I missed this starting. Excellent race there by Errington, wish he could have pulled it out at the end there. McWerter seems to be fairly middle of the pack consistent.
Could you please put my guys down as racing for Russell Racing, Inc.? Thanks!

Hrmm, back and forth for GWN Racing, be nice to see both drivers put together a good race at the same time. Here's hoping the next race is a little cleaner for all the drivers. That seems like a crazy amount of DNFs two races in a row.

I was thinking that too - on the year, only 5 drivers don't have a DNF.

Have to give props to Dean Houston Jr. He was on fire today, but alas bad luck cost him the race. Oh well, there is still a lot of racing left this season, so hopefully we can make up some of those points we are down.

Yeah it has been. The main cause has been damaged cars on restarts causing more wrecks. I would think the rest of the races will be much cleaner. |

Phillips Racing had another so-so day with one driver not finishing as high as we hoped.
Long season ahead let's hope that these rookie drivers can figure out what they are doing so we can have some more guys stay in the race. |

I just want to point out that the #25 car looks in great shape here and that I could be doing quite well if I didn't have the Pizza Hut car coming at my side, that yellow car spinning out behind me, and, oh yeah, the friggin General Lee about to land on me. Seriously, are you guys trying to kill me? |

Yeah, the General Lee is looking rough so far. We seem to be in the middle of a lot of these wrecks. Luke Duke seems to be doing better that Bo at this point, as he finally got a top 10 finish.
Let's see the General Lee caught in the middle running 3 wide at lap 41, both Duke boys running right behind that damnable CW when he wrecked, Steve Bollela spins our right in front of the General Lee, both Duke boys involved with the wreck at lap 79, with the Lee looking like he heads to the wall, just before he goes airborne. Then in the video its Foley that ends up getting Tboned by the General Lee. Dixieland racing has been both lucky and unlucky here, but we always seem to be right in the mix of the things that are going on.

Early on at Charlotte, Chris Snow looked like he was the Chris Snow of old. Moving up quickly from his 21st starting spot Snow took the lead and began to dominate the field. He led for 228 laps and held a 20 second lead on 2nd place. He was well on his way to lapping the entire field when he went for an unscheduled pit stop. No explanation as to why the pit stop was made but Snow fell back a lap and never recovered, finishing 24th. After Snow lost the lead numerous different drivers swapped the lead. Jack Meehoff led for 36, Stroker Ace 33, Robbie DeWeerd 22, Nick Phillips 21, and Steve Bollea for 17 among others. With just over 50 laps left Nick Phillips took lead and looked to be on his way to his 2nd win off the year and 18th of his career when rookie Stroker Ace made a strong run and passed the Sprint Cup veteran. Stroker never looked back and won the race by 1.46 seconds. Phillips was 2nd followed by Daniel Schoonover, William Paige and Boris Elvis. PHP Code:

Top 10 for McWerter, way to listen boy! 12th overall after 4 is not bad. Errington dropped way down after his 2nd place showing in the 3rd race.

Just not good racing unfortunately for Sterling Silvers. I think it's a great car as he keep getting good qualifying times and speeds but when he hits the course with other drivers, he just doesn't have it.
Richmond made 2 weeks in a row where he couldn't avoid the crashes. Then the Coca Cola race, Sterling takes the pole, falls out of the lead after 4 laps, and just settles into 25th place. Ugh. Good job with the pictures and videos. They really add to the dynasty SI

Pictures will be up today from the 600.
I've never seen so many even cars until this season. Everyone seems to have a chance week in and week out. In most seasons a few cars stood out as standouts and no one else had a chance. This season that is not the case. Back in 30th in points sits Chris Snow, and he dominated most of the last race until problems hit. Dean Houston, Jr. sits in 32nd and he almost lapped an entire field earlier in the season. Ron Towers sits last but has been running up with the leaders numerous times. It's definitely going to be an interesting season. Anyone can win it. Last edited by cmp : 03-05-2010 at 10:29 AM. |

Dean Houston, Jr. just may be the king of short tracks here on the FOFC Sprint Cup Series. After dominating Richmond before a crash took him out, Houston, Jr. came to Bristol on a mission. He qualified 2nd, ran near the front all day, and then led almost all of the final 150 laps en route to the victory. Chris Snow may have salvaged a season that was slowly slipping away from him with a 2nd place finish today. His car has been very strong in the last two races now. Sterling Silvers used his second straight pole position to help him with his 3rd place finish. 4th was William Paige and 5th Jack Meehoff. PHP Code:
