Today we travel to play Watford in the 6th round of the English FA Cup. Watford is in 10th in the English Championship. They only have one player who worries me. Striker Pat Sneath is a good striker who is absolutely tearing up the EC. He has 29 goals on the year, and is capable of scoring on any level. Pat has just average speed, but he is a skilled dribbler and a great finisher. However, we can key on him as they don't have any other players of concern. On the year, he also has 12 assists. Their defense isn't that good, and their keeper, Andy Ingram, is below average at best.

We are 1-6 favorites.

Today we travel to play Bolton in an EPL Match. Bolton is in 20th while we are in 1st. Their offense is virtually non-existent. Jonathan Spector is their best defender, and none of the others are playing well at all. Their best keeper, Kasper Schmeichel, is out injured. Instead, they will likely start Simon Thomas. Simon is 21 and he still has quite a bit to learn. We should beat them easily.

My scouts have noticed that 16 year old German Striker Jurgen Meer has an astounding skill set aleady. He is fast, skilled, and mentally tough for his age. I decide to try to poach him from Barcelona's system.

If I can get him, he could be a great compliment to Flores.

Today we travel to play Middlesbrough in an EPL Match. They are in 10th while we are in 1st. Their star player has been my former player, Jamie Cook. He leads the team with 4 goals and he leads the team with 3 assists. The offense is weak, but their defense is very strong and it has kept them in games. Jan Lastuvka has been phenomenal in goal this year. Charlie Wilson and Zdenek Chaloupka are playing excellent defense. Zdenek is a 24 year old Czech player who is fast, strong, and has good positioning. However, he occasionally loses track of his man. John Yates is a good right back who is a hard tackler.

Adriano Pinna has told the Daily Star Sunday that he now feels settled in England and on the Manchester United team and he looks forward to playing better football in the near future!

Jurgen Meyer rejected Barcelona's contract offer and accepted our contract offer!!!!

We will have to compensate Barcelona 1.4 million dollars for the 16 year old, but if he pans out, he will be a steal!

He said that he signed with us because he is excited about the prospect of coming to play for me who he thinks is a great manager.

The deal will go through on July 9, 2018. I'll give Gil Prescott a big bonus for finding this kid if he turns out like I think he will.


As I previously mentioned, Gil feels that Jurgen is very fast, has great acceleration. He isn't very strong, but he isn't weak. He has good agility and balance. He has good work habits. He already has a very good shot and is a good dribbler and has a nice first touch. Hopefully, this kid can develop. In 21 league starts with Barcelon's 2nd squad has 10 goals and 4 assists at the age of 16.

Today we travel to play Charlton in an EPL Match. We are in 1st while they are in 16th. Their offense resolves around midfielder Mohamed Sissoko who leads the team with 8 goals and 7 assists. Ryan Smith and Steven Defour are decent strikers. James McFadden gets an occasional relief appearance for them. Ryan Smith relies on above average speed to create most of his goals. With the exception of centreback Scott Murphy, the defense isn't very good. Stephan Andersen has not played well in goal.

Today we host Plymouth in an EPL Match. We are in 1st while they are in 14th place. Their offense has been weak, but their defense has played very solidly. Their leading scorer is striker Bernard Guily with 4 goals and 3 assists. However, he is out injured this match. Their #2 striker, Dean Evans, is also out injured this match. It will be up to midfielder Steve Cox to provide any offense today. Their solid defense is anchored by centreback Liam Parker and right back Mark O'Brien. Mark Hunt is having his best year in goal that I've ever seen from him.

Alberto Flores played well for Spain's U21 team in their 1-0 victory over Hungary. Alvaro Cuevas (Chelsea's young star) had the only goal, but Flores had an 8 for form and was 12 of 12 in passing.

Adriano had 2 assists and a goal in Brazil's 3-1 win over the Czech Republic. Adriano (GK) played well in goal in this match.


Boogaart had an assist for Holland in their 2-1 loss to Chile. Schreurs didn't do much in the match.

I've been told that I have many staff with expiring contracts:

Chrstian Roberts - The 38 year old Physio is doing his job well. He currently makes 2,000/week. I offer him 2,000/week on a 3 year extension.

Ivo Ulich - The talented 43 year old Physio is making 3,200/week. I offer him 3,200/week for a 3 year extension.

Darren Fletcher is a player who is eligible to be a coach, but he doesn't want to sign a coach contract with me at this time.


Jose Luis Runco is a 49 year old Brazilian Physio who is VERY well regarded. He is making 5,400/week. I offer him 5,400/week for a 3 year extension.

Kevin Kilbane is a 41 year old Irish Physio who is also well regarded. He is making 4k/week and I offer him 4,000/week for a 3 year extension.


Wesley Sonck is a 39 year old Belgian Scout. His biggest find for me was Schreurs (who wasn't really anonymous at the time.) He is currently making 1,000/week. He is requesting a raise to 2,200/week. I agree if he'll sign a 3 year deal.


