Paddy Ryan's losing streak continues and he has now stated that he is considering retirement.

Jake Kilrain, the other fallen contender, makes a statement that he's not done with a 4th round KO of Johnny Woods.

Tom McAlpine looks unstoppable in the middleweight division. He's won his last 5 fights by KO (4 of them by TKO). His last two occuring in the first round.

Irish Jack Burke vs. WC McClellan
August 12th, 1882

Common Opponents
Bud Barlow: Burke W TKO4, McClellan W TKO1
Conway Farrell: Burke W KO1, McClellan W TKO3

Ding....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Burke started off by stunning McClellan with his first punch. McClellan recovered however, and survived the round. (Round to Burke, 10-9)

Round 2: A pretty slow round which Burke won with a few clean shots near the end. (Round to Burke, 20-18 Burke)

Round 3: Burke seems to have McClellan all figured out as Burke is controlling the entire round. McClellan can't seem to get anything going. (Round to Burke 30-27 Burke)

Round 4:
McClellan finally gets through and lands a crushing straight right that had Burke covering up for most of the round. (Round to McClellan, 39-37 Burke)

Round 5: McClellan easily wins the round. However, he was deducted a point for a low blow. (Round Even 9-9, 48-46 Burke)

Round 6: A slow round mostly controled by Burke. He landed a crushing uppercut to end the round. (Round to Burke, 58-55 Burke)

Round 7: Burke controled most of the round, but a late rally by McClellan makes the round close. (Round to Burke, 68-64 Burke)

Round 8: Burke hits the canvas with a minute left to go in a slow round. He answers the count and covers up for the rest of the round. He's still ahead on my score card, but will he come back from the knockdown? (Round to McClellan 10-8, 76-74 Burke)

Round 9: McClellan seems to have more energy at this point. Burke is starting to tire and I think the knockdown from the previous round took a bit out of Burke. McClellan easily dominates this round. (Round to McClellan, 85-84 Burke)

Round 10: Burke answers the round 8 knockdown with a wicked cross that put McClellan down early in the round. McClellan was out on his feet for a bit but manages to survive. (Round to Burke 10-8, 95-92 Burke)

Round 11: Burke started the round off well, but McClellan gets his head cleared and comes back strong. Near the end of the round, McClellan landed several huge shots that had Burke hurt. (Round to McClellan, 104-102 Burke)

Round 12: Both fighters took this round off. Neither did anything. (Round Even, 114-112 Burke)

Round 13: McClellan seemed to control most of the round, but Burke comes on strong and dominates the last minute, landing a few stunning shots that had McClellan hurt. (Round to Burke, 124-121 Burke)

Round 14: McClellan again controlled most of the round, except this time he landed several power shots that hurt Burke. Burke tried to come back late in the round. (Round to McClellan, 133-131 Burke)

Round 15: Burke completely dominates the last round, though nothing significant happened. (Round to Burke, 143-140 Burke)

My Scorecard: 143-140 Burke
Ringside Expert: 145-138 Burke

Judge 1 scores the bout 143-140 for Irish Jack Burke

Judge 2 scores the bout 144-141 for WC McClellan

Judge 3 scores the bout 143-140 for your winner.....and STILL MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, IRISH JACK BURKE!

Gerald Tickering vs. Ronald Finlay
Aug 21st, 1882

Common Opponents
Lawrence Wald: Tickering W TKO5 & W KO2, Finlay L UD10
David Olson: Tickering W UD6, Finlay W UD6

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Tickering easily dominates the action in round 1. (Round to Tickering, 10-9)

Round 2: Tickering is easily scoring points, but hasn't landed anything with any power behind it. (Round to Tickering, 20-18 Tickering)

Round 3: Tickering let's go in this round. He dropped Finlay early but he got up without much trouble. Tickering then started to unload on him. With about 30 seconds left, he dropped Finlay again and this time, Finaly could not get up.

