RF Joe Bautista signs a three year contract with the Mets.
RP Jason Motte signs a one year contract with the Blue Jays.
RP Hudson Street signs a three year contract with the Dodgers.
LF Justin Upton signs a four year contract with the Brewers.
1B Edwin Encarnacion signed a two year contract with the Blue Jays.
RP Antonio Bastardo signed a three year contract with the Tigers.
SS Jimmy Rollins signed a two year deal with the White Sox.
SP David Price signed a five year contract with the Cubs.
SP Jeff Samardzija signed a six year contract with the Red Sox.
RP Sean Marshall signed a two year contract with the Dodgers.

2016 Opening Day

Patrick Hutt-Zinto

Patrick is opening the season in A ball as a member of the Asheville Tourists. Before the season he was ranked the 11th best prospect.

Jace Hunter-Travis

Jace is still playing Rookie Ball but has moved to the Appalachian League and is now a member of the Greeneville Astros. He was ranked as the 3rd best prospect before the season.

Mike Schaplowsky-collegesportsfanms

Mike is still a member of the Gulf Coast League Red Sox. He was ranked as the 4th best prospect heading into the season.

Jim Purnson-EagleFan

Jim is starting in Short A Ball as a member of the Spokane Indians. Before the season Jim was rated as the top prospect in all of baseball.

Deacon Palmer-ntndeacon

Deacon is still a member of the Gulf Coast LeagueTwins. Before the season Deacon was ranked the 2nd highest prospect.

With Short A and Rookie league not starting until June I will skip until the end of June unless another player other than Patrick gets promoted.

Jace opens up June in Rookie Ball as a member of the Greenville Astros. He had a fantastic outing against the Kingsport Mets in which he struck out 10.

Mike is starting the season with the Gulf Coast Red Sox once again. He has been roughed up a little this season and will be hoping to turn it around as the season goes on.

David signed with the White Sox receiving a bonus of 4,690,000. He was sent to the Arizona Rookie League to play for the White Sox.

Kuji is still holding out for a bigger contract from the Milwaukee Brewers.

Oli signed a 4,450,000 dollar contract and was sent to the Arizona Rookie League to play for the Diamondbacks.(There seems to be a glitch with Oli where he has stats from playing in the Majors.)

Larry signed with the Twins and received a 6,790,000 dollar bonus. He was sent to Gulf Coast Rookie League where he joined the Twins. Unfortunately he strained his quad on June 28th and will miss a week of July.
