How do you watch your sports?
Sports fans are hostages in carriage disputes and we often pay the ransom
This seems like something that would be of interest for this crowd. Poll forthcoming. Here is the full question from the article. With RSNs, sports channels, and local network affiliates more commonly being blacked out via carriage disputes, what have you had to purchase to ensure you've the games you prioritize watching in addition to any existing cable/sat service you have?

I can't recall a single game I've missed because of this. Always threats, but never an impact.

I need multiple options. Ann antenna for broadcast and SlingTV for cable. I haven't been able to watch Atlanta United local broadcast last year (though it was a great season not to have that access) or the Hawks or Braves (who I don't care about) since Sinclair couldn't get a deal done with YTTV (who I had at the time).
I REALLY hope Sinclair gets its Direct to Consumers thing out this year in early Spring.

Between DirecTV and ESPN+ I have everything I need. In fact, with ESPN+ streaming secondary sports, I get more than I ever thought I would. I've seen my own kid play on TV (streaming) which I never thought would be possible.

Have never been that desperate.
My wife is probably 90% of the live sports viewing in the house when the kid isn't here. I'll room surf but rarely can I sit through every play of a game, preferring to online scoreboard all the in-progress games. Stresses me less. Live sports in fall is the primary reason we still have Dish tho.

I get accounts or descriptions of the games without the express written consent of the NFL.