The fight comes to an end at 2:38 of the 3rd Round, your winner and NEW WBG BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, GERALD TICKERING

Billy Edwards vs. Edward McDonald
October 21st, 1882

Common Opponents
Kirk Smyth: Edwards W MD6, McDonald KO2

Edwards vs. McDonald history
January 15th, 1882: Edwards beat McDonald by UD10

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: McDonald completely controlled the entire round. Edwards couldn't get anything going. (Round to McDonald, 10-9)

Round 2: Opposite of the 1st round, Edwards completely dominated this round. As the bell close, Edwards landed the first hard shot of the fight so far. A solid hook that stunned McDonald. (Round to Edwards, 19-19)

Round 3: A slow round. With about 40 seconds left, Edwards started to unload on McDonald. (Round to Edwards, 29-28 Edwards)

Round 4: A close, back and forth round. A huge flurry at the end of the round steals it for McDonald. (Round to McDonald, 38-38)

Round 5: McDonald gets off to a nice start, but Edwards comes storming back and dominates most of the round. (Round to Edwards, 48-47 Edwards)

Round 6: A slow round with not much action. (Round to Edwards, 58-56 Edwards)

Round 7: A slow round again, but with a bit more going on than the previous round. This time McDonald gets a slight nod. (Round to McDonald, 67-66 Edwards)

Round 8: The fight has pretty much slowed to a crawl. Edwards was a bit busier. (Round to Edwards, 77-75 Edwards)

Round 9: A round much like the previous one. (Round to Edwards, 87-84 Edwards)

Round 10: McDonald lets loose. He dominated the round, but Edwards was never hurt. (Round to McDonald, 96-94 Edwards)

Round 11: McDonald seems to have waken up. Not as much as last round, but he controled the round. (Round to McDonald, 105-104 Edwards)

Round 12: A slower round. Edwards was the better this time. (Round to Edwards, 115-113 Edwards)

Round 13: McDonald went after Edwards in this round. He wins the round for his agressiveness and the punches he landed, but Edwards again was not hurt. (Round to McDonald, 124-123 Edwards)

Round 14: McDonald again went after Edwards. Edwards skillfully avoided his agression, but still got hit, but not hurt. He wasn't able to offer much of a counter attack, though. (Round to McDonald, 133-133 Even)

I have it even going into the final round. So does the ringside expert.

Round 15: McDonald again went after Edwards, but this time Edwards not only avoided him, but did give him a good counter attack and easily won the round. (Round to Edwards, 143-142 Edwards)

I have it 143-142 Edwards
The ringside expert has it 143-142 Edwards

Judge 1 scores the bout 144 to 141
Judge 2 scores the bout 145 to 141
Judge 3 scores the bout 144 to 142

All for your winner by unanimous decision, and STILL WBG LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, BILLY EDWARDS!

December 29th, 1882

Common Opponents
Jeffrey Caudle: Foley W KO1, Elliot W MD6
Charles Cooley: Foley W UD6, Elliot W UD6

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: A pretty even, slow round until the end when Foley unloaded on Elliot and had him stunned and covering up. (Round to Foley, 10-9)

Round 2: A replica of the 1st. An eve, back and forth round with not a lot of action until the end when Foley stunned Elliot again. (Round to Foley, 20-18 Foley)

Round 3: This was a back and forth round with some action. This time, it's Elliot putting the final touches to the round as he had Foley hurt at the end. (Round to Elliot, 29-28 Foley)

Round 4: A slow round. Elliot took charge at the opening bell, but Foley comes back after a minute and controls the round the rest of the way. (Round to Foley, 39-37 Foley)

Round 5: A slow, even round. Not much at all happened. (Round to Foley, 49-46 Foley)

Round 6: A very slow round that ended with Foley almost on the canvas. Elliot landed a crushing uppercut that had Foley out on his feet as the bell rang. (Round to Elliot, 58-56 Foley)

Round 7: A slow round with Foley controlling the action. (Round to Foley, 68-65 Foley)

Round 8: Finally, some action not happenign in just the final 10 seconds. A back and forth brawl occured in this round as both fighters were hurt and stunned at least twice. Foley got the better of it, though, as he had Elliot running for his life for much of the last 30 seconds. (Round to Foley, 78-74 Foley)

Round 9: Elliot's left eye is starting to swell up. Elliot came out looking to knock Foley down, and he had him stunned at one point, but Foley managed to keep Elliot away and scored some points from outside. (Round to Foley, 88-83 Foley)

Round 10: Elliot again comes out trying to knock Foley's head off, and this time Foley couldn't stay away. Elliot landed a lot of clean shots in this round and easily won it. (Round to Elliot, 97-93 Foley)

Round 11: Now Foley's left eye is showing signs of swelling. In this round, Foley essentially shut out Elliot as he gave a boxing clinic and had Elliot staggering a few times. (Round to Foley, 107-102 Foley)

Round 12: Foley drops Elliot at the start of the round. Elliot barely makes it back to his feet and spends over a minute taking punishment. With a minute left in the round, Elliot was completely out on his feet and the referee jumped in and stopped it.

