tries to come in to get a measure of revenge, but is met with some low kicks that make sure that he can't get close enough to throw any bombs. Ekiguchi's impressively sharp kicking game is hurting Pike and allowing him to take firm control of this round. There's not much time left, and Pike is going to have to do something special to win this round now. He doesn't, as time expires without anything interesting happening. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Ekiguchi by 10-9. All three judges give a score of 30-27 to Denbe Ekiguchi.

Denbe Ekiguchi ($600) beat Norman Pike ($800) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (DUD)

Light Heavyweight Match
#4 Leandro Piquet (7-4) vs. #1 Aleksei Chekhov (10-3)
Chekhov has the advantage while standing with his striking ability against the weak chin of Piquet.
Blurcat Prediction: Aleksei Chekhov via knock out.

Round 1
The two fighters circle. A series of looping punches from Chekhov forces Piquet back up against the ropes, and he has to cover up to withstand the three strikes that follow. No real damage caused, but Chekhov is aggressively chasing this match. A hook finds the body and Piquet clinches. They almost lose their balance as they jockey for position, Piquet gets in a couple of knees when they regain their footing. Chekhov seems to be trying to break the clinch, it's Piquet who is holding it tight, perhaps hoping to calm the energetic start that Chekhov had. The referee finally does break them up, after nearly a full minute of inactivity. Piquet scores with a low kick to the outside of the knee, then backs off. Those will take their toll. Chekhov responds with a right hand that hits gloves, a left hook to the body that stings Piquet, then throws a spectacular head kick that connects! Piquet was backing off after those two punches and didn't see it coming, he goes sailing backward, his body entirely limp. Chekhov has knocked Piquet out cold with one brutally powerful kick. Chekhov wins via first round knock out at 4:30.

Aleksei Chekhov ($4,400) beat Leandro Piquet ($1,000) by Knock Out in 4:30 of round 1. (1 star)

Middle Heavyweight Match
Randall Donnelly (3-1) vs. #1 Dave Lennon (8-3)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Dave Lennon via knock out.

Round 1
Lennon throws two high punches, then steps in for a hook to the body. Nice combination, but Donnelly defended with ease. They clinch up next to the ropes, but a short struggle only ends with them separating and coming back in. Donnelly misses an uppercut and is off balance, which allows Lennon to get the takedown. Side mount. Lennon is looking for an armbar, but Donnelly is defending it well. Donnelly gets a nice elbow in, that caught Lennon by surprise. Lennon fires off several elbows to the ribs, and Donnelly is left gasping for air. Those were hard, there's a big red patch where they hit. Lennon takes the left arm, Donnelly couldn't defend it any longer. The armbar is applied, there's no way out. Lennon wins by tap out. Official time of the armbar submission is 1:54 of the first round.

Dave Lennon ($5,000) beat Randall Donnelly ($200) by Submission in 1:54 of round 1. (2 stars)

Heavyweight Title Main Event
#2 Bob Dozier (9-3) vs. #1 Rav Kapur (9-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Rav Kapur via knock out.

Round 1
The round begins, and it is Dozier who starts better, energetically bounding straight into action by throwing a three-punch combination and a scything leg kick. Kapur defended all four blows well, but is forced to be on the backfoot right from the word go. Dozier works for an angle, coming in from the left hand side with a high right hand. Kapur ducks under it and nestles a stiff jab in the solar plexus. It doesn't seem to slow Dozier down much though, as he swiftly turns and hits a crisp left to the side of the head, followed almost instantly by a mid-level kick that smacks above the hip of Kapur. Interesting first minute of action, Dozier is looking particularly sharp. Kapur tries to turn the momentum by advancing quickly and driving Dozier back against the ropes with a series of jabs and hooks, and they end up clinched. Kapur tries a knee from that position, but it is blocked. Dozier scores with two sharp blows to the ribs, and then they break away from each other. They both seem to be looking for an opening, and it's creating a stalemate at the moment. They square up to each other in the center. Dozier throws a head fake and comes in from low down to hit a rising shot that catches Kapur on the side of the head. Kapur got a shot in too though, although it hit the shoulder rather than the head. Time is running down; Dozier has probably done enough to win the round, but it has turned quite scrappy since the clinch against the ropes, both will probably be slightly unhappy with that. Kapur tries a late surge, coming in hard and fast with a leading left, but Dozier defends it well and scores the only meaningful shot of the exchange with a crisp left hand. End of round 1. Blurcat.com scores it 10-9 for Dozier.

Round 2
The two fighters circle. A series of looping punches from Dozier forces Kapur back up against the ropes, and he has to cover up to withstand the three strikes that follow. No real damage caused, but Dozier is aggressively chasing this match. A hook finds the body and Kapur clinches. They almost lose their balance as they jockey for position, Kapur gets in a couple of knees when they regain their footing. Dozier seems to be trying to break the clinch, it's Kapur who is holding it tight, perhaps hoping to calm the energetic start that Dozier had. The referee finally does break them up, after nearly a full minute of inactivity. Kapur hits a solid left, then a right. Dozier felt both of them, and backs off a little. Kapur charges right in to follow up though, and unleashes a powerful right hook, and Dozier took it flush on the chin! Kapur doesn't even bother following up on that, because Dozier was out cold from the instant that that hit. Incredible punch. The official time of the knock out is 4:54 of round 2. Rav Kapur retains the OMEGA Heavyweight title.

Rav Kapur ($5,300) beat Bob Dozier ($3,000) by Knock Out in 4:54 of round 2 to retain the OMEGA Heavyweight title. (2 stars)

The announced attendance was 522 for an estimated live gate of $31,080. The fighters earned a total of $20,300. The general feeling amongst the fans was that the show was a good one. The show has resulted in the promotion gaining popularity in one region.

OMEGA 25 (South Eastern Asia)

Lightweight Match
Darin Blood (2-0) vs. Dennis Hayes (0-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage. Hayes is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Darin Blood via T.K.O.

Round 1
Tentative start to the round, the fighters are circling. Blood throws out a couple of range-finding jabs, but they aren't anything that will trouble Hayes. Kick to the thigh from Hayes, but it lacked power. They tangle near the ropes, and the referee has to come in and pull them apart. They circle. Blood tries to work inside, but leaves himself open and gets taken down. Guard. Hayes hits a few tentative punches, but doesn't have anything on them. Blood manages to turn the tables and ends up in the guard, Hayes let his dominant position slip too easily. Blood rains down punches, but Hayes defends them well. Blood gets out of the guard and into side control. Big elbow to the face. Hayes caught that flush. Another big elbow, followed by a third. Hayes is looking groggy. Blood hits a fourth huge elbow, and the referee has seen enough, the match is over. Hayes might have some complaints about that, but the elbows were clearly connecting, and he didn't manage to do anything to stop any of them. Blood wins via first round TKO at 1:34.

Darin Blood ($400) beat Dennis Hayes ($100) by T.K.O. in 1:34 of round 1. (1 star)

Light Heavyweight Match
Bill Brown (0-1) vs. Kit Giannakopoulos (0-0)
Brown has the advantage while standing with his striking ability. Giannakopoulos lacks mobility.
Blurcat Prediction: Bill Brown via knock out.

Round 1
Giannakopoulos doesn't hold back, starting by immediately shooting in for a takedown. Brown sprawls and keeps him at bay. Giannakopoulos pushes harder, but Brown has the much better position and manages to flip him over, putting Giannakopoulos on his back. Brown gets sucked into his guard though. Brown passes guard and gets into side control, but it's an awkward position; Giannakopoulos has the entire right hand side of his body up against the ropes, and both his legs wrapped around Brown's left arm. Brown's attacking options are fairly limited. He uses a couple of back fists to strike away at the face, but Giannakopoulos covers up to defend them. Brown tries to pin down one of Giannakopoulos's arms and bring his legs around to trap them fully, but Giannakopoulos uses his free arm to stop that from happening. The ground battle enters a stalemate, as Brown finds himself unable to do any real damage other than occasional strikes, which he doesn't have the leverage to get much power behind, with virtually no chance of gaining a submission thanks to his left arm being trapped. The referee eventually stands them up, and the time expires before anything interesting can happen with them standing. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com scores it 10-9 for Brown.

Round 2
Flat start to the round, thirty seconds of circling without any actual contact. The fans begin to get a bit restless. Giannakopoulos is the first to try something, stringing together a couple of jabs and a low kick, but Brown blocked the first two and avoided the latter. A lunge from Giannakopoulos is meant to set up a punch, but it's clumsy and just leaves him off balance. Brown is quick to react, and gets a great shot to the side of the face in before Giannakopoulos can cover up. That landed above the left eye and has left an ugly red mark. No cut, but that will start to swell and could give Giannakopoulos some problems later on. Giannakopoulos moves in for a right hook, but takes a hard kick to the knee, then is forced to retreat so as not to get caught with the two right hands that follow. Brown is staying on it though, and glances three shots off the gloves of Giannakopoulos before they wind up in a clinch. That punch above the eye, or maybe the mistake that led to it, seems to have completely thrown Giannakopoulos off, since that moment he has been comprehensively out-struck and is now in danger of losing this round. They struggle in the clinch, neither fighter managing a great deal more than minor blows. Giannakopoulos goes for a trip, but Brown cleverly spins out of it and the two fighters are back to circling. Not a great round for purists, it has all been a bit disjointed, but that one shot from Brown may prove decisive. As the round comes to an end, they wind up back in another clinch, with nothing coming of it. The second round is over. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Brown.

