I'm on day 3 of 3 of hellish hours. I'll get back on the FOOL train and try and sort my issues out on the weekend. Thanks for getting the ship moving again Hyde, don't expect anything from Chico (or Stafford) until next week.

I still can't get a new file for FOOL. Can you post an entire zip (not just the current updates) for the league so I can try reinstalling all of the files?

Have you updated OOTP12, Tasan? That fixed the issue for me.

Although I had to download the update from the OOTP site instead of updating in game.

File is up.

To separate the 2 leagues we will sim again on Monday morning. This will allow us to have seasons simmed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Plus will give the weekends to set draft lists in FOOL. More then one day to set a draft list is something I've been thinking about for years. I wish it was possible to do both leagues like this but I haven't figured it out yet.

AGAIN NEXT SIM IS MONDAY. IT WILL BE SPRING TRAINING AND THE DRAFT.

Thanks, hyde.

BTW, I don't know how much of a hassle it is to post free agent signings in the thread and other stuff, too, but I always appreciated it when Alan did that, because I was usually at work when he ran the sim. So I couldn't check results in game. His updates I could usually generally follow along, depending on how big a signing was.

No biggie that you didn't, just throwing out there something I always enjoyed about the previous sims.

Oh, naw, it's okay for today, just maybe do it going forward. Just saying in general, I liked that about Alan's sims.

Thanks, hyde!

If you had to sit through even one of meeting that we are forced to endure during those days, you would realize that we'd prefer having your kids here just as much as you'd prefer to send them!

Missed your comment yesterday.....

I figured it was something along those lines. I understand what you mean and was just kidding around though.

I didn't get the spring standings soon enough to copy and paste it. Next week I'll have the standings right as well.

If I have time, I'll try to work on things this evening. I'm still getting the wrong date and I have already put wayyyy too much time into getting the game running and setting up exports with the wrong date.

Hey Dan, one thing we found out early on in FOOL is that if you sim up to the first day of the season, any rookies on the big league squad for spring training that you might want to send back down to AAA for another season get a day's worth of experience, making them hit free agency a year earlier. You might want to consider simming up to the day before the first day of the season.

Sorry Tasan forgot about that side of it. I did check to make sure contracts didn't get messed up but forgot about service time. Will remember that going forward.

Not a problem, I only noticed it because I was the guy the first time that helped figure out the odd service time stuff last time it happened.
