A bright light flashes again and blinds you. When your vision returns you feel slightly different as if something has changed. Has someone used the cube yet again? If so, who and for what ends? Will you ever receive anymore information or are you forever banished to the land of ignorance?

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a third party, but there's no guarantee that we'll all tell the truth if we reveal either, with a villain saying he's a hero or vice versa.

A team reveal certainly is not going to be something we can accept at face value, but it will at least give us a new layer of information to work with, and allow us to start focusing on determining what is true and what is not, the basis of all WW games. Plus, it allows us to work together as teams and see what comes of that as well.

I don't like this idea because of the possibility of items/powers that can be used specifically on one person, which seems to be a pretty high likelihood in these kinds of games. I know nothing about this universe but I'm guessing there are relationships between good guys and bad guys and potentially one bad guy could have a power that takes out multiple good guys in one shot or as a NK ability if he can identify them. I could see that, but I still think the potential benefits outweigh the negatives, especially given we're not revealing names.

I always prefer three horse races on "random" days like today to two, so that we have a higher chance of actually getting information out of the vote. So I will vote up mckerney to get him even with Telle and one behind The Jackal.

I'm guessing some kind of powers (or PM rights) are being granted to players, but that is 100% guesswork.

This is based on you (Chief) suggesting that you didn't have powers yet, coupled with me not having them either ... but hoping that I might at some point.

I am guessing you're right, but what determines what is happening there? Is it random? Or predetermined? Or did someone start with an ability to make these happen? Or maybe someone has the cube?

I do not like the idea of everyone revealing their side. To me that doesn't make sense for anyone to do unless they want to hurt their team by signaling out what side they are on.

A back and forth discussion for most of the day led to 3 people being suspected of treachery. A late move by several sealed the fate of mckerney. Mckerney was brought to the open space in field where you had all gathered and chained to the spot. The heavens opened and a white light shot down piercing mckerney, killing him.

Everyone rushed to the body. Who was mckerney REALLY? Was he good or evil?

What a crazy wiki bio for that character.. it seems like most of the time he was leaning towards the side of evil just because he was anti-humanity, but also teamed with Captain America and disavowed violence at one point.

But he was also part of the Illuminati (hey, CF!). Sounds like he could be good, evil, or neutral. I'd lean towards evil just because of his often opposition to the Fantastic Four but it's pretty hard to say. I guess I'm just hoping evil at this point.
