Woohoo! One of the Traveling Molina Brothers! (sorry, it's a little inside joke with some friends of mine- we've decided they're a catching troupe that escaped from the circus along with the Crumplers Traveling Tight Ends)

When scoreboard watching, we also like to say a team and then say "Name that Molina" and guess which one was on that team. But at that point we're just making answers up since we don't even know which is on which team currently, much less in the past. It's about to get more fun as a couple of them are getting to Paul Bako-journeyman stage

I'm heading out for the night around 3:30 today and won't be back till around 10 PM. I'm hoping we can cruise through the next few picks so that I can go before I leave but a heads up to everyone that if I'm on the clock after 4 PM I will need to take most of the allotted time.

edit- Can I send someone at the opposite end of the draft my list? I would prefer to send the list to someone that drafted at 14.1-14.3 and at the end of the 15th round. I'd rather not send my (potential) next two picks to someone drafting around me.

no, that would be Bengie Molina. Yadier is the can-throw can't-hit brother, and Jose Molina is the can't throw, can't hit brother.

Bengie hits for more power but AVG wise he and Yadier are both right there.

I can't help with the opposite end of the draft, but you're going to have both of your picks before I'm up again, if you want to send to me. I'll be checking regularly the rest of the night but will be in and hour (drive home, make/eat dinner, shower, etc).

It turns out I will be able to check from my iPhone around 6:30 PM so look for my pick then. I've crossed Weaver off my list.

I think he'll go 25/90 but I think he still strikes out too much for a high average- I'm not sure that's good enough for "break out". Still, that's pretty good for a 3B- I was going to pick him next round

Just a bump- PackerFanatic has about an hour left until his first pick. Then another 6 hours until pick 2. I will be gone most of this morning- dentist appointment.

Leave it to a packer fan to be this late :-)

Should we give him the top guy on the list?

I realize we still have to wait another 6 hours because he has two picks in a row, but I hate when things slow down like this.

What time does PackerFanatic's first pick window expire? Wieters would be the guy.

This might be overkill given my team, but he has led the NL in saves the last two years and in my very humble opinion I think he could be one of the top guys left on the board.

I just got back from my dentist appointment. As I have said before, someone could have made the pick since it expired at 9am, but as that didn't happen, he got who he got. In the end, that's better since people respond better to their team

Oh, and PackerFanatic, Wag of the Finger for not checking last night

Winning the week in saves by 1 yields the same result as if you win by 10.

In theory those guys will help with WHIP and ERA but with the small amount of innings they pitch it won't be a big boost. I just hate closers because every year i think 30-40% of the guys that start the season as the closer do not finish or lose the job during the reason and regain it again later.

I don't see a whole lot of .290/.375/.500 with 25 HR/90 RBI sitting on the board anywhere in terms of potential, much less "guaranteed". I'll put that in my OF slot with pleasure