The fight ends at 1:54 of the 12th round, your winner by technical knockout, and STILL WBG HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, LARRY FOLEY!

Where the heck is John L. Sullivan?
You ask...well....

I kind of messed up. Everyone started with 1000 performance points (how the fighters are ranked). Except for 2...George "Old Chocolate" Godfrey and John L. Sullivan. I had accidently left their points at 0. So it's taking awhile for them to get into the top 10. They are right outside the top 10, though, and I expect to see both of them fighting major fights soon. (Currently Sullivan is 13th and Godfrey is 17th)

VS.
Billy Baker 7-2-2 (1)

Common Opponents
WC McClellan: Burke W SD15, W UD6, Baker: L UD10, D
Jimmy Murray: Burke W TKO15, Baker W UD10

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Burke dominated the round and landed a couple of big shots. (Round to Burke, 10-9)

Round 2: Baker comes back strong and controls the action in the 2nd round. (Round to Baker, 19-19)

Round 3: Burke's left eye has started to swell. Hardly anything at all happened in his round. (Round to Burke, 29-28 Burke)

Round 4: Baker put a beating on Burke in this round. Not only did the swelling of Burke's left eye get much worse, but now his right eye has started to swell as well. (Round to Baker, 38-38)

Round 5: Burke comes on strong and wins the roung, but Baker put up a fight. (Round to Burke, 48-47 Burke)

Round 6: Burke comes on strong in the first minute, but Baker slowly gets back into. With 10 seconds left and the round looking even, Burke staggered Baker with a huge uppercut that most likely won him the round. The swelling around Burke's eyes is getting worse. (Round to Burke, 58-56 Burke)

Round 7: Baker completely dominated the round and now Burke's eyes are badly swollen. (Round to Baker, 67-66 Burke)

Round 8: Burke looked very tired out there, but he fought as hard as he could as Baker came at him. They went back and forth and in the end, it was impossible to choose a winner for the round. (Round Even, 77-76 Burke)

Round 9: Aside from a few power shots that hurt, Baker completely controled the round. (Round to Baker, 86-86 Even)

Round 10: Not much occured in the round until Baker came on strong with about 20 seconds left. (Round to Baker, 96-95 Baker)

Round 11: Another round where Burke doesn't do anything and Baker scores from the outside. (Round to Baker, 106-104 Baker)

Round 12: Burke came after Baker, but tired and his eyes half swollen shut, Burke wasn't able to to anything as Baker landed at will from outside. (Round to Baker, 116-113 Baker)

Round 13: The action continued as it had for the last couple of rounds. Burke manged to land a stunning hook that hurt Baker for a moment. As the round came to an end, baker managed to drop Burke to the canvas. Burke was saved by the bell (count of 1). (Round to Baker 10-8, 126-121 Baker)

Round 14: At this point, it's looking like Burke will ne a KO to win. He tried to get at Baker, but Baker easily avoided and landed at will. (Round to Baker, 136-130 Baker)

Round 15: Burke is just out of it. Baker was content to just stand back and land the occasional shot from the outside. (Round to Baker, 146-139 Baker)

I had it: 146-139 Billy Baker
Ringside Expert: 146-140 Billy Baker

All 3 judges score the bout the same, 146 to 139....all for your winner....and NEW WBG MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF ThE WORLD, BILLY BAKER

Tickering vs. Baxter History
4/21/1881: Tickering won UD6

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Baxter dominated the round's action, but didn't land anything that hurt Tickering. (Round to Baxter, 10-9)

Round 2: A good back and forth round with Baxter getting the better of it. (Round to Baxter, 20-18 Baxter)

Round 3: A close back and forth round for the first two minutes, but then Tickering completely takes over and dominates the last minute of action. (Round to Tickering, 29-28 Baxter)

Round 4: Tickering controls the entire round. Near the end of the round, Tickering landed a shot that looks to have cut Baxter's mouth. (Round to Tickering 38-38 Even)

Round 5: Tickering again wins the round but he was warned by the referee to keep the punches up. (Round to Tickering, 48-47 Tickering)

Round 6: Hardly anything happened until the last minute of the round, when Baxter landed a couple of nice punches. (Round to Baxter, 57-57 Even)

