I am freaking impressed that he can still keep to the beat with all of those gyrations.

I've been playing drums since I was 8 and while he is a bit ridiculous it is also really impressive the stuff he does with the sticks, that is not at all easy.

I guess I gotta stop posting stuff in the YT thread. No one looks there anymore? Same thing happened with the hail in the pool vid.

Eh, it's more about thread economy and consistency. But we'll do it this way.

The dude should be playing in a band that does not do covers. I thought it was quite impressive, and if I was there and saw it, I would basically tune everything else out and watch that dude drum it up.

What, you weren't impressed by the "Norv Turner doing his best Bob Saget routine" frontman?

That's what I was thinking too. I've been a drummer for more than 20 years, and doing all of that moving, with the backsticking, and keeping it right on the beat is very nice. I can appreciate that for what it is, understanding how difficult it can be to pull off accurately.

He is the star of the act. Got way more showmanship behind that kit than all of those other guys combined.

I'm amazed that ANY of them can play in those jackets. Having performed myself plenty of times (Bass guitar and Piano), it gets blazing hot up there even in comfortable clothes.
