Well, we overpaid for Patterson's skills, but this ought to give us some continuity at the QB position, which this team has really never had.

Ya sorry, it's my friend Tyler. We've been playing sports sims together for over 15 years now but he's always been a console gamer. Last year I finally convinced him to buy a computer so his children don't grow up retarded and also so he could play FOF with me

I've been trying to get him to join this league as our house league is very similar in structure to this with the season being simmed in one day with no injuries but he's been put off by the idea of the free agency scramble and his lack of familiarity with message boards. He came to visit me for a few days so I took the opportunity to get him signed up and hold his hand through the first free agency.

He's already mucho addicted to the league, the thrill of being able to build his 49ers from scratch has him really excited about the upcoming seasons so if he doesn't post much it's because he's afraid of computers not because he's anti-social

I'm working on one more RL friend to join up, an NFL fanatic who used to play hattrick so I think he'd like playing a real "football" sim.
