I love this thread! So great to see these kids growing up over time.

Here's a few pics of my oldest. He was 2 when I joined FOFC. Hard to believe he's 14 and a freshman in high school.

Getting his first JV pitching start against Fairfax HS.

Starting Safety and defensive captain (and RB and PR/KR and Gunner) for Freshman football team.

Love this shot. He normally plays third except for when the regular 1B pitches.

Haha, this is fun. Here is the picture I posted in this thread back in 2003, 10 years later, and here she is at the age of 12!

She also now has two other sisters since then too that joined the family...

Thanks. Those outfits are so silly for infants though. My sister-in-law spends who knows how much for my son to wear it one time for a picture.

My family is from Cincinnati and I grew up a Bengals fan and Reds fan. I loved the Pete Rose/Davey Concepcion/Mario Soto teams. Eventually the baseball Cardinals wore off on me but we lost the football cardinals and I never cared much for NFC football anyways. I'll still pull for the Reds (except that punk Phillips ) if the Cards aren't in it but that rarely happens.

I can relate. I have daughters that have birthdays Feb 9 and Feb 21 with Valentine's day firmly between the two. For about 2-3 weeks there I have no money!

Take 1 motorized camera + 1 really long pole + add a bunch of gizmos + kids who were happy to miss classes all day = the school's first ever live webcast of state tournament tennis

My kid would be the one wondering why the hell the school's AD felt the need to take a picture

*For anyone who might wonder, there was zero chance that my JV Tennis child would be pressed into service for today's match, so he was more than happy to revert back to his webcasting role for the day

Subby, I noticed your son is playing for McLean High and that name sounded familiar but I couldn't figure why until now. A buddy of mine had been coaching for Langley High. I haven't seen him in a few years so looked him up and he's no longer there as of this year and is now at a prep school in Delaware...weird.

Anyway, small world and all of that jazz.