Round 3
Slow start to the round. Not much happens before they wind up clinched together, struggling for supremacy. Giannakopoulos uses a trip to make a takedown, but doesn't go down himself, instead staying back. He pushes the raised legs away and dives in to get side control, but Brown scrambles and manages to get up, pushing Giannakopoulos down to the ground. Brown ends up on top, in guard. The round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Brown by 10-9. Bill Brown wins, with a score of 30-27 from two judges, 29-28 from the other.

Bill Brown ($400) beat Kit Giannakopoulos ($200) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (1 star)

Heavyweight Match
Aleksander Ivanov (1-0) vs. #6 Mugur Boc (5-2)
Ivanov has the advantage while standing. Boc has the advantage on the ground.
Blurcat Prediction: Mugur Boc via T.K.O.

Round 1
Boc starts fast, coming out almost immediately with a three punch combination. None of them get through, and Ivanov manages to squeeze a jab of his own through and score just above the left cheek. They exchange a flurry of blows right in the center, it's difficult to see who got the best of it, and both of them retreat a few steps to recover. Good start to the round, early indications are that this is going to be all about the striking, neither fighter has even hinted at going for a takedown. Ivanov uses a low kick to set up a nice right hand, and Boc is forced back against the ropes. Ivanov picks his shots and gets a big punch to the body in. Boc uses a couple of looping punches to make Ivanov keep back, but it doesn't last for long, as Ivanov bursts forward and hits two big right hands, taking a counter punch to the body though, and they wind up in a clinch. They exchange weak-looking blows from that position, before the referee grows tired of the inactivity and breaks them apart. Boc scores with a low kick. Ivanov throws out a few jabs, nothing too dangerous though, Boc easily avoided them. Ivanov unwinds a right hook that narrowly misses. That will be the last action of the round though. The first round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Ivanov by 10-9.

Round 2
Ivanov leads with the right hand to set up a low kick, Boc deals with it well. They clinch, but only for a few seconds before it gets broken. Both throw stiff jabs at the same time, neither connects properly. Back to the clinch. It has been a disjointed start to the round, the flow hasn't quite developed properly. Boc uses a knee to the ribs before backing Ivanov up against the ropes. Right hand from Ivanov connects though, that was well timed. Boc breaks the clinch and backs off. That was sloppy on his part, Ivanov was basically gifted a free shot. Three quick jabs from Boc sting the gloves, then a crashing hook to the body finds its mark. Good recovery. Ivanov fires off a low kick again, but it's well wide. Ivanov clinches with Boc and pushes him back against the ropes. Boc gets in a knee, but a second attempt gets caught. Ivanov uses that for leverage, and with only one leg remaining, Boc has no base left with which to stop Ivanov drilling him with a big slam! Boc landed hard, but pulled guard, and will be thankful that he landed next to the ropes, which can be used to his advantage. Boc is forced to cover up as Ivanov starts hammering away with enormous strikes from the guard, trying to simply power the shots through. Some do cause some damage, landing as Boc tries unsuccessfully to throw some counters. Ivanov transitions to side control without any issues and starts finding the punches down again, this time with more leverage and therefore more power. Boc tries to defend them, but a lot of them are getting through. The referee finally has enough and calls an end to the match, feeling that Boc was getting overwhelmed. The official time is 3:32.

Aleksander Ivanov ($200) beat Mugur Boc ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 3:32 of round 2. (2 stars)

Light Heavyweight Main Event
#7 Ebizo Fujishima (9-12-2) vs. #4 Richard Smith (11-7)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Ebizo Fujishima via T.K.O.

Round 1
The fighters come together right in the center. Fujishima throws out a jab, but Smith bobs out of the way and uses a right hand to glance a blow off the side of the ribs in response. Smith works an angle and storms in suddenly with three crisp jabs and a looping overhand punch, Fujishima covered up quickly but at least one of the jabs hit home. Smith is making Fujishima look sluggish in comparison, such is the speed and crispness with which he is delivering strikes. Fujishima hits a low kick before back-pedalling to avoid a clubbing blow. Smith looks to be working an angle. They meet in the center to exchange a flurry of strikes that gets the crowd on their feet. Smith got slightly the better of it, he definitely snuck through a right hand that rocked Fujishima slightly. Fujishima initiates a clinch, and the action grinds to a halt. Fujishima looks out of ideas, he is being repeatedly lured into these exchange of strikes, but Smith is clearly winning them. Fujishima needs to find some way to deal with them. Not much time left in this round. The referee separates them. Smith tries a speculative high kick, but Fujishima saw it coming and was well out of range by the time it came. Fujishima tries to work an angle, but Smith is having none of it and fires off a straight right hand to keep him from stepping in. Comfortable round for Smith, he will probably be disappointed not to have done more damage given his dominance of the striking in this round. End of round 1. Blurcat.com gives that one to Smith by 10-9.

Round 2
They meet in the center. Fujishima hits a nice jab, a second misses. Smith steps in close and hits a brutal body shot, causing Fujishima to back up quickly. That was a really powerful shot. Smith stalks Fujishima, flicking occasional jabs. It looks like Smith wants to stand and trade punches with Fujishima. Smith gets within striking distance and throws a bomb of a right hand, narrowly missing. Fujishima fires off a raking left hook in response, but that is off target too. They meet and exchange punches. Fujishima goes for the body, but gets tagged with a left hand to the side of the head. Fujishima is rattled by it, but doesn't step off, instead throwing a couple of crisp jabs. Smith throws another big punch, this time thundering it into Fujishima's shoulder. They clinch. So far it looks like Fujishima simply can't live with the power that Smith has in his hands, you get the sense that if this continues, Fujishima is going to wind up knocked out sooner or later. The clinch is broken, but within thirty seconds they are right back in it, this time leaning against the ropes. By the time that is broken, the round only has a few seconds left. End of round 2. Blurcat.com scores it 10-9 for Smith.

Round 3
Fujishima and Smith circle to start. Smith throws a couple of looping punches, neither hitting, while Fujishima sits back, waiting for an opportunity to attack. Smith comes in closer, looking to unload with a right hand; that misses, and it allows Fujishima to slip a nice jab in, catching Smith just underneath the right eye. Fujishima comes in and scores with a straight left, then bounces a right hand off the body. Smith misses with a right cross, then backs off. Fujishima stalks him, forcing Smith back up against the ropes. Fujishima doesn't rush in, instead standing back and throwing the occasional punch. Smith throws a big left hand in response, but it misses by quite a margin. Fujishima pounces, hitting lefts and rights. Smith covers up from the first two punches, then clinches up to prevent any more coming in. They're up against the ropes, Fujishima in the dominant position. They remain that way as the time ticks down. Fujishima throws the occasional knee, but can't really do much with his arms tied up like that. The referee finally tells them to break, and they return to the center. That clinch ate up a lot of time though. Smith comes in hard and fast, bobbing and weaving, and throws a couple of big shots. Fujishima parries them with his gloves and scores with a well-executed counter punch, hitting just above the eye. They come in close again, throwing punches, but wind up clinched again. The time expires with them like that, and that round will definitely go down in Fujishima's favour. The third round is over. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Fujishima. All three judges give a score of 29-28 in favour of Richard Smith.

Richard Smith ($4,000) beat Ebizo Fujishima ($2,500) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (DUD)

The announced attendance was 167 for an estimated live gate of $9,940. The fighters earned a total of $10,300. The show didn't sit well with a lot of the fans, who were very underwhelmed with the show as a whole. The show has resulted in the promotion gaining popularity in one region.

OMEGA 26 (Eastern Asia)

Heavyweight Match
#2 Bob Dozier (9-4) vs. #7 Henrik Berg (10-16)
Dozier has the adavantage while standing or on the ground.
Blurcat Prediction: Bob Dozier via decision.

Round 1
The two fighters meet in the center with an exchange of jabs, but neither gets anything but gloves or air. They go right into a clinch, with only a few seconds of the match gone. Berg gets a knee to the ribs in, but it wasn't particularly hard. They break. They are circling, then come in close. Both fighters are tentatively looking for the chance to strike. Berg is the first to go for it, throwing a three-punch combination. Dozier covered up well, taking very little damage. Berg goes to throw a bomb, but gets clipped with a right hand before it can connect. He felt that. Dozier steps in and throws a bomb of his own, and it crunches into the side of the cheek of Berg, who goes down! Replays show the shock wave passing through his entire body as that powerful punch connected. What a strike! Dozier wins this by a brutally clean knock out. Dozier wins via knock out at 1:26 of the first round.

