Detroit stepping down

The great thing about this league is that just about every stage is meaningful.

I can't keep up with the schedule though. I wish the league success.

If we drop to 16 owners, would it be possible for each owner to operate one team in each conference?

I think that would be fun as hell.

No trading between teams you own, but the goal of playing yourself in the title game would be fun.

I'd be in for that Julio, but it would take 16 fairly dedicated owners and I don't know if we'd have enough people willing to put that much time into it....

I'd be for it, but does everyone really want to see an all Alan, all Ben or all Quik Super Bowl? ;- )

OK, I'll quit disrespecting everyone else now

I am fine with running two teams...but I think if we do that we should determine the annual champion based not on just the superbowl win...maybe come up with a points system? Something insanely nerdy.

This is kinda funny. I run a MP league between me and my best friend, we each control one team in each conference and the annual champion is determined by points awarded for yardage for and against, points scored and allowed, and extra points for playoff performance. Looks like we were onto a good idea, cuz we're crazy nerdy for the sports sims.

A surprising amount of support for the idea so fa but it would probably hing on Ben's willingness to pull it off and he seems like a busy son of a gun these days. It would take 16 All-Star owners. It would also be quite hard to fill any voids left when owners retired.