Martin Albrechtsen is a 37 year old physio who is one of my favorite players from back in the day. He is currently making 550/week. He wants a raise to 3,400/week. I agree to his request if he signs a 3 year deal as he is a very good physio.


Tim Howard is 39 and is eligible to be a coach, but doesn't want to sign a coach contract yet.


Neil Hough is a 49 year old English Physio who is very well regarded. He is making 5k/week and wants the same rate. I agree if he takes a 3 year deal.

Today we play Sunderland in an EPL Match. We are in 1st (by 9 points despite playing one less game than everyone else!) They are in 12th place. Their offense has been fairly good mostly due to star striker Pierre Michel. Pierre is a 26 year old French Striker who is one the verge of becoming a true superstar. He has great speed, great acceleration, great dribbling ability, and lethal finishing ability. His only flaw is that he doesn't always play hard. He has 21 goals and 7 assists on the year, and is rumored to be the target of many of the bigger clubs in the upcoming offseason. Midfielder Thomas Hassing Skjaerbaek is the second leading scorer with 7 goals and 8 assists. The midfielder is 31, but is still very skilled despite losing some of his already dubious speed. Steven Taylor is the only midfielder playing well and Luca Brunoni had been injured most of the season which was hurting their defense. He is now healthy and he is playing well the last month which has helped improve their defense.

Wayne Rooney has won the EPL Player of the Month Award. Barbosa came in 2nd, and Jaime Gavilan of Arsenal came in 3rd.


Chris Miller won the EPL Young Player of the Month Award. Alvaro Cuevas of Chelsea came in 2nd, and Ruben Vicente of West Brom came in 3rd.


I won the manager of the month award. Ray Wilkins of the Wolves came in 2nd, and Tony Young of Coventry came in 3rd.




Milan has hired Giancarlo D'Astoli as their new manager. Palermo will now be looking for a new manager.


Parker and Rooney were selected to the EPL Team of the Week.

Today we host Arsenal in the 1st leg of the Quarter Finals of the Champions League. Arsenal has a diversified offense and a solid defense this year. Their #1 threat is speedster Christophe Sanchez. Sanchez has used his top notch speed to score 18 goals and 5 assists. What makes him so dangerous is explosive acceleration to go with great top notch speed. Mauro Di Mauro has developed into an excellent partner. He has great speed, great passing ability, and it is sort of surprising that he only has 5 goals and 9 assists on the year. Hatem Ben Arfa is playing very well on the left wing despite starting to lose his speed. Salomon Kalou is 32, but shows no signs of slowing on the right wing. Jaime Gavilan is clearly the class of the defense, but Marek Mach does well at centreback. Jesus has done well, but not great in goal for them.

Today we travel to play Chelsea in an EPL Match. They are currently in 5th. We are in 1st by 11 points. I believe a win today secures the EPL Title! Chelsea's Alvaro Cuevas is exploding onto the scene. The 21 year old Spanish Striker with excellent speed has averaged almost a goal a game since he became a starter. He has 15 goals, 6 assists, and 2 MoM awards in 18 starts. Stefan De Weerd has been playing good at the other striker position when playing alongside Cuervas as his slowing footspeed isn't as much of an issue. Freddy Adu has been playing better with Cuevas as well, but his stock has really fallen in the past few years and he only has 9 goals and 8 assists on the year. Naldo is playing well at centreback and Petr Cech continues to play well in goal.

Downing was selected to the EPL Team of the Week.

My scouts have found another young striker that screams potential. Olivier Gomez is a 17 year old striker who is refusing to sign a new deal with Niort. I approach him and offer him his requested 7,000/week plus 220,000 dollars to sign with us. This 17 year old would likely be my fastest striker ever.


Andrew Harper who has been with my organization for 2 years signed a professional contract with the team today. The 17 year old left winger/midfielder has very good potential I believe.

Today we host Liverpool in the English FA Cup Semi-Final. Liverpool's offense is very dynamic centering around 3 individuals. Midfielder/striker Stephane Dalmat has 24 goals in 30 starts and he is a dangerous scorer. Dalmat is only 25 and he has a great combination of very good speed and tremendous strength. He is very hard to push around in the box. He has 24 goals and 10 assists on the year. Striker Lebohang Mokoena is 31 and still has excellent speed and great all around skills. He has 19 goals and 4 assists on the year. Nicky Platt is their other striker. The 30 year old is slow of foot, but gets good position and is a nifty passer and a solid shooter. He has 15 goals and 9 assists on the year. Chris Taylor has kept the keeper job that he took from Kirkland when he was injured and Kirkland is unhappy about it. Antonio is a good centreback and Marcos is playing right back well.

Manchester City is in 12th and surging after being in danger of relegation for most of the season. 5 of their players are injured for this match including their leading scorer, striker Gregory Grondin. Their top players this match will be keeper Libis Andres Arenas (unless they surprise me by starting Luca Viola again) and the centreback Guiseppe Corradini.