#6 Jesse Singh (6-8) vs. #2 Harvey Loeb (11-5)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage while standing or on the ground. Singh has a 25lb weight advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Harvey Loeb via T.K.O.

Round 1
Slow start; nearly a full minute of circling, occasional fakes, and long-range jabs. Neither fighter is creating much. Singh works an angle, but takes a low kick to the shin when he advances. They clinch, and end up with Loeb backed up against the ropes. Singh gets a couple of right hands to the body, but his attempts at knee strikes are deflected by Loeb, who uses his legs well to defend. Singh pulls free and takes a step back, then powers in a right hand. Loeb gets out the way, ducks under a second right hand, and backs up to the center. Singh follows, and we're back to circling. Uninspiring action so far, they've both been fairly devoid of inspiration. Singh hits a couple of right hands, both hitting gloves, then a left hand to the body that connected. That was the best shot of the round so far. Loeb tags him with a flicked jab to the cheek, but it had virtually no power on it. Loeb leans in to a looping left, but it puts him off balance and it's only at the last second that he gets his chin out of the way of a vicious right cross that comes back. If that had hit, we may have had a knock out. Time runs out with them standing, circling again. End of the round. Blurcat.com scores 10-9 Singh.

Round 2
Singh throws the first punch of the round, a high searching jab that didn't carry a great deal of threat with it. Loeb throws a one-two combination in return, neither connecting, then steps in and delivers a hard kick to the outside of the thigh. Singh steps back, throwing a right hand as he does to buy himself space. They circle, then move in again to exchange strikes, neither fighter getting a clear advantage. They come together again and the same result. It has become something of a stalemate at the moment. They come together to exchange strikes for the third time, and this time they wind up in a clinch. Loeb hits a knee to the ribs. A couple of shots to the back from Singh. They struggle all the way back, with Singh ending up backed up against the ropes. Loeb hits another knee, but there wasn't much power behind it. Singh stomps downward onto his foot. Singh manages to reverse their positions, but that only lasts about thirty seconds before it gets reversed once more. Loeb gets an arm free and tries to throw a big shot to the cheek, Singh ducks under it and gets the arm back under control. The referee finally breaks them up, and we're back to where we started. Singh tries a high kick to start, but Loeb saw it coming and easily avoids it. They come back together in the center, and it's Loeb who gets the first sustained attack of the round, hitting two hard body shots and a jab that caught Singh on the nose. Singh hits a straight right, enough to stop Loeb from following up any further. The time expires with them standing. Not a great round for either of them or the crowd, it was very scrappy. End of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Loeb by 10-9.

Round 3
An exchange of jabs doesn't go anywhere. Loeb fakes a kick, then darts in to score with a straight left before backing out fast to avoid a left-right combination from Singh. They clinch, and Singh winds up backed against the ropes. A couple of minor blows get exchanged, but it's turned into a bit of a stalemate. Loeb tries to push Singh back, but can't. The referee waits a while, then separates them and gets them to resume. Loeb forces Singh back against the ropes and comes in close to try and unload. Singh pushes him away with a shove, palm across the face, and Loeb loses his balance and is dumped onto the ground. Singh leaps into action to follow up. Singh has a good position, half-straddling the upper body of Loeb, and can pick his shots. A hard right thunders into the left cheek of Loeb, and a left hits the same spot. Loeb turns his hips, looking to try and shake Singh loose, but gets turned over completely and gives up his back! Singh starts punching again, driving fists into the side of Loeb's face. Loeb is trapped, and can barely cover up. A few more punches connect, one vicious one to the ear looking particularly nasty, and that's enough for the referee to pull Singh away. Official time of the TKO is 4:26 of the third round.

Jesse Singh ($5,000) beat Harvey Loeb ($3,000) by T.K.O. in 4:26 of round 3. (1 star)

Heavyweight Match
#3 Manol Sirakov (6-8) vs. #5 Stjepan Andric (9-7)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage. Andric is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Manol Sirakov via T.K.O.

Round 1
They circle to start, both throwing a few tentative jabs. An uppercut misses its mark from Andric, providing the first moment of real action. Sirakov hits a nice combination of body shots to set up a big right hook, but Andric side-stepped to safety. A few punches get thrown, but there's a lack of real action to talk about. Sirakov is being slightly the more aggressive, but neither fighter is really going for it. They come together again and exchange punches, but no big shots get through, and they end up clinched for a while. The referee separates them, but the time is ticking away and this round looks like it's going to the judges. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Sirakov by 10-9.

Round 2
Andric isn't hanging around, right from the start Sirakov is forced onto the back foot by four hard shots, although none of them get through the gloves. Sirakov circles, steps in, then unloads a combination of punches, but Andric weaves out of the way and scores with a beauty of a right hand, glancing above the right eye. That was some lovely counter punching from Andric, the timing had to be perfect and it was. Sirakov is looking a bit frustrated, and uncorks a ragged-looking uppercut that missed by several inches. Andric really should have taken advantage of that mistake, Sirakov was wide open for a moment there. Andric hits a high kick, catching Sirakov on the shoulder. Jab from Sirakov finds the mark, but it didn't have much power behind it as he was leaning backward too much. Andric fires off a couple of straight punches in response, but only finds gloves. They clinch, and the fight enters a lull. Sirakov scores with a knee from the clinch, it landed around the hip area of Andric, who responds with a couple of shots to the ribs. The time runs out with them still clinched though. The 2nd round ends. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Andric.

Round 3
Sirakov works an angle and comes in from the side of Andric, getting two good jabs in before a ragged left misses by quite a margin. Andric hits a low kick to back Sirakov against the ropes, then works the body with a series of short punches. Sirakov fights out and the action returns to the center. Andric throws a stinging jab, landing just above the left eye. Sirakov steps in and fires off one of his own, but Andric bobs out of the way and scores with a pair of solid shots to the body. Sirakov turns and swings, just as Andric also unloads...and it's Andric who connects first! Sirakov's hands drop and he is on rubbery legs. Andric follows up with a beauty of a right hand, and that drops Sirakov. The referee doesn't even wait for Andric to dive in to finish, he's seen enough, Sirakov is clearly on Dream Street. This bout is over! Andric wins via 3rd round TKO with the official time being 2:26.

Stjepan Andric ($5,000) beat Manol Sirakov ($3,000) by T.K.O. in 2:26 of round 3. (1 star)

Light Heavyweight Title Main Event
#1 Aleksei Chekhov (11-3) vs. #3 Kendall Tracey (7-1)
Tracey has the advantage on the ground with his strikes and submissions.
Blurcat Prediction: Kendall Tracey via knock out.

Round 1
They circle to start, both throwing a few tentative jabs. An uppercut misses its mark from Chekhov, providing the first moment of real action. Tracey hits a nice combination of body shots to set up a big right hook, but Chekhov side-stepped to safety. A few punches get thrown, but there's a lack of real action to talk about. Tracey is being slightly the more aggressive, but neither fighter is really going for it. They come together again and exchange punches, but no big shots get through, and they end up clinched for a while. The referee separates them, but the time is ticking away and this round looks like it's going to the judges. The round is over. Blurcat.com scores it 10-9 for Tracey.

Round 2
The round starts slowly, with both fighters circling, tentatively throwing out the occasional jab. Chekhov is the first to make a positive move, stepping in to throw a right hand, although he probably wishes that he hadn't, as Tracey picks him off with a crisp jab to the cheek. Chekhov throws a wild punch as a counter, but Tracey ducks and backs off out of range. They meet again in the center for an exchange of punches. Chekhov gets a clubbing blow to the side of the head in, but takes a hard shot to the stomach in return. The early pattern seems to be that Chekhov is looking for big punches, Tracey is happy to avoid them and use quick counter punches instead. They clinch up, and Chekhov manages to back Tracey up against the ropes. Chekhov takes a half step backward and throws a big right hand to the head, but Tracey ducks under at the last second, scores with a pair of punches to the gut, then darts out of trouble before Chekhov can unload. Chekhov may need to think about changing tactics, Tracey is looking far sharper in these striking battles, and is beginning to control the pace and tempo of the round. Chekhov fakes a right hand, then shoots out a low kick, catching Tracey on the thigh. Tracey presses forward for the first time, getting in close and using a couple of jabs to the body. Chekhov gets a nice left hook in, glancing off the gloves, and then clinches up. Time ticks away and the round ends just a few seconds after the referee separates them. End of round 2. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Tracey.

