EBFL - Weekly schedule
This is a commissioner ruling, no vote needed.
We will have SIX days to get our stuff done every week. If we all finish early, the next week starts earlier. Allowances can be made but let me know in advance so I can alert the entire league. A typical schedule will be: Week 1: 12:01 Monday - 11:59 Saturday Week 2: 12:01 Sunday - 12:59 Friday Week 3: 12:01 Saturday - 12:59 Thursday Etc, etc. Like I said, this should give everyone enough time to play their game and recruit. That stuff vs the computer will probably take two hours tops to do. It'll be tougher vs human opponents just because you need to find a time that works, but it shouldn't be a problem with six days to find an hour or so. |

Question on the mechanics of the game.
If we hit a week where we absolutely cannot get our game in (say we go on vacation) - if we're playing the CPU is there a mechanism for the commish to sim the game? Does anyone know?

From what I read yes, I can just sim that week so even if you miss the deadline you will not nessecarily lose.

Do the mechanics of the game allow for me to play a game one day and finish recruiting at a later date (before the deadline)?

I was wondering this too actually. If our chance to fit the game in comes in tuesday, does that mean you have to do the recruiting beforehand? I'm imaging that there is no way around it since you can have players visit.