Round 7: Tickering completely dominated the action, but never landed anything effective. (Round to Tickering, 67-66 Tickering)

Round 8: Tickering again is in complete control but he's not landing anything that's hurting Baxter. (Round to Tickering, 77-75 Tickering)

Round 10: A very close round. Not much action, though. (Round to Tickering, 97-93 Tickering)

Round 11: Tickering is starting to run out of gas, but he keeps his distance and Baxter can't get inside. Tickering easily stayed to the outside and landed at will. (Round to Tickering, 107-102 Tickering)

Round 12: A very close round that Tickering barely wins, but Baxter is closing the distance. (Round to Tickering, 117-111 Tickering)

Round 13: Baxter just can't seem to get passed Tickering's defense or catch him. Tickering easily wins another round. (Round to Tickering, 128-120 Tickering)

Round 14: Baxter finally breaks down Tickering's defense a bit and wins a round. However, at this point, it's too little and way too late. (Round to baxter, 137-130 Tickering)

Round 15: Baxter made the last round close, but Tickering does enough to take another round. (Round to Tickering, 147-139 Tickering)

Tom McApline (12-0-0 9KO)
VS
Curtis Langham (8-1-3 3KO)

Common Opponents
Bryan Towers: McAlpine W TKO1, W UD6, Langham W UD10, W KO4, D
Rickie Springer: McAlpine W KO1, Langham W UD6

McAlpine vs. Langham
McAlpine won by KO9

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Langham takes a slow first round (Round to Langham, 10-9)

Round 2: An even slower round. Langham is using his defense to keep McAlpine off of him. (Round to Langham, 20-18 Langham)

Round 3: A very close round won by McAlpine with some late action. (Round to McAlpine, 29-28 Langham)

Round 4: McAlpine landed a huge shot early in the round, but Langham covers well and McAlpine can't follow up on it. (Round to McAlpine, 38-38 Even)

Round 5: Langham controled the round, however, McAlpine was able to sneak in a stunning uppercut near the end. (Round to Langham, 48-47 Langham)

Round 6: A very slow round with hardly any action at all. (Round to Langham, 58-56 Langham)

Round 7: Some more action this round. Very close. (Round to McAlpine, 67-66 Langham)

Round 8: McAlpine lets it go this round and completely dominates it. He landed a few really hard shots and had Langham stunned and almost out a couple of times. It also looks as if McAlpine hurt his hand after a punch near the end of the round. (Round to McAlpine, 76-76 Even)

Round 9: McAlpine continued his assualt in this round. Langham's right eye starting to swell up pretty fast. (Round to McAlpine, 86-85 McApline)

Round 10: Another round with mcAlpine giving everything he can to Langham. Amazing that Langham hasn't hit the canvas yet, but the referee might not let this beating continue for much longer. (Round to McAlpine, 96-94 McAlpine)

Round 11: McAlpine slows it up some in this round. The swelling around Langham's right eye is getting bad now. (Round to McAlpine, 106-103 McAlpine)

Round 12: Another round with mcAlpine just beating up Langham. Langham's right eye is in terrible shape right now. (Round to McApline, 116-112 McAlpine)

Round 13: With about 13 seconds left in another round where McAlpine just let Langham have it, the ringside doctor stops the fight due to the immense swelling around Langham's right eye.

The doctor at ringside calls a halt to the bout at 2:47 of the 13th Round, your winner by technical knockout and STILL WBG WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, TOM McALPINE!

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Taylor wins an unimpressive 1st round. (Round to Taylor, 10-9)

Round 2: Taylor wins another dull round. (Round to Taylor, 20-18 Taylor)

Round 3: Edwards comes on strong in this round and controls it easily. (Round to Edwards, 29-28 Taylor)

Round 4: Taylor wins a slow round, but the action is picking up a bit. (Round to Taylor, 39-37 Taylor)

Round 5: A good back and forth round. It was dead even until the end when Taylor landed a stunning straight and landed a few strong follow up punches that had Edwards covering up. (Round to Taylor, 49-46 Taylor)

Round 6: Edwards effectively shuts out Taylor in this round. He completely controled the action. (Round to Edwards, 58-56 Taylor)

Round 7: Edwards dominates another round, yet he's not landing anything strong. (Round to Edwards, 67-66 Taylor)

Round 9: Edwards is starting to land some stronger punches now. He easily dominated the round. (Round to Edwards, 86-85 Edwards)

