I"m content with my vote on Clap. He may just be clap being clap, but to act like we don't know about the whole programmer issue when DT yelled it out in all caps yesterday two or three times just seems like throwing dust in the air and hoping to make a getaway.

well clap - if you had special programmer powers that another didn't have you could have been more clear in your initial PM about them, and about how they were unique and others wouldn't have them.

Man, that would suck for him as a player. But if he's a wolf, Yay.

if you'd told me that...if you'd spelled out more about your powers, i would have been less suspicious. fact is you left it completely vague - you brought the suspicion down on yourself.

this was your pm:

role

Im some far programmer... and I have special privelages with other programmers, but I dont know who they are......so fi someone tells you they are one of the programmers its good for me to know (maybe) probably wont matter

Another day and still the Conspiracy seems to be gaining ground. The Department of Homeland Security reveals that a warehouse full of confiscated arms was raided the previous night. The mere existence of this warehouse is classified and DHS is still trying to figure out what exactly was taken. The Conspiracy is up to something, but what?

Eventually it is decided that the agent who goes by the name claphamsa is not helping the cause. As such you remove this computer expert from your midst and hope that this will be helpful. However, during his "exit" interview you realize that dismissing him harmed only the Government.

Quote:
You are Edgar Stiles, a computer exert you want around in a crisis. You may designate one of the computer experts, including yourself, (see post 2) to be safe from wolf attack for 12 hours. You may not protect the same person twice.

Washington calls CTU wondering if the Government is truly doing everything in its powers to stop the Conspiracy. Hopefully you will have some results to show soon.

How you got to looking for programmers from that role description is kind of escaping me.. It's just semantics, but I'd say fairly important semantics.

Arg, wow. So basically a bodyguard. That would have been helpful to know. I'm always amazed how often the village shoots itself in the foot.

Hmm. Well, back to the voting record I guess. This one hopefully will tell us something. I may return to nfg for my next vote.

So Clap had 8 votes of 21, which is less than 40%. Again, someone's vote counts twice.

Here are the Kwit votes:

KWhit: nfg (482, 2:39 PM) CR (565, 6:44) Brian (579, 7:22) Autumn (581, 7:27) DT (595, 7:39) Telle (598, 7:42) ISiddiqui (599 7:44) Alan (600 7:44) PB (602, 7:44)

Here are the Clap votes:

Claphamsa: nfg (781, 9:21 AM) DT (923, 3:23 PM) Alan T (935, 3:31) Autumn (948, 3:46) Purdue (967, 4:58 pm) Chief (969, 6:01 PM) EF (1040, 7:49) Pass (1046 7:54)

A lot of the same votes, so there is likely a wolf there.

That's good, I'd definitely like to hear from everyone on that list of five. Self-defense doesn't give you an auto-pass but it definitely makes me want to listen to the others more.

interesting. a couple of those i'd say aren't great suspects and were likely just following me. but a couple...more questionable.

I'm pretty sure that I gave quite lengthy reasons for my votes each day. It is easy to have a better voting record as a wolf then as a villager, since the wolves know who else is bad. The true test will be when a wolf finally is on the block and we see who tries to save them.

None of my votes so far have been anywhere close to saving anyone (with the exception I guess if you want to say my unvote of ntn when I did day 1 was to save him, but in that case why would I have voted him when I did in the first place if that was my intent?). So if I was a wolf, one would have to guess none of the others up for the vote so far was a wolf since I haven't shown any motivation to either push specifically for a player to be lynched or for anyone to not be lynched. I simply gave my reasons for voting the person that I did.

I also think people are being overly hard on DT. He gave Claphamsa way more than a chance today to try to help clarify things. Claphamsa did nothing but become overly combative in the thread and really didn't even attempt to try to give any clarification to anyone to save himself really earlier today. In fact Clap was so far over the top, my discussion with DaddyTorgo was partially that I felt he could even be the duke that was almost begging to be lynched. DT disagreed with me on that and was obviously correct in that case.

Anyways, I've been wrong twice.. but not like I've been not giving a reason for my votes.

thanks for making me feel better Alan. I'm hoping we'll have some quality insight to go on tomorrow.

Just a note - I may quite possibly be gone for most of the afternoon tomorrow. If I can get all my stuff done at work I'm going to try to cut out at like 2pm and go down to the Cape to watch a Cape League baseball game tomorrow night, in which case I wouldn't be back until like 10:30 or 11pm.

I'm going to mess around tonight and see what I can do in order to post from my phone (internet explorer on my phone hates java)

Day 1 I simply followed DT as I thought he had a better reason for suspicion than any info I had. Today was mostly the same, though I was saying all day that I thought clap was rather desperately attacking DT. I figured he might have been afraid he was caught out with a fake role reveal. When DT showed that clap was his best bet too I figured it was as good as we had. I don't have any particular reason to vote PB other than the fact that it would shed some light on voting history.

Yikes! I leave for 6 hours and we've already lynched? This game moves fast. I'll have to be aware of that for next time (the next day this game and the next game I'm in)!

Goddamnit. Oh well.

I've read peoples reasons but I really can't see why anyone would have seriously thought Clap was bad given how out there he was.

And clap, you know I like you, but you should have been way clearer. far fat whatever doesn't cut it. This is a game where meanings are important and you've got to play it that way.

Jack goes off the grid for a while and it seems before he did so he took BrianD with him. When Jack re-emerges it's with an unconscious BrianD.
