The festivities went on until the wee hours of the morning. After Eaglefan, it was Imthecrew's turn to be cooked and eaten. You witnessed unspeakable horrors as Imthecrew's corpse was picked to the bone. There must be a way out... or you'll end up next on the dinner plate.

Save for the two hours of sleep you got, you've had no rest at all. Noone's talking, every single one of you contemplating your imminent deaths. Then, a woman's voice breaks you out of your depressed state.



Woman: "Who sent you?"

Noone answers, all eyes on the woman in front of you.

Woman: "I'm sorry about your friends... Marcus has certain tastes that he can't shake."

Still no response from any of you.

Woman: "Well, if you're going to shut up, I might as well leave you for Marcus and his friends."

A panicked voice speaks.

McCollins: "We... we've come to look for Lieutenant Eden Sinclair."

Eden: "You don't have to look any further. I'm her. Now, I'm assuming that Minister Canaris sent you out here to kill me, now, didn't he?

McCollins: "No! We're not here to kill you... we need you to help us find Doctor Kane. We need him to find a cure."

Eden: "A cure? For what? The Reaper virus? I already delivered his daughter to you."

McCollins: "She... she's dead. The virus is stronger... stronger than her immunities. We need Doctor Kane to help us find a cure."

Eden: "You London bastards love to fuck things up, no? As for Kane... don't bother. Kane's dead."

McCollins: "W-What?"

Eden: "He's dead. Not that I have to tell you what happened. Of course, if you're looking for someone with the medical know-how, I suppose you're going to need to talk to Johan. Used to be his top assistant."

McCollins: "Let us go... please. We need to find whoever it is that can help us."

Eden: "I don't trust you one bit. But for the sake of humor... I think I will. Granted, you won't last a day without me holding Marcus back from turning the lot of you into dinner. Give me one good reason why I should let you go?"

McCollins: "Because you know what it's like out there... the infected. We need to stop the virus... we need your help."

Sinclair simply stares at McCollins, and then whistles for her escorts to remove your bindings.

[Several hours later.]

The entire team is inside one of the abandoned city administration buildings. Sinclair is there with here escorts along with Marcus and his thugs.

Marcus: "Eden... you're taking their side over ours?"

Eden: "What I do is none of your concern, Marcus."

Marcus: "It concerns the tribe. They killed many of our people! We must demand compensation!"

Eden: "This is not the time for that. Or do you forget who leads the tribe?"

Marcus: "This is bollocks! These bastards came here to slaughter us all... to kill you!"

Eden: "One more word, and I'll cut off your balls and feed it to your "people"."

This silences Marcus, who storms out of the building.

Eden: "Alright. Johan is in Blackness Castle, over by Firth of Forth. He's holed up tight, and I haven't seen him in a long time. It's a long story. And you apparently don't have time for long stories."

Eden's escorts take out the weapons that were previously taken from you. She takes one of the rifles, and throws a couple to her escorts. He hands McCollins a rifle.

Eden: "One gun. For you. The rest of your squad will be given knives and axes. You try to kill me, or any of my men... you're all dead. Got it?"

McCollins nods in agreement. Sinclair whips out a map and lays it out on the table. She points out several key items on the map.

Eden: "We'll have to travel through the mountains via an Armory dump here. Kane will have several patrols in the area, and they're not friendly. I suppose they'll recognize me, but we're not sure. I'll take you as far as Blackness, and from there, it's up to you."

With that, Eden rolls the map again, and throws it aside into a pile of other maps. She turns towards the team.

Eden: "Let's make this quick, shall we? I don't like babysitting twelve grown men."

[On the way to Blackness]

The trip through the mountains is long and hard. It takes you half a day to reach the vicinity of Blackness past the mountains and through a forest. Sinclair pauses and holds her right fist up.

Eden: "Quiet."

Eden pops out her prosthetic right eye, and throws it about twenty yards ahead. She then looks at her transceiver watch, via her eye. She quickly runs and picks up the optical device, and pops it back into her right eye socket.

Eden: "We've got company. Nobody say anything. Let me handle this."

On cue, several horsemen clad in metal armor, reminiscent of medieval knights, begin to surround your party. Archers suddenly appear from behind small mounds that were well-hidden in the woods. You are all surrounded. One of the knights jabs his lance at the ground in front of Sinclair.

Knight: "Been a long time, Sinclair. How are the Marauders?"

Eden: "They're fine. Still a bit carniverous for my tastes, but they follow me without question."

Knight: "And who do we have here?"

Eden: "Several friends of mine. They're lo-"

McCollins interrupts Eden, walking toward the knight.

McCollins: "We're looking for Johan... now, please, ta-"

An archer lets his arrow loose, and hits McCollins square on the adam's apple. He tries to scream and reaches out to Eden for help, drowning in his own blood. Sinclair does nothing, cautious of the very tense predicament the entire party is in. After a few painful moments, McCollins drops dead.

Knight: "You will not speak until spoken to!!! I assume you didn't tell your friend here, Sinclair!?"

Sinclair clenches her jaw, before speaking.

Eden: "I told him to shut up. He didn't listen."

She regains her composure.

Eden: "We're looking for Johan."

Knight: "Johan wants nothing to do with you."

Eden: "He owes me a favor."

Knight: "..."

Eden: "Either you take me to him, or you can tell him that you had to kill me here in these woods."

Knight: "...very well. Come with us."

IMTHECREW HAS BEEN LYNCHED!

I can't undo my mistake, and McCollins should be alive. That being said, the Wolves won't have a night kill for Turn 4. And the game proceeds as normal. That should be fair for everyone. (Except McCollins. Sorry, dude, my bad.)

So, McCollins stays dead, the Wolves have no night kill for Turn 4.

NC that seems to be a pretty equitable solution for it. And it does give us a bit of freedom knowing no one is to be night killed.

well, we're down to 9 people if i count correctly, and if there were four wolves to start that's 6-3 .. we need to take advantage of this no-night kill and find us a wolf .. only positive i guess is that the seer gets another night to scan someone without the threat of being killed, that'll be four scans for tomorrow, gotta turn something up right?

not a bad choice NTN, it buys us 2 more nights of seer scans without fear of losing him. But I'm not sure its worth him coming out unless he's got something really worthwhile.

If he scanned a couple of the dead people then he'd only have at best one name. If he's got 3 live people cleared then I'd say go for it.

I guess the flip side to this is that if the seer is not in danger of getting lynched, and if he hasn't found a wolf, and if the people that are in danger of getting lynched, he might as well see how the vote pans out today, and wait until tomorrow.

I'm not sure how a scenario like that could have actually happened, though.

Once again I'm struck by a move of yours this game. You point out ITC and make a case for him, but then have your vote on someone who votes for him? I've used the "vote is actually for tomorrow" thing before also. When I was a wolf.