Round 10: Edwards wins another round, however, as the round ende, Taylor landed a stunning hook that opened a cut over Edwards' left eye. (Round to Edwards, 96-94 Edwards)

Round 11: Opening the cut seems to have given Taylor a second wind as he come on strong and won the round. (Round to Taylor, 105-104 Edwards)

Round 12: With the cut closed, Edwards opened up again and dominated the round. (Round to Edwards, 115-113 Edwards)

Round 13: A closer round, but Edwards used his boxing skills to do enough to win another round. (Round to Edwards, 125-122 Edwards)

Round 14: A very slow round. Taylor did a bit, Edwards did nothing. (Round to Taylor, 134-132 Edwards)

Round 15: Edwards dominates the round. (Round to Edwards, 144-141 Edwards)

Larry Foley (9-0-0 5KO)
vs.
Jake Kilrain (14-2-0 10KO)

Common Opponents
Charles Cooley: Foley W UD6, Kilrain W TKO6, W UD6
James McCoy: Foley W UD6, Kilrain W TKO3

Foley vs. Kilrain History
1/25/1882: Foley won by TKO8

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Kilrain wasted no time at all as he came out and landed a shot that hurt Foley. Kilrain completely dominated the round and had Foley stunned several times. (Round to Kilrain, 10-9)

Round 2: Just like that, Foley answers with a huge shot that sends Kilrain to the canvas at the beginning of the round. He answers the count only to have Foley, later in the round, land another shot that caused Kilrain to take a knee. Kilrain was slow to get up, but he beat the count only to have Foley go to work and land shot after shot. Despite it being very close to the end of the round, the referee jumps in to the stop the fight since Kilrain had no defense and was not returning any punches.

The referee calls a stop to the action at 2:58 of the 2nd round, you're winner and STILL WBG HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, LARRY FOLEY[

Gerald Tickering (10-0-0 4KO)
VS
Stuart Maxx (11-4-2 1KO)[/b][/size]

Common Opponents
Miguel Diaz: Tickering W UD6, Maxx L SD6, W SD10
Bill Baxter: Tickering W UD6, W UD15, Maxx: D
Rick Rice: Tickering W UD10, W TKO5, Maxx L UD6
Ronald Finley: Tickering W KO3, Maxx W KO2

Tickering vs. Maxx History
Tickering W UD6

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Tickering controls the round. (Round to Tickering, 10-9)

Round 2: Rickering stunned Maxx twice during the round, which puts him over the top and gives him the round. (Round to Tickering, 20-18 Tickering)

Round 3: Maxx got his shots in, but Tickering again does more and hurts Maxx a few times. (Round to Tickering, 30-27 Tickering)

Round 4: Tickering takes more control of the fight as Maxx barely does anything. (Round to Tickering 40-36 Tickering)

Round 5: Exactly as round 4, Tickering completely dominated the round. (Round to Tickering 50-45 Tickering)

Round 6: At this point, you have to wonder why to let this go on. Tickering is completely destroying Maxx right now. (Round to Tickering, 60-54 Tickering)

Round 7: The reason this is going on is because Tickering has no punching power at all. If he had, this would have been over a long time ago. As it is, Tickering continues to destroy Maxx. (Round to Tickering, 70-63 Tickering)

Round 8: More domination from Tickering. Maxx's right eye is swelling up very quickly. (Round to Tickering, 80-72 Tickering)

Round 9: Tickering finally gets Maxx on the canvas and the ends the fight with a knockout.

The fight comes to an end at 2:42 of the 9th round, your winner by knock out and STILL WBG BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, GERALD TICKERING!

Common Opponents
William Knights: Moonshine WKO1, Stomp W TKO2
Gil Frena: Moonshine W SD10, W SD10, Stomp W UD10
Fernando Juarez: Moonshine W UD15, Stomp L SD10

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: A very close round. When one looked to pull away, the other came back. (Round Even, 10-10)

Round 2: Stomp starts off the round with a bang by stunning Moonshine. Moonshine started to come back, but Stomp stayed ahead. (Round to Stomp, 20-19 Stomp)

Round 3: A slow round with Moonshine doing enough to win it. (Round to Moonshine, 29-29 Even)

Round 4: A very close round. I give it to Moonshine, but can easily go either way. (Round to Moonshine, 39-38 Moonshine)

Round 5: Moonshine ran away with this round. He dominated Stomp. (Round to Moonshine, 49-47 Moonshine)

Round 6: A slow round with Moonshine getting the slight nod. But Moonshine was deducted a point for low blows. (Round to Moonshine - Even 9-9, 58-56 Moonshine)

Round 7: Stomp starts the round with a few stunning shots and takes the round easily. (Round to Stomp, 67-66 Moonshine)

Round 7: Stomp again uses his power and controls the round. Moonshine's left eye has started to swell. (Round to Stomp, 76-76 Even)

Round 8: Halfway through the round, Moonshine again hits low and the referee had enough of it. He DQ'ed Moonshine!

