I think it would be useful to repost the list of all teams under 80, especially since the lists in the other leagues didn't include them all. Anyone have the master list available?

why don't you make it if a guy chooses a team that is under 70, he automatically gets homefield advantage?

I don't like that idea, but I do like the idea that the 3 teams with the lowest overall rating get the "extra" home game in each group.

there's no incentive to be a really crappy team. its cool that we eliminate the real powerhouses, but lets get real here - everyone is gonna choose a 79, 77 or 75+ team. it just defeats the purpose of taking away elite teams cuz people will naturally just select from whatever is the best available. maybe i'll just take a sub 70 rated team and eat my own medicine.

the 3 teams with the lowest overall rating will most likely be the teams that are picking last - that wouldn't solve much. since i pick 3rd from last i would just select the highest rated team that is lower than everyone else's. the talent of the actual player (us) really comes into play when you select crappy teams, cuz then it's all about playcalling and knowing how to best utilize the players at your disposal.

Sure, almost everyone is going to pick the mid 70 teams but it does eliminate the true powerhouses that are in the game and could abuse the game's flaw even worse than other teams. I don't think players should get a huge bonus for picking teams in the 60's when we don't know how significant home field advantage is.

Since the teams I have the most attachment to are gone, I'll take a team that looks like they have some fun weapons - Oklahoma State.

I seriously considered them. They have some good weapons too. I looked through the depth chart of about a dozen teams and I'd put them 2nd in talent of the teams left right behind Oklahoma State.

I'm really happy I ended up with them in the East Coast league. Would've given them another run but figured I should switch it up for this.

You know you want to pick UTEP, Galaxy. Trevor Vittatoe to Jeff Moturi ALL DAY LONG. Plus the new 3-3-5 defense will be sure to wreak havoc on your opponents...