Round 3
The fighters come together right in the center. Chekhov throws out a jab, but Tracey bobs out of the way and uses a right hand to glance a blow off the side of the ribs in response. Tracey works an angle and storms in suddenly with three crisp jabs and a looping overhand punch, Chekhov covered up quickly but at least one of the jabs hit home. Tracey is making Chekhov look sluggish in comparison, such is the speed and crispness with which he is delivering strikes. Chekhov hits a low kick before back-pedalling to avoid a clubbing blow. Chekhov throws out a few jabs, nothing too dangerous though, Tracey easily avoided them. They meet in the center to exchange a flurry of strikes that gets the crowd on their feet. Tracey got slightly the better of it, he definitely snuck through a right hand that rocked Chekhov slightly. Chekhov initiates a clinch, and the action grinds to a halt. Chekhov looks out of ideas, he is being repeatedly lured into these exchange of strikes, but Tracey is clearly winning them. Chekhov needs to find some way to deal with them. Not much time left in this round. The referee separates them. Tracey tries a speculative high kick, but Chekhov saw it coming and was well out of range by the time it came. Chekhov tries to work an angle, but Tracey is having none of it and fires off a straight right hand to keep him from stepping in. Comfortable round for Tracey, he will probably be disappointed not to have done more damage given his dominance of the striking in this round. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Tracey by 10-9.

Round 4
Tracey isn't hanging around, right from the start Chekhov is forced onto the back foot by four hard shots, although none of them get through the gloves. Chekhov circles, steps in, then unloads a combination of punches, but Tracey weaves out of the way and scores with a beauty of a right hand, glancing above the right eye. That was some lovely counter punching from Tracey, the timing had to be perfect and it was. Chekhov is looking a bit frustrated, and uncorks a ragged-looking uppercut that missed by several inches. Tracey really should have taken advantage of that mistake, Chekhov was wide open for a moment there. Tracey hits a high kick, catching Chekhov on the shoulder. Jab from Chekhov finds the mark, but it didn't have much power behind it as he was leaning backward too much. Tracey fires off a couple of straight punches in response, but only finds gloves. They clinch, and the fight enters a lull. Chekhov scores with a knee from the clinch, it landed around the hip area of Tracey, who responds with a couple of shots to the ribs. The time runs out with them still clinched though. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com has it down as 10-9 Tracey.

Round 5
Tracey starts with a high kick, but Chekhov was well out of range. About thirty seconds pass without any contact, and the crowd become a little restless. Tracey steps in and exchanges strikes with Chekhov, neither fighter gets a particular advantage from it. Chekhov parries away a nice right hand and gets in a crisp counter punch that catches Tracey on the shoulder. The round has been a little flat so far, neither of them is really forcing the issue. They enter into a clinch, which doesn't help matters, and that seems to last for an eternity before the referee separates them and tells them to get on with it. Tracey finally shows some fire, putting together a combination of two jabs, a cross, and an uppercut. Chekhov did well to defend it, bobbing and weaving out of the way and using his gloves to parry away anything that was too close. He uses a low kick to the thigh as a response, then steps in and unloads with two fine punches, although Tracey blocked them. Tracey scores the best punch of the round so far, coming in fast, ducking under a dangerous right hand, and catching Chekhov square in the face with a lunging overhand right. Chekhov backs off and covers up, clearly having felt that one, and unfortunately Tracey's attempts to follow up and thwarted as he gets tied up in a clinch near the ropes. The time expires, with Tracey probably having stolen that round thanks to that one big punch. End of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Tracey. Kendall Tracey wins, with a score of 50-45 from two judges, 49-46 from the other. Kendall Tracey wins the OMEGA Light Heavyweight title.

Kendall Tracey ($4,400) beat Aleksei Chekhov ($2,500) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 5 to win the OMEGA Light Heavyweight title. (1 star)

The announced attendance was 641 for an estimated live gate of $38,150. The fighters earned a total of $29,000. The show didn't sit well with a lot of the fans, who were very underwhelmed with the show as a whole. The show has resulted in the promotion losing popularity in one region.

OMEGA 27 (Southern Asia)

Middleweight Match
#2 Casim Yenkini (9-5) vs. #5 Jemaine McKenzie (8-5)
Yenkini has the adavantage on the ground.
Blurcat Prediction: Casim Yenkini via T.K.O.

Round 1
Yenkini leads with the right hand to set up a low kick, McKenzie deals with it well. They clinch, but only for a few seconds before it gets broken. Both throw stiff jabs at the same time, neither connects properly. Back to the clinch. It has been a disjointed start to the round, the flow hasn't quite developed properly. McKenzie uses a knee to the ribs before backing Yenkini up against the ropes. Right hand from Yenkini connects though, that was well timed. McKenzie breaks the clinch and backs off. That was sloppy on his part, Yenkini was basically gifted a free shot. Three quick jabs from McKenzie sting the gloves, then a crashing hook to the body finds its mark. Good recovery. Yenkini fires off a low kick again, but it's well wide. McKenzie tries an ill-advised head kick, but Yenkini ducks and comes straight underneath it. Grabbing the leg, he lifts McKenzie up and then violently plants him into the ground with a slam. Yenkini dives in, but gets pulled into guard. Yenkini manages to push the guard apart, and leans over McKenzie, trapping one leg underneath his body. Bad position for McKenzie to be in, and Yenkini now starts throwing big lefts and rights. McKenzie tries to deflect them away but quite a few are hitting home. McKenzie tries to bring his free leg in to add some leverage, but Yenkini swats it aside and gets the full mount. More punches start raining down, and McKenzie is left just covering up to try and weather the storm. It's no use though, as the barrage of punches without answer convince the referee to call a halt to the action. Yenkini wins via TKO at 8:27 of the first round.

Casim Yenkini ($4,000) beat Jemaine McKenzie ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 8:27 of round 1. (1 star)

Lightweight Match
#3 Piotr Dabrowski (12-14-1) vs. Darin Blood (3-0)
Blood has the adavantage while standing or on the ground, but Blood has a suspect chin.
Blurcat Prediction: Darin Blood via decision.

Round 1
Slow start, both fighters are throwing tentative punches without threatening anything more powerful. Blood puts together the first exciting moment, stringing together four punches in quick succession, but Dabrowski defended well. Straight right from Dabrowski in response, but it caught nothing but gloves. They start circling. The referee tells them to fight, the lack of action so far is worrying. They get in close and exchange body shots, Blood probably getting the slightly better punches in, and then fall into a clinch. That goes nowhere, and the referee separates them. Dabrowski gets a nice kick in just before the time expires, but it's unlikely that is going to stop the judges giving that round to Blood. The round is over. Blurcat.com scores it 10-9 for Blood.

Round 2
Blood and Dabrowski circle to start. Dabrowski throws a couple of looping punches, neither hitting, while Blood sits back, waiting for an opportunity to attack. Dabrowski comes in closer, looking to unload with a right hand; that misses, and it allows Blood to slip a nice jab in, catching Dabrowski just underneath the right eye. Blood comes in and scores with a straight left, then bounces a right hand off the body. Dabrowski misses with a right cross, then backs off. Blood stalks him, forcing Dabrowski back up against the ropes. Blood doesn't rush in, instead standing back and throwing the occasional punch. Dabrowski throws a big left hand in response, but it misses by quite a margin. Blood pounces, hitting lefts and rights. Dabrowski covers up from the first two punches, then clinches up to prevent any more coming in. They're up against the ropes, Blood in the dominant position. They remain that way as the time ticks down. Blood throws the occasional knee, but can't really do much with his arms tied up like that. The referee finally tells them to break, and they return to the center. That clinch ate up a lot of time though. Dabrowski comes in hard and fast, bobbing and weaving, and throws a couple of big shots. Blood parries them with his gloves and scores with a well-executed counter punch, hitting just above the eye. They come in close again, throwing punches, but wind up clinched again. The time expires with them like that, and that round will definitely go down in Blood's favour. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com has it down as 10-9 Blood.

Round 3
Two jabs from the left hand of Blood set up a hard waist-high kick, but Dabrowski steps back to avoid it. Nice attempt though. Blood moves in closer, bobbing and weaving, and looks to score with a looping right hand, but Dabrowski uses the gloves to parry it away, then counter-strikes with a crisp jab and a kick to the knee. Good opening to the round, both fighters are looking lively. Blood finds himself backed up against the ropes briefly, and has to scramble to safety to avoid a flurry of strikes. Dabrowski is working for position, and is currently looking the more composed of the two. They come together, both throwing punches. Blood gets a nice clean shot in, and Dabrowski stumbles backwards and falls to the floor. Blood is on top of him quickly, and unloads with two more big punches, both connect solidly. The referee jumps in and pulls him away before a third is thrown, this match is over by TKO. Replays show the referee may have been slightly early. The official time of the TKO is 2:49 of round 3.

Darin Blood ($400) beat Piotr Dabrowski ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 2:49 of round 3. (1 star)

Middle Heavyweight Match
#2 Denbe Ekiguchi (8-14-1) vs. #1 Dave Lennon (9-3)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Dave Lennon via T.K.O.

