Subway 400 Results
Tough luck today for Mustafa Henderson after he took the pole and led most of the first 228 laps on the day. Right before a restart he had an unexpected problem and had to head to the pits. He dropped a lap down and ended up getting involved in a wreck. Steve Bollea took over for the last 84 laps of the race and no one could catch him as he took the victory by over a second. PHP Code:

Our position isn't great, but I have to say that it's a big improvement over last year.

Well good thing one of GWN Racing's drivers is earning his pay. Sweet mercy Hunter, get it together!

Nice finish. If only there weren't issues in the last race, Sterling would be in the top 10.

For a while today it looked like Steve Bollea was going to make it two straight victories as he led the most laps with 102. But with just over 50 laps left Bollea lost the lead to Boris Elvis and was not
able to gain it back. Bollea still finished in 3rd though. Boris Elvis led most of the final 53 laps of the race while battling C.R. Anderson. Anderson took the lead for a lap at a time on a few occasions but Elvis was able to hold him off at the end. Nick Phillips was 4th and Deacon Palmer 5th. J.P. Provo finished 6th, Robbie DeWeerd 7th, Duke McWerter 8th, Ken Schoonover 9th and Bo Duke 10th. Duke fell a lap down early and was a lap down for most of the race. With 80 laps left he fought his way back to the lead lap and ended up moving up to 10th in what has become a turnaround season for him. PHP Code:

Dissappointing for Luke there, starts out second and goes down a lap to finish 19th. The General Lee and Bo Duke do seem to have turned the year around, but we don't seem to be able to crack the top contenders yet.
Dixieland drivers are sitting 13th and 17th, and that is a huge jump from where we were last year. Yeah for us!

Thomas Racing is still happy with their driver, Avery, however he needs to step up on race day and drive like he has a pair.

P.U.R.E Motorsports is off to a great start after the first few race's defending champion Robbie DeWeerd is sitting comfortably at 4th and Jack Meehoff is currenty in 10th in points. Lets see if Robbie can come up with his first win of the season. Looks like DeWeerd Snow and Phillips could be fighting it out till the end once again....

Breaux was the unfortunate victim of the big accident and finished dead last. Hopefully he can cut down on the DNF's and get more consistent in his rookie season.

Nick Phillips took the pole and led the first 85 laps, he gave up the lead during green flag pitstops and Luke Duke came out the leader. Duke would lead 224 of the next 226 laps and dominate the Subway Fresh
Fit 600. Phillips would get involved in a wreck and finish 32nd. Jace Hunter finished 2nd, C.R. Anderson continued his strong season with a 3rd place finish. PHP Code:

Yeeeehawww! The first win for Dixieland Racing and Bo finishes 9th as well. We must have loved this track qualifying 3rd and 4th in a side by side start.

Best finish so far for Thomas Racing....Avery managed to keep us in it the entire time, instead of getting tied up in some of the wrecks he managed to avoid them.

Don't worry guys we're definitely not done. I'm the manager of a campground so this has been a hectic couple of weeks getting everything going. The next race will be up by Wednesday at the absolute latest. I may be able to run it tomorrow. I'm setting up a new system to keep track of points and such so it will be easier to post.

In about a month or so I am going to start this back up again. Spring and Summer just give me no time. My job is very slow in late fall and winter so I am hoping to run a few seasons this fall and winter.
