why would you vote for me...i havent done anything except be the only source of information about the M:TG world that you have...weird shit happens in the magical world...all i did was say i have no idea who i was talking to....compared to a freaking doppleganger version on anxiety walking around for 3 months, i dont think that is a completely out of the question occurance.

seriously, think about it, no one here had any idea that i have a box of 5000 magic cards in my closet....if i were a bad guy, would i have offered up any advice or information about how the game worked....no i would have just sat back and used my knowledge to my own advantage or shared it with my wolf friends.

instead, i put a target on my back by showing that i may have additional insights because of my familiarity with the card game. i really think you should reconsider your votes.

I will admit you have knowledge of the Magic game, but I'm not convinced that you offered up anything useful.

its hard to offer up specifics when we dont know how much has been drawn directly from the cards and how much is anxiety's original content.

if i were a wolf, why would i try to help at all...i could have just stayed silent and no one would have been the wiser.

I thought about that as well, which is why Alan is not absolutely trusted. And saldana ... wtf man.

My thoughts was it is far more likely that the bad guys didnt get any indication to how easy or hard it is to bribe various good guys like the good people did. I know my pm told me what the likely result of someone trying to bribe me would be.

I found it interesting that hoops was oblivious to even knowing bribing was in the game (at least publically).

I can't quote a PM, but I am betting I know what St cronin's says about being bribed.

I think Alan put himself out there a little bit with his information - which is either going to lead to a quick death or being vouched for, in all likelihood.

If there is a seer role, and they have reason to think he is making a move here, then he has put himself near the front of the list of people to check. All in all, there has not been a whole lot of risk-taking by this group today in terms of posts.

Deadline is coming up quickly - 75 minutes.

Without any more information coming in, I can tell you who I won't be voting for today:
1.) Saldana - would prefer to have someone who understands this universe around longer, if possible
2.) AlanT - reasons listed above, even if he is voting for me at the moment

Not to latch on too much here, but I am with Alan on this one. And add in that I think it would have been a good strategy for the bad guys to kind of blow off the idea of there being bribes, so it stays under the radar awhile, until they can take advantage of it.

It might be a stretch, but I think it is more than we usually have to go on after one day.

Vote Hoops.

I find it odd also. And why would a tie be bad (unless of course it means no lynch and a freebie for the bad guys)? I don't see any tiebreaker info, might we assume that one of us has the ability to break one?

Saldana's act of random threat then subsequent denial of even saying it was very odd, but I think it's more a sign that he has been manipulated by someone else than that he may be evil himself.

Still musing over who to vote for today, no real obvious guy has jumped out at me as of yet.

There were two votes on saldana, and I believe two on hoops. Plus my vote counts double, so that's a three way tie. And a tie on day 1 is pretty much the dream outcome for the bad guys.

A tie usually means either no lynch, or else that a duke has to blow his role before really collecting any information.

No, because by offering that information you seem helpful and trustworthy. It gives you leverage, which you are using right here. Im not saying it damns you in an way, but i dont see how giving the knowledge(like how many cards you have closet...) is any help, considering i dont see any really good knowledge or anything a wolf would not want to give.

Not trying to screw you here, but you seemed to sway fouts for reasons i dont beleive.

I'm obviously a fan of Cronin trying to avoid seeing me, or one of the two people I said I would prefer not to vote for (Saldana), ending up in a tie today.

Nor did I really want to be stuck in a position of having to make self-preservation votes on Day 1. I'm hoping that chance moves in another direction in the next 45 minutes so I can actually cast a vote towards someone who I wouldn't mind voting for ...

Why are we assuming he was manipulated? If he was, by far it would be you since i thought when i first read the comment it was you since chubby had voted for you.

Im far more likely to believe saldana read the vote as for him and reacted, then realized his mistake but it was too late to change the post. A slip up of sorts, which is the best i see today

I don't know if this is something we want to reveal this early or not, but does everyone have some type of magical ability or are there "simple villagers" in this game?

I will reveal that I have a very modest magical skill.