Round 1
Lennon starts fast, coming out almost immediately with a three punch combination. None of them get through, and Ekiguchi manages to squeeze a jab of his own through and score just above the left cheek. They exchange a flurry of blows right in the center, it's difficult to see who got the best of it, and both of them retreat a few steps to recover. Good start to the round, early indications are that this is going to be all about the striking, neither fighter has even hinted at going for a takedown. Ekiguchi uses a low kick to set up a nice right hand, and Lennon is forced back against the ropes. Ekiguchi picks his shots and gets a big punch to the body in. Lennon uses a couple of looping punches to make Ekiguchi keep back, but it doesn't last for long, as Ekiguchi bursts forward and hits two big right hands, taking a counter punch to the body though, and they wind up in a clinch. They exchange weak-looking blows from that position, before the referee grows tired of the inactivity and breaks them apart. Lennon scores with a low kick. Ekiguchi throws out a few jabs, nothing too dangerous though, Lennon easily avoided them. Ekiguchi unwinds a right hook that narrowly misses. That will be the last action of the round though. End of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Ekiguchi.

Round 2
The round begins, and it is Lennon who starts better, energetically bounding straight into action by throwing a three-punch combination and a scything leg kick. Ekiguchi defended all four blows well, but is forced to be on the backfoot right from the word go. Lennon works for an angle, coming in from the left hand side with a high right hand. Ekiguchi ducks under it and nestles a stiff jab in the solar plexus. It doesn't seem to slow Lennon down much though, as he swiftly turns and hits a crisp left to the side of the head, followed almost instantly by a mid-level kick that smacks above the hip of Ekiguchi. Interesting first minute of action, Lennon is looking particularly sharp. Ekiguchi tries to turn the momentum by advancing quickly and driving Lennon back against the ropes with a series of jabs and hooks, and they end up clinched. Ekiguchi tries a knee from that position, but it is blocked. Lennon scores with two sharp blows to the ribs, and then they break away from each other. Ekiguchi with a body shot. They square up to each other in the center. Lennon throws a head fake and comes in from low down to hit a rising shot that catches Ekiguchi on the side of the head. Ekiguchi got a shot in too though, although it hit the shoulder rather than the head. Time is running down; Lennon has probably done enough to win the round, but it has turned quite scrappy since the clinch against the ropes, both will probably be slightly unhappy with that. Ekiguchi tries a late surge, coming in hard and fast with a leading left, but Lennon defends it well and scores the only meaningful shot of the exchange with a crisp left hand. End of the round. Blurcat.com has it down as 10-9 Lennon.

Round 3
Lennon leads with the right hand to set up a low kick, Ekiguchi deals with it well. They clinch, but only for a few seconds before it gets broken. Both throw stiff jabs at the same time, neither connects properly. Back to the clinch. It has been a disjointed start to the round, the flow hasn't quite developed properly. Ekiguchi uses a knee to the ribs before backing Lennon up against the ropes. Right hand from Lennon connects though, that was well timed. Ekiguchi breaks the clinch and backs off. That was sloppy on his part, Lennon was basically gifted a free shot. Three quick jabs from Ekiguchi sting the gloves, then a crashing hook to the body finds its mark. Good recovery. Lennon fires off a low kick again, but it's well wide. Lennon clinches with Ekiguchi and pushes him back against the ropes. Ekiguchi gets in a knee, but a second attempt gets caught. Lennon uses that for leverage, and with only one leg remaining, Ekiguchi has no base left with which to stop Lennon drilling him with a big slam! Ekiguchi landed hard, but pulled guard, and will be thankful that he landed next to the ropes, which can be used to his advantage. Lennon drops a bomb of a right hand, smashing into the hands of Ekiguchi and forcing them back into his face. Another right hand finds its way through, landing right above the eye, stunning Ekiguchi. With his opponent's wits scrambled, Lennon moves from the guard into a mount with ease, and starts unloading with rights and lefts. Ekiguchi tries to cover up, but is getting decimated, and the referee is forced to come in and pull Lennon off, signalling the win. Official time of the TKO is 3:28 of the third.

Dave Lennon ($5,000) beat Denbe Ekiguchi ($300) by T.K.O. in 3:28 of round 3. (2 stars)

Heavyweight Title Main Event
Aleksander Ivanov (2-0) vs. #1 Rav Kapur (10-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Aleksander Ivanov via split decision.

Round 1
Ivanov leads with the right hand to set up a low kick, Kapur deals with it well. They clinch, but only for a few seconds before it gets broken. Both throw stiff jabs at the same time, neither connects properly. Back to the clinch. It has been a disjointed start to the round, the flow hasn't quite developed properly. Kapur uses a knee to the ribs before backing Ivanov up against the ropes. Right hand from Ivanov connects though, that was well timed. Kapur breaks the clinch and backs off. That was sloppy on his part, Ivanov was basically gifted a free shot. Three quick jabs from Kapur sting the gloves, then a crashing hook to the body finds its mark. Good recovery. Ivanov fires off a low kick again, but it's well wide. Ivanov gets caught with a solid right hand out of nowhere, and is rocked. Kapur follows up with another one, and Ivanov looks in trouble all of a sudden. He is backed up against the ropes and Kapur is unloading. The punches are raining down, Ivanov is covering up. The referee has seen enough and stops the fight, clearly feeling that Ivanov was unable to defend himself intelligently. Kapur wins. The official time is 6:39. Rav Kapur retains the OMEGA Heavyweight title.

Rav Kapur ($5,300) beat Aleksander Ivanov ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 6:39 of round 1 to retain the OMEGA Heavyweight title. (2 stars)

The announced attendance was 498 for an estimated live gate of $29,610. The fighters earned a total of $22,500. The fans went home happy having gotten their money's worth from the night's action. The show has resulted in the promotion gaining popularity in one region.

OMEGA 28 (South Eastern Asia)

Lightweight Match
#5 Yeijiro Yamamoto (6-9) vs. #7 Ukyo Narita (4-7)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage. Yamamoto is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Yeijiro Yamamoto via knock out.

Round 1
They touch gloves to begin. Yamamoto throws out a looping right hand, setting up a mid-level kick. The punch found gloves, the kick found nothing but thin air as Narita had stepped back in time. They meet in the center, exchanging a series of blows, and Yamamoto gets the better of it, scoring with a crisp jab that causes Narita to back up quickly. Sensing a chance, Yamamoto follows and forces him up against the ropes with some jabs. Narita covers up, as two hard strikes find the gloves from Yamamoto. A right hand misses, and that is the chance Narita needs to quickly get out of trouble and back to the center. Great start to the round from Yamamoto. Narita makes Yamamoto back up against the ropes by throwing some looping punches. He comes in closer and hits a right hook to the body, getting a jab to the cheek in return. Narita throws another two punches, both to the body, then steps back to avoid an uppercut. Yamamoto lets fly with a scorching punch though, and it catches Narita by surprise, putting him down! Yamamoto follows up and starts raining down right hands. Narita covers up as best he can, but it's not enough as the referee pulls Yamamoto off, the match is over. Yamamoto wins via first round TKO at 2:35.

Yeijiro Yamamoto ($5,300) beat Ukyo Narita ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 2:35 of round 1. (1 star)

Ethan Sutton (0-0) vs. Joshua Hope (0-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage. Sutton is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Joshua Hope via T.K.O.

Round 1
The round starts. They touch gloves. Hope throws a rapid-fire series of punches, forcing Sutton to back off. Sutton throws a nice kick that thumps into the rib cage. Another kick is thrown, this time aimed at the head, but Hope sees it coming and steps back. Sutton advances and they meet in the center. Hope ducks a right hand, scores with a left to the gut. Sutton throws a one-two combination, neither connecting, but it does allow him to follow up with a stinging kick to the ribs. A big red mark has appeared there. Hope bursts forward and goes for a big swing, Sutton ducks under it, hits a right to the chest, then unloads another kick. This one hits the thigh, causing Hope to noticeably wince. It may have caught the very top of the knee judging from the replays. Hope tries to come in to get a measure of revenge, but is met with some low kicks that make sure that he can't get close enough to throw any bombs. Sutton's impressively sharp kicking game is hurting Hope and allowing him to take firm control of this round. There's not much time left, and Hope is going to have to do something special to win this round now. He doesn't, as time expires without anything interesting happening. End of the round. Blurcat.com gives that one to Sutton by 10-9.

Round 2
Exchange of punches to start, nothing really hit though. They go into a clinch, and the pace disappears as both fighters try and get the advantage. Eventually the referee separates them. Jab from Sutton, who then has to react quickly to avoid a right hook that was aimed right at the chin. Sutton puts on a burst of energy and fires off a big sequence of punches, maybe twelve or thirteen in a row, although not many actually connected. Hope covered up well, and gets in a couple of shots of his own before moving out of range again. An exchange of punches goes nowhere, and they fall into a clinch. The referee separates them when nothing happens. Low kick from Hope, almost to the groin, although it didn't look intentional. They come together in a clinch again, and it returns to a stalemate. Not a great round by anyone's standard, but that flurry should mean that Sutton will take the round on points. The second round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Sutton by 10-9.

