Chad Morris is doing quite the job at SMU. If today's score holds up, they'll be one game shy of bowl eligibility with two left.

I'm a big Chad fan.
I got the chance to get to know him a little while he was Clemson's OC.....good coach. Better guy. Cares about his kids. Will succeed.

With all his offensive credentials, I found it interesting that the broadcasters said the SMU defense leads the AAC in interceptions.

Why does Maryland's football team look like they dressed up as red hots for Halloween?

Tennessee gives up third most rushing yards (443) in school history to Kentucky, wins 49-36 anyway.

Football is a weird game sometimes.

GT with a 20-0 lead on Va Tech with 30 secs left in the first half.

Yep, football is weird sometimes.

Jeff George Jr. has thrown four interceptions in the first half against Wisconsin. That's ... unpleasant.

Leading 20-0 with all the momentum, GT fumbles on the first play of the second half. It's now 20-7

VT throws an INT on the possession after that and the route is back on. 30-7 with 9 minutes left.

I'm not sure if there's a player in the country I dislike more than Ben Boulware. If he's not roided to the gills, then he's just a dirty SOB. He plays beyond the whistle on a regular basis.

I'm sure Lamar Jackson wishes this officiating crew was working the Louisville-Clemson game.

And it eventually ends up 30-20.

Tech tried very hard to Tech, Chokies refused to let 'em.

Note of fairness: GT wins on the road with a backup QB making (I believe) his first career start.

Meanwhile, speaking of backup QBs, it's A&M's backup vs Ole Miss backup. Rebs decide to burn the redshirt of the heir apparent for three games, in a desperate attempt to keep their bowl streak going.

If I didn't know better I might think that was a move by a coach that knows he probably doesn't need to spend too much time worrying about the long term future.

Although I tend to root against non Big10 undefeated teams, that was a terrible holding call against Clemson

Yeah, if you're going to call holding, you should first make sure actual physical contact occurred.

Wow. What a great game. A bad penalty was costly.

Chaos is bubbling.

And when Iowa beats michigan, look out.

Lol. I don't think it will be the 'team up north' 'attempting to play football' in that matchup, based on results so far this year. Just sayin'.

Doesn't mean I can't laugh at you for it . Granted, being an OSU fan is enough reason to do that all on it's own, but I try to remember that everyone has deep, terrible flaws.

you can absolutely laugh at me about it...that was the intention.

speaking of osu, their offense is finally back on track it seems. yes, i know who they played, but last week it was gelling too and they didnt play the sisters of the poor then. hopefully, it keeps going for a couple more weeks or 3.

Navy over Tulsa was a very lively game - lots of scoring and right down to the wire. Great day for football in Annapolis.

Is it just me or has the power running game made a bit of a comeback this year? It feels like teams are relying a bit more on the downhill running game this year.

Michigan leads only 10-8 at the half in Iowa, outgained 130-124. If Iowa's defense can keep this up, their gutsy TD on 4th-and-3 at the end of the half for Iowa is going to be very important.

Ferentz seemingly has no clue regarding 2 point conversion strategy. I guess it should have been converted but that was very strange timing for a 2 point attempt.

I don't think anything changes really. It gets a little messier in the Big Ten if Penn State gets to the Big Ten championship game though. Still a lot of football left.

Yes. Both a lot of football left today and the next few weeks. Was more curious to see what might happen next week with the committee's rankings.

I think definitely Ohio State and Louisville get in there somewhere. Clemson is probably the loser that is still in the field. But that's just based on what they've done so far, they could well change their mind again.
