Thread fixed. Making notes for myself and other mods - I couldn't find a handle to delete it from within the thread, so I went to the author's page, whistled past the "one-click-ban-and-clean" box with some sliiiiight hesitation, and then selected that post and went to the bottom of the page for the mod tools. That worked, it appears.

Not sure where else to post this but having problems with the "Random Posts" thread. Not sure what happened but whenever I go to the thread and click on the LAST PAGE (419?) it stop loading everything after the post I made with the monkeytail beard article. It doesn't show the picture I posted for me altho I know they are there (that's why i posted it twice as I couldn't see the first one).
I tried clearing my cache files in browser history but that didn't work. Not sure what happened. Maybe my browser died while loading and got corrupted.

But this is still happening.

Interesting...well it started when I made that article post. And it wouldn't let me edit it. I think the pictures are fine. Maybe that link I posted broke the page somehow.
Maybe an admin deleting those last 4 posts I made there could help?

This gets weirder. From the main menu I see that the Random thread has been posted in at least twice since it went buggy ... but those posts aren't visible to me and the thread is still stuck on the monkeytail beard article for me.

yeah. If you go to any page of that thread but the last one, things work normally and you can still add posts.

Even on that last page the Post Reply button at the top does work and it is there you can see the latest posts when you scroll down

I don't know that I'm going to be able to fix this one. Not working through normal methods, and OS keeps moving phpmyadmin, so I can't just rip the post out of the db right now. If they will point me to the new location, I can probably just remove the offending text entirely, but they're not typically fast to respond...

I don't know if it helps but if I put Crimson Fox on the ignore list, the Random thread is back to normal. Just testing as I know this was the case before for other members.

So putting him on ignore caused the crap characters in his post not to junk up the rest of the HTML in the thread, and that allowed me to delete the problem post. he had like 6 straight posts in the thread and I wasn't going to sift through all that to figure out which one, so all of them went.