Round 3
Hope isn't hanging around, right from the start Sutton is forced onto the back foot by four hard shots, although none of them get through the gloves. Sutton circles, steps in, then unloads a combination of punches, but Hope weaves out of the way and scores with a beauty of a right hand, glancing above the right eye. That was some lovely counter punching from Hope, the timing had to be perfect and it was. Sutton is looking a bit frustrated, and uncorks a ragged-looking uppercut that missed by several inches. Hope really should have taken advantage of that mistake, Sutton was wide open for a moment there. Hope hits a high kick, catching Sutton on the shoulder. Jab from Sutton finds the mark, but it didn't have much power behind it as he was leaning backward too much. Hope fires off a couple of straight punches in response, but only finds gloves. They clinch, and the fight enters a lull. Sutton scores with a knee from the clinch, it landed around the hip area of Hope, who responds with a couple of shots to the ribs. The time runs out with them still clinched though. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com scores 10-9 Hope. The official scores are in; two judges give 29-28, the other 30-27, all for Ethan Sutton.

Ethan Sutton ($200) beat Joshua Hope ($100) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (1 star)

Light Heavyweight Match
#5 Richard Smith (12-7) vs. Bill Brown (1-1)
Brown has the advantage while standing or on the ground.
Blurcat Prediction: Bill Brown via decision.

Round 1
Slow start; nearly a full minute of circling, occasional fakes, and long-range jabs. Neither fighter is creating much. Brown works an angle, but takes a low kick to the shin when he advances. They clinch, and end up with Smith backed up against the ropes. Brown gets a couple of right hands to the body, but his attempts at knee strikes are deflected by Smith, who uses his legs well to defend. Brown pulls free and takes a step back, then powers in a right hand. Smith gets out the way, ducks under a second right hand, and backs up to the center. Brown follows, and we're back to circling. Uninspiring action so far, they've both been fairly devoid of inspiration. Brown hits a couple of right hands, both hitting gloves, then a left hand to the body that connected. That was the best shot of the round so far. Smith tags him with a flicked jab to the cheek, but it had virtually no power on it. Smith leans in to a looping left, but it puts him off balance and it's only at the last second that he gets his chin out of the way of a vicious right cross that comes back. If that had hit, we may have had a knock out. Time runs out with them standing, circling again. End of the round. Blurcat.com has it down as 10-9 Brown.

Round 2
Smith throws the first punch of the round, a high searching jab that didn't carry a great deal of threat with it. Brown throws a one-two combination in return, neither connecting, then steps in and delivers a hard kick to the outside of the thigh. Smith steps back, throwing a right hand as he does to buy himself space. They circle, then move in again to exchange strikes, neither fighter getting a clear advantage. They come together again and the same result. It has become something of a stalemate at the moment. They come together to exchange strikes for the third time, and this time they wind up in a clinch. Brown hits a knee to the ribs. A couple of shots to the back from Smith. They struggle all the way back, with Smith ending up backed up against the ropes. Brown hits another knee, but there wasn't much power behind it. Smith stomps downward onto his foot. Smith manages to reverse their positions, but that only lasts about thirty seconds before it gets reversed once more. Brown gets an arm free and tries to throw a big shot to the cheek, Smith ducks under it and gets the arm back under control. The referee finally breaks them up, and we're back to where we started. Smith tries a high kick to start, but Brown saw it coming and easily avoids it. They come back together in the center, and it's Brown who gets the first sustained attack of the round, hitting two hard body shots and a jab that caught Smith on the nose. Smith hits a straight right, enough to stop Brown from following up any further. The time expires with them standing. Not a great round for either of them or the crowd, it was very scrappy. The round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Brown by 10-9.

Round 3
Smith throws a nice series of straight rights from the start, bobbing and weaving to keep Brown from landing anything in return. None of the punches got through though, Brown parried them away. Nice crisp start to the round though. Brown hits two body shots, then comes in low under an attempted right cross and uses a single leg to take Smith down. Nicely done. Smith pulls guard. Brown fights his way out into half guard. Big clubbing blow from Brown, Smith dealt with it well. Brown half-stands, his right leg still trapped between Smith's, and starts unloading with a barrage of bombing right hands. Smith takes one right to the jaw, then another smashes hard into his nose. More devastating punches rain down, and the referee pulls Brown off, preventing Smith from taking any more damage. Official time of the TKO is 1:19 of the third round.

Bill Brown ($5,000) beat Richard Smith ($2,000) by T.K.O. in 1:19 of round 3. (1 star)

Lightweight Main Event
#2 Luke Hilton (8-3) vs. Eli Harris (1-2)
Harris has a 5 inch height advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Luke Hilton via T.K.O.

Round 1
The round begins, and it is Hilton who starts better, energetically bounding straight into action by throwing a three-punch combination and a scything leg kick. Harris defended all four blows well, but is forced to be on the backfoot right from the word go. Hilton works for an angle, coming in from the left hand side with a high right hand. Harris ducks under it and nestles a stiff jab in the solar plexus. It doesn't seem to slow Hilton down much though, as he swiftly turns and hits a crisp left to the side of the head, followed almost instantly by a mid-level kick that smacks above the hip of Harris. Interesting first minute of action, Hilton is looking particularly sharp. Harris tries to turn the momentum by advancing quickly and driving Hilton back against the ropes with a series of jabs and hooks, and they end up clinched. Harris tries a knee from that position, but it is blocked. Hilton scores with two sharp blows to the ribs, and then they break away from each other. They tangle near the ropes, and the referee has to come in and pull them apart. They square up to each other in the center. Hilton throws a head fake and comes in from low down to hit a rising shot that catches Harris on the side of the head. Harris got a shot in too though, although it hit the shoulder rather than the head. Time is running down; Hilton has probably done enough to win the round, but it has turned quite scrappy since the clinch against the ropes, both will probably be slightly unhappy with that. Harris tries a late surge, coming in hard and fast with a leading left, but Hilton defends it well and scores the only meaningful shot of the exchange with a crisp left hand. The round is over. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Hilton.

Round 2
Harris works an angle and comes in from the side of Hilton, getting two good jabs in before a ragged left misses by quite a margin. Hilton hits a low kick to back Harris against the ropes, then works the body with a series of short punches. Harris fights out and the action returns to the center. Harris hits a right hand above Hilton's right eye, but gets clinched up before he can do anything further. Hilton forces him back against the ropes. They struggle, with Harris keeping the takedown from happening by pulling away from every trip attempt. Hilton pushes Harris into the ropes, then sweeps the legs quickly. Harris couldn't get out of the way that time, and goes down. He pulls guard. Hilton drops a bomb of a right hand, smashing into the hands of Harris and forcing them back into his face. Another right hand finds its way through, landing right above the eye, stunning Harris. With his opponent's wits scrambled, Hilton moves from the guard into a mount with ease, and starts unloading with rights and lefts. Harris tries to cover up, but is getting decimated, and the referee is forced to come in and pull Hilton off, signalling the win. The official time is 2:16.

Luke Hilton ($6,000) beat Eli Harris ($200) by T.K.O. in 2:16 of round 2. (1 star)

The announced attendance was 176 for an estimated live gate of $10,500. The fighters earned a total of $21,300. There were some rumblings of discontent from the fans after the show, there was definitely a feeling that while the show wasn't a stinker, it had been a disappointment. The show has resulted in the promotion gaining popularity in one region.

OMEGA 29 (Eastern Asia)

Light Heavyweight Match
#3 Daniel Hornsby (10-3) vs. Kit Giannakopoulos (0-1)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Daniel Hornsby via T.K.O.

Round 1
Dull first sixty seconds to the round, as neither fighter looks willing to commit much to attack. They're both looking for angles to come in from, but they're constantly countering each other. A crisp jab from Hornsby that almost found its way through the guard is the sole highlight as we reach the minute mark. Giannakopoulos glances at the referee, not sure why. Giannakopoulos ducks out of the way of a punch, then back steps quickly, just in time to avoid the uppercut that was coming. Better from Hornsby, although no damage has actually been done yet. Giannakopoulos pushes Hornsby up against the ropes in a clinch. Giannakopoulos throws a knee, then a couple of short punches to the side of the head. Hornsby pushes him away and steps in to score with an uppercut. Giannakopoulos took it flush on the chin and is rocked! Another right hand drops Giannakopoulos against the ropes, and Hornsby follows up by unloading with a barrage of punches. The referee gets in and pulls Hornsby away, he wins the match by TKO. The official time is 2:41.

Daniel Hornsby ($4,400) beat Kit Giannakopoulos ($200) by T.K.O. in 2:41 of round 1. (1 star)

Light Heavyweight Match
#7 Ebizo Fujishima (9-13-2) vs. #4 Percy Catcher (9-4)
Catcher has the advantage while standing with his striking ability and his mobility.
Blurcat Prediction: Percy Catcher via T.K.O.