The fight ends at 1:29 of the 8th round, the winner by disqualification, and NEW WBG FEATHERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, STIRLING STOMP

vs.
Jem Carney (9-0-0 4KO)

Common Opponents
Harry Gilmore: Taylor W KO1, W KO1, Carney W UD10
Walter Edgerton: Taylor W MD10, Carney W UD10

Taylor vs. Carney history
Carney won KO10

Ding.....Ding.....Ding

Round 1: Carney starts off fast by dominating the first round. Taylor was hurt a couple of times. (Round to Carney, 10-9)

Round 2: Carney again starts off fast by hurting Taylor, but Taylor recovers quickly and takes full control of the round and had Carney on the ropes covering up when the round came to an end. (Round to Taylor, 19-19)

Round 3: A slower round this time with Taylor doing a bit better. (Round to Taylor, 29-28 Taylor)

Round 4:
Start off slow, but picked up quickly. It was back and forth but near the end, Taylor took complete control and landed a few combinations that staggered Carney. (Round to Taylor, 39-37 Taylor)

Round 5: Carney jumps out ahead quickly as he hurt Taylor early. He had Taylor covering up for most of the round. (Round to Carney, 48-47 Taylor)

Round 6: A slow round with Taylor hardly doing anything. Near the end, Carney let loose and just landed shot after shot. (Round to Carney, 57-57 Even)

Round 7: An action packed back and forth round. Too close to call. (Round Even, 67-67 Even)

Round 8: An even round for the first half, but Taylor takes control as Carney couldn't do anything the second half of the round. (Round to Taylor, 77-76 Taylor)

Round 9: Taylor jumps out ahead early as he lands a few hard shots. Not much happened the second half of the round. (Round to Taylor, 87-85 Taylor)

Round 10: Carney absolutely dominated the round. He had Taylor hurt through the whole round and just beat him from one corner to another. Good enough for a 10-8 round from me. (Round to Carney 10-8, 95-95 Even)

Round 11: The round started off slow, but Carney soon started landed some power punches and had Taylor on the defensive. Some swelling is now visible over Taylor's right eye and he is very tired. (Round to Carney, 105-104 Carney)

Round 12: The swelling is now getting pretty bad. Taylor's right eye has swollen very quickly. Carney now has complete control of the fight and I don't know how much longer Taylor will last. He's tired and has been beaten badly in the last couple of round, including this one. (Round to Carney, 115-113 Carney)

Round 13: Taylor started off on the defnesive and kept Carney at length. He held him off for a minute, but Carney got close enough and started pounding on him by the midway point in the round. (Round to Canrey, 125-122 Carney)

Round 14: Another round with Carney dominating the round. Taylor's right eye is now almost swollen shut. (Round to Carney, 135-131 Carney)

Round 15: As Carney beat on Taylor more and the eye got worse and worse, the referee stops the fight with about a minute to go and has the doctor check out Taylor. The doctor and referee seem to agree that the fight must be stopped.

The fight comes to an end at 1:59 of the 15th round, your winner by technical knock out, and NEW WBG LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, JEM CARNEY!

All of the judges had Carney a head by a few rounds as they all scored round 10 on for Carney.

Round 7: Another close back and forth round, but this time it was Baker doing the better. (Rount to Baker, 67-66 Baker)

Round 13: Both fighters seemed to take this round off. (Round Even, 124-124 Even)

Round 14: Baker used his superior boxing skills to stay outside and score with shots. LaBlanche was looking to get inside and land some power shots, but he couldn't get close. (Round to Baker, 134-133 Baker)

Round 15: LaBlanche again was looking to get inside and this time he did get some shots in, but Baker used his skills and landed all round from the outside. Baker may have won this fight on the last two rounds. (Round to Baker, 144-142 Baker)
