Sad but true about Moussassi....his facial expressions and body language are probably holding him back more than anything to do with ability. It always feels like you're watching him spar. Kinda reminds me of Overeem's vibe.

Noice, I'll probably track it down on a stream/torrent somewheres. In terms of history/personality, I'm more of a Lauzon fan, but I'm certainly used to seeing him lose. I was surprised at how lean/mature Diego looked at one of yesterday's events, I suppose he's an elder statesman of MMA by now.

Lauzon could be an great MMA blogger when he's done fighting - I saw a youtube video a while ago where he put together an video analysis of how long it took various MMA fighters to release submission holds after a tap. Nice to see him win.

Zach Morris up next.

Don't get FS2. So now I have to wait for the damn Indians/Yankees game to get over. Calling bullshit.

This Pena/Zingano fight was one I was really looking forward to. I know Zingano has wins over both girls in the main. I think either one of them could be tough fights for whoever wins in the main.

And on another note. Look at how far women's MMA has come since UFC 100!

Pena controlled Zingano quite well. Cat did a good job getting out of the choke attempts.

That was vintage. I didn't think that would end in the first. When he's on and healthy, Cain is damn near unbeatable.

Tonight we'll find out the mental state of Aldo after that title loss. A complete domination by Edgar may signal the end of his era.

I'm almost scared to watch the DC/Silva fight. DC is going to have a good 25-30 pounds and maybe more on Silva.

Nobody picked Lesnar to win tonight. The smart picks from the fellow fighters.

Edgar is giving it everything in there, but I don't think he's going to get the W in a decision. Aldo hit is groove around the 4 min mark of round 1 and after that he just kind of cruised in there.

Body language is everything. Edgar knows he lost. Aldo knows he won.

Silva did everything that you would expect from a guy fighting up a weight class on 2 days notice against the champion. No hurting the legacy with that extremely difficult fight.

Yeah, he did what he could. DC did what he needed to do to win it (regardless of the booing fans).

So the Womens match is the Main Event now? Wonder if Dana will ever trust Jones again?

I wonder how much this cost the UFC tonight? I am very casual(basically check the results) a few years ago I would buy a couple times a year. I was actually considering buying tonights because of the strong all around card but just couldnt pay the $50 without that one must see match like Jones/DC would have been.

Brock probably didn't turn any WWE fans into UFC fans with this performance (like he did for me when he beat Shane Carwin), but it was still fun to see him dominate a legit guy. I hope he can somehow fight again.

I am, it's been a good night. The fights have been solid, seeing all the top fighters, each matchup is meaningful. It's been well worth the money.

Jones is going to get 2 years in all likelihood. After that he's going to come back from the bottom again. I'm sure he'll get another shot, but he'll probably come back at heavyweight.

And so the women's Bantamweight division now looks like Rousey losing was the best thing ever. They actually have a few meaningful fights to make again. Rousey had pretty much cleaned out the division. Now it's much more interesting.

Tate lays another egg. She's so hot and cold as a fighter. Very hard to count her out, but totally unreliable as a dominant fighter.

Tate was lucky in her last fight. Plus the fighter that struggles to make weight usually loses since IV bags aren't allowed anymore. Miesha went for the payday.

UFC sale is official, Dana White is staying on. Really nothing different than has been reported for the last few months, but there seems to be a lot of effort to convince the fanbase that for now, nothing will change in the organization and presentation of the promotion. White seemed to indicate on twitter that Joe Rogan was staying as well. I'm guessing the big thing is that they'll have more money to expand globally.

UFC sold for $4 billion; Dana White to stay on as president

UFC confirms that Brock Lesnar has been notified by the USADA of a "potential Anti-Doping Policy violation"

Sample taken June 28, results not received until July 14th (days after UFC 200).

The process now begins.

Looks like a huge hypocrite now after he dogged Jones for the same. UFC has been taking some hits since Usada took over their testing.

Am I the only person who had the whole "me thinks he doth protest too much" vibe about Lesnar's response in the days/weeks leading up to 200?

Least shocking news ever. You would have thought UFC would have wanted to take some steps to make sure he was clean though, given the situation

It looks like USADA has finally pierced that millionaire superstar veil of staying a step ahead of the testers and masking.

It takes about 3 months for the violation and punishment to be "final." The fighter gets to claim a defense and appeal, but can't fight in the meantime.

First-offense is a two years suspension unless you can prove that you took a tainted supplement which contained a banned substance that wasn't on the ingredient list. For that they've bumped guys down to 6 months. (Even though I think some supplements are known for being shady, so it can be a subtle way of cheating if you know which ones have non-label substances).

I'm just going to go with the idea that Lesnar knew he only had 1 UFC fight left anyway, so he knowingly and purposefully ate every banned substance he could get his hands on, and then talked a bunch of shit about Jones, for the lolz.

Saw the picture of Mr Cyborg Santos' broken skull from his fight over the weekend. I think GEEEEZUS!!, is really the only response for that.

That fight was pretty brutal, or at least the ending was. Cyborg immediately grabbed his head and crumpled in pain....and then Page threw a Pokeball at him. Bellator, ladies and gentlemen!

In one of the undercards for the McGregor-Diaz fight, Anthony Johnson knocked out Glover Teixeira in 13 seconds. Teixeira got rocked so hard that when he came to he tried a take down move on the ref, thinking the fight was still going on.

How do they think that it's 1-1? Yeah, Diaz did well in the last minute but McGregor owned him and knocked him down in the fist 3 minutes.