Round 1
Slow start, both fighters are throwing tentative punches without threatening anything more powerful. Catcher puts together the first exciting moment, stringing together four punches in quick succession, but Fujishima defended well. Straight right from Fujishima in response, but it caught nothing but gloves. They start circling. The referee tells them to fight, the lack of action so far is worrying. They get in close and exchange body shots, Catcher probably getting the slightly better punches in, and then fall into a clinch. That goes nowhere, and the referee separates them. Fujishima gets a nice kick in just before the time expires, but it's unlikely that is going to stop the judges giving that round to Catcher. The first round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Catcher by 10-9.

Round 2
There is some tentative circling to begin with, before they meet in the center for the first action of the round. It's a tight affair, both fighters heavily using the jab, but Catcher looks to get the better of it, landing with one crisp strike to the face in particular. Fujishima backs off, a little shaken. Replays show that it landed right on the nose. Catcher press the action, forcing Fujishima back against the ropes and upping the tempo with rapid-fire lefts and rights, bobbing and weaving at the same time to keep from getting caught with a counter punch. Fujishima clinches up. Catcher is displaying a much more accomplished and confident striking game than Fujishima, the technique and speed with which the punches are being delivered is leaving Fujishima looking ragged in comparison. The pattern continues once they've been separated, with Catcher looking the sharper of the two. He isn't overwhelming Fujishima by any means, but he is comfortably controlling the pace and tempo of the round, and preventing Fujishima from stamping any sort of mark on it. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Catcher.

Round 3
Fujishima goes to the center, and immediately throws some jabs, looking to engage in a striking battle. Catcher doesn't commit though, instead circling and looking for an angle. Catcher comes in, ducks a right hand, then unleashes a flurry of punches. Fujishima covers up at first, then throws a scathing right hand, but Catcher is already out of range. Catcher repeats the trick, working a new angle, darting in, then firing off strikes while keeping out of the way of any counter punches. It happens a third time, and Fujishima is beginning to look frustrated. Catcher's footwork and general movement is looking good, Fujishima is being made to look very slow and lumbering in comparison. Furthermore, Catcher is being able to launch multiple short bursts of offense without really being in any danger, Fujishima has yet to hit any sort of meaningful punch, simply because Catcher is too quick. Fujishima finally gets in close enough to grapple with Catcher, clinching up. Fujishima scores a nice body punch, then steps back and goes for a vicious right hand, but Catcher bobs out of the way and hits a right hook of his own. Time is ticking away, and Fujishima is well behind in this round, he needs to do something special. Fujishima swings for the fences, but Catcher has no problem avoiding it. The round peters out. End of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Catcher. All three judges give a score of 30-27 in favour of Percy Catcher.

Percy Catcher ($5,300) beat Ebizo Fujishima ($2,500) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (1 star)

Middleweight Match
#3 Dennis Gallagher (8-4) vs. #1 Korekiyo Anzai (8-2)
Anzai had the advantage on the ground with his submissions.
Blurcat Prediction: Korekiyo Anzai via submission.

Round 1
Slow start, both fighters are throwing tentative punches without threatening anything more powerful. Anzai puts together the first exciting moment, stringing together four punches in quick succession, but Gallagher defended well. Straight right from Gallagher in response, but it caught nothing but gloves. They start circling. The referee tells them to fight, the lack of action so far is worrying. They get in close and exchange body shots, Anzai probably getting the slightly better punches in, and then fall into a clinch. That goes nowhere, and the referee separates them. Gallagher gets a nice kick in just before the time expires, but it's unlikely that is going to stop the judges giving that round to Anzai. The round ends. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Anzai.

Round 2
Anzai doesn't waste any time, scoring with a big right hook almost immediately. Gallagher was caught sleeping, and that really landed hard, if it had been more accurate it might have been a knock out blow. Gallagher hits two sharp body shots in return, but it's clear that he is rattled. For a second it looked like Gallagher was about to go for a takedown, but nothing came from it. They get in close and exchange punches, it's not clear who got the better of that. Anzai hits a good looping punch to the side of the head, that's another one that's rattled Gallagher. Anzai is getting more force behind his punches at the moment, and that's the key difference. Gallagher looks for an opening. Time ticks away, and Gallagher offers nothing that would make you think that he has any chance of winning this round on points. The round is over. Blurcat.com gives that one to Anzai by 10-9.

Round 3
Anzai meets Gallagher in the center. They exchange tentative long-range punches. Gallagher steps in to press the action, but gets caught with a right hand. Anzai scores with a left too, then a crisp jab. Gallagher backs off, that exchange did not go in his favour by any means. Anzai presses the advantage and gets in a couple more jabs, forcing Gallagher onto the back-foot, all the way until he is up against the ropes. Anzai stands just in range and starts throwing occasional straight rights, forcing Gallagher to try and react in time. Gallagher parries a few shots away, but also gets caught with a couple. He steps forward and tries to get a clinch, but Anzai keeps away from it and continues to flick quick jabs out. Gallagher is really getting schooled so far, Anzai's hand speed and technique have allowed him to completely control everything about this round, Gallagher hasn't been able to generate anything of note. Gallagher tries to change that by coming after Anzai, but Anzai meets him in the center and exchanges punches, again winning the encounter comfortably. The final minute of the round sees Gallagher try two more times, and in neither can he manage to break Anzai's control. End of round 3. Blurcat.com has it down as 10-9 Anzai. All three judges give a score of 30-27 in favour of Korekiyo Anzai.

Korekiyo Anzai ($5,000) beat Dennis Gallagher ($3,000) by Unanimous Decision in 10:00 of round 3. (1 star)

Lightweight Title Main Event
Darin Blood (4-0) vs. #1 Agustin Gonzalez (5-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Darin Blood via decision.

Round 1
An exchange of jabs doesn't go anywhere. Blood fakes a kick, then darts in to score with a straight left before backing out fast to avoid a left-right combination from Gonzalez. They clinch, and Gonzalez winds up backed against the ropes. A couple of minor blows get exchanged, but it's turned into a bit of a stalemate. Blood tries to push Gonzalez back, but can't. The referee waits a while, then separates them and gets them to resume. Gonzalez hits two jabs, then a high kick. It glances off Blood's shoulder, catching him on the top of the head. He stumbles backward, ending up against the ropes. Gonzalez charges in and starts unloading, and after several crunching punches have landed the referee has no choice but to jump in and bring the match to the end. OMEGA 30 (Southern Asia)

Middleweight Match
#2 Casim Yenkini (10-5) vs. Ethan Sutton (1-0)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Casim Yenkini via T.K.O.

Round 1
Yenkini starts the round by throwing some low kicks. Sutton checks them, then comes in and clearly wants to trade punches. Yenkini doesn't seem too bothered by that, and they enter into the first exchange of punches of the round. Difficult to say who came out on top, neither of them did a great deal of damage, most of the shots hit the opponent's gloves. Yenkini cleverly head-fakes, allowing him the time and angle that he needed to catch Sutton with a beauty of a right hook. Sutton stumbles backward, but doesn't go down. Yenkini presses the advantage by following in with a kick, then a right hand. Sutton clinches. They remain clinched for a while. Sutton scores with a nice knee, it appeared to catch Yenkini in the gut. Yenkini uses a single leg trip and takes the fight to the ground. Yenkini gets to side control upon impact, and immediately goes for an armbar. Sutton reacts quickly, but is in real danger. Yenkini has his left arm straightened out, fortunately Sutton has managed to roll and get a good position that is stopping Yenkini from getting the leverage needed to apply an armlock. Yenkini tries to step over and fully apply it, but Sutton breaks free and gets him to back off with a couple of up-kicks. Yenkini steps back and motions for him to stand up. They go back to circling in the center. Sutton hits a nice right hand, but takes one back too. The time runs down; Yenkini will probably get that round on points, he hit the best punch of the round, and got the only takedown, plus was the one who was working toward a submission. That's the end of the round. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Yenkini.

Round 2
Right hand from Yenkini was thrown with power, but bounced off the gloves of Sutton. Yenkini follows up by coming in close, but Sutton is ready with a straight right hand that glances off the side of the head. Yenkini throws a combination but gets smothered into a clinch. They back up against the ropes. Sutton hits a wicked uppercut, taking Yenkini completely by surprise, then starts wailing away with lefts and rights. Yenkini can only cover up against the ferocious attack, but that doesn't stop a couple of big shots landing. More shots rain down, and Yenkini is getting obliterated, he can't throw any counter punches as he can't move his hands down without getting hit again, and he can't get past Sutton to safety either. The referee finally sees enough and covers Yenkini up. Sutton wins via 2nd round TKO with the official time being 1:23.

Ethan Sutton ($200) beat Casim Yenkini ($2,000) by T.K.O. in 1:23 of round 2. (1 star)

Lightweight Match
#5 Piotr Dabrowski (12-15-1) vs. #4 Taufik Wijaya (34-20-2)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage, but Dabrowski is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Piotr Dabrowski via T.K.O.

Round 1
Flat start to the round, thirty seconds of circling without any actual contact. The fans begin to get a bit restless. Wijaya is the first to try something, stringing together a couple of jabs and a low kick, but Dabrowski blocked the first two and avoided the latter. A lunge from Wijaya is meant to set up a punch, but it's clumsy and just leaves him off balance. Dabrowski is quick to react, and gets a great shot to the side of the face in before Wijaya can cover up. That landed above the left eye and has left an ugly red mark. No cut, but that will start to swell and could give Wijaya some problems later on. Wijaya moves in for a right hook, but takes a hard kick to the knee, then is forced to retreat so as not to get caught with the two right hands that follow. Dabrowski is staying on it though, and glances three shots off the gloves of Wijaya before they wind up in a clinch. That punch above the eye, or maybe the mistake that led to it, seems to have completely thrown Wijaya off, since that moment he has been comprehensively out-struck and is now in danger of losing this round. They struggle in the clinch, neither fighter managing a great deal more than minor blows. Wijaya goes for a trip, but Dabrowski cleverly spins out of it and the two fighters are back to circling. Not a great round for purists, it has all been a bit disjointed, but that one shot from Dabrowski may prove decisive. As the round comes to an end, they wind up back in another clinch, with nothing coming of it. End of round 1. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Dabrowski.

Round 2
Wijaya throws the first punch of the round, a high searching jab that didn't carry a great deal of threat with it. Dabrowski throws a one-two combination in return, neither connecting, then steps in and delivers a hard kick to the outside of the thigh. Wijaya steps back, throwing a right hand as he does to buy himself space. They circle, then move in again to exchange strikes, neither fighter getting a clear advantage. They come together again and the same result. It has become something of a stalemate at the moment. They come together to exchange strikes for the third time, and this time they wind up in a clinch. Dabrowski hits a knee to the ribs. A couple of shots to the back from Wijaya. They struggle all the way back, with Wijaya ending up backed up against the ropes. Dabrowski hits another knee, but there wasn't much power behind it. Wijaya stomps downward onto his foot. Wijaya manages to reverse their positions, but that only lasts about thirty seconds before it gets reversed once more. Dabrowski gets an arm free and tries to throw a big shot to the cheek, Wijaya ducks under it and gets the arm back under control. The referee finally breaks them up, and we're back to where we started. Wijaya tries a high kick to start, but Dabrowski saw it coming and easily avoids it. They come back together in the center, and it's Dabrowski who gets the first sustained attack of the round, hitting two hard body shots and a jab that caught Wijaya on the nose. Wijaya hits a straight right, enough to stop Dabrowski from following up any further. The time expires with them standing. Not a great round for either of them or the crowd, it was very scrappy. The 2nd round ends. Blurcat.com sees it 10-9 to Dabrowski.

Round 3
Wijaya hits some tentative punches, then comes in fast and forces Dabrowski to back up against the ropes, where they clinch. Wijaya hits a nice body shot, but takes two short punches to the side of the head in return. Dabrowski tries a trip, but it doesn't go anywhere. They separate, with Wijaya having to stay sharp to avoid a scorching right hand from Dabrowski. Dabrowski fires off three straight jabs, none of which connect. Wijaya is forced up with his back against the ropes though. He clearly doesn't like the thought of being trapped there for any length of time though, as he quickly comes forward with a barrage of wild punches. Dabrowski bobs and weaves to avoid them, but is literally bundled over in the process. There wasn't really any punch that put him down, it was simply the fact that Wijaya was advancing at a faster rate than he could back-pedal! Wijaya follows up with Dabrowski down on his back. Wijaya presses the advantage and starts wailing away, although most of the punches aren't landing very well. A few are though, and Dabrowski can't do much more than cover up. An elbow finds its way through, and looked like it landed on the bridge of the nose. Big right hand from Wijaya, who is expending a lot of energy on this attack. Dabrowski tries to grab a guillotine, but can't get it. Left hand, connects, from Wijaya. That landed hard on the chin, and that convinces the referee to get in and stop the match. A controversial decision. The official time of the TKO is 9:55 of round 3.

Taufik Wijaya ($6,000) beat Piotr Dabrowski ($2,500) by T.K.O. in 9:55 of round 3. (1 star)

Middleweight Match
Sukarno (0-0) vs. Joshua Hope (0-1)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage.
Blurcat Prediction: Sukarno via knock out.

Round 1
Sukarno leads with the right hand to set up a low kick, Hope deals with it well. They clinch, but only for a few seconds before it gets broken. Both throw stiff jabs at the same time, neither connects properly. Back to the clinch. It has been a disjointed start to the round, the flow hasn't quite developed properly. Hope uses a knee to the ribs before backing Sukarno up against the ropes. Right hand from Sukarno connects though, that was well timed. Hope breaks the clinch and backs off. That was sloppy on his part, Sukarno was basically gifted a free shot. Three quick jabs from Hope sting the gloves, then a crashing hook to the body finds its mark. Good recovery. Sukarno fires off a low kick again, but it's well wide. They are facing off, neither willing to make the first move. Sukarno throws a couple of jabs, but they're more to keep his hands busy than actually offering any attacking threat. Hope moves in closer and throws a looping punch, missing. Sukarno steps in to meet him and throws a bomb of a right hand. Hope throws one at the same moment, but is a fraction too slow and gets caught right on the chin! Hope goes down, it's lights out, that's a knock out punch. Sukarno goes to follow up but is stopped by the referee, who has seen that Hope is already unconscious. The official time is 4:19.

Sukarno ($6,000) beat Joshua Hope ($100) by Knock Out in 4:19 of round 1. (2 stars)

Middle Heavyweight Title Main Event
#6 Jesse Singh (7-8) vs. #1 Dave Lennon (10-3)
Neither fighter has a strong advantage, but Singh is the better athlete.
Blurcat Prediction: Dave Lennon via T.K.O.

Round 1
The two fighters circle. A series of looping punches from Lennon forces Singh back up against the ropes, and he has to cover up to withstand the three strikes that follow. No real damage caused, but Lennon is aggressively chasing this match. A hook finds the body and Singh clinches. They almost lose their balance as they jockey for position, Singh gets in a couple of knees when they regain their footing. Lennon seems to be trying to break the clinch, it's Singh who is holding it tight, perhaps hoping to calm the energetic start that Lennon had. The referee finally does break them up, after nearly a full minute of inactivity. Singh hits a low kick, then moves in for a jab. Lennon saw it coming and unloads with an enormous punch to the jaw. Singh goes down immediately, he has been knocked clean out by the power of Lennon. Lennon wins via first round knock out at 5:17. Dave Lennon is the new OMEGA Middle Heavyweight champion.

Dave Lennon ($5,000) beat Jesse Singh ($2,500) by Knock Out in 5:17 of round 1 to win the OMEGA Middle Heavyweight title. (2 stars)

The announced attendance was 634 for an estimated live gate of $37,730. The fighters earned a total of $24,300. The fans went home happy having gotten their money's worth from the night's action. The show has resulted in the promotion gaining popularity in one region.

Employed by ALPHA-1, he had a record of 3-0 during the year. A 3 star match, won by split decision over Stan Blackheath in February set the former ALPHA-1 Heavyweight Champion up for a shot against then current champion, Grzegorz Boniek. He defeated Boniek in April by knock out in a 4 star rated match to become the current 2 time ALPHA-1 heavyweight champion. Then in September he defended his title with a win by unanimous decision over former ALPHA-1 heavyweight champion, Robun Yamazaki in a 2 star rated match.

Female Fighter Of The Year: Jenny DeNeuve (12-0)
The undefeated 26 year old WEFF Lightweight champion put together a 3-0 record this year as she successfully defended her title on all three occassions. World Popularity Ranking
Rank (Rank One Year Ago) Company (Location)

1 (1) GAMMA (America)
2 (2) ALPHA-1 (Japan)
3 (3) WEFF (Canada)
4 (4) BCF (United Kingdom)
5 (5) OMEGA (Asia)

No change in the world popularity rankings this year. ALPHA-1 and GAMMA are still at the maximum in game size of enormous and sign anyone they want. Both BCF and WEFF have stayed at small size, and if anything it looks like their popularity has declined a bit over the last year.

As OMEGA, I have almost gotten enough popularity to increase in size from tiny to small. I have about 90% of the bar full. Then I will be on an equal footing with both BCF and WEFF, and will probably add a fifth fight to every fight card and be able to afford it. With the Asia economy finally improving going from very weak to weak and still improving, my funds and attendence will hopefully go up. My net income was $174,339 for the year, which is a record that will hopefully be broken again next year.

I survived having four out of five of my title holders leave. And, almost have all by title belts back around the waist of my fighters. I still need a new middleweight title holder, and it will probably be determined in a match between Korekiyo Anzai (9-2) and Ethan Sutton (2-0). I also will began another change of my roster, getting rid of the fighters that keep losing and bringing in some fresh new faces with maybe one or two old faces if they will sign a contract.
