FOF9 Dynasty with 2024 Player File - Carolina!!!

FOF9 Dynasty -

Hello happy folks! I hope your day is going super mega well! I didn’t realize there was a new version of FOF released until I was looking at the Facebook newsgroup, and since I live here in the Dynasty section, I was surprised that I didn’t see a bunch of new dynasties here for the new game to let me know. We have just a few. Did you know that we used to break the dynasty thread with new FOF dynasties every new release for around a year?

I didn’t want to buy after being let go from my job around 7 weeks ago. But I saw a new roster update today for 2024 and then also I’ve been trying to give my YouTube channel a daily video to increase the hours in the last year to get to 4k so I can monetize it too for the same reason, so I bought it to help out and then thought doing a proper dynasty would be great since that’s what used o happen all up and down the block.

Who do I want to be and under what rules? Normally I’d start out with my favorite team the Jags with a new release, but they have Trevor Lawrence, so that’s probably not the issue we would normally be. Remember my HOF career with Bortles? I do! Anyways, who else?

Here are my choices:

2024 player file
17 games, 32 teams
No X Factor or economics for attendance
Use default teams
Track and reveal scouted ratings history turned on
I Turn off coach stuff. I will make the depth charts, but this is a GM sim not a coach, so we’ll auto sim games and auto make game plans
Injury setting – 120, combine accuracy 100

Which team am I playing?

I typically want the worst roster in the league. The teams that finished last year are Panthers 2-15, 4-13 Cards, Commanders and Pats. The Panthers traded the 1.1 spot to the Bears who grabbed the QB Caleb Williams. Commanders and Pats also went QB with Daniels and Maye. The Cards went WR Marvin Harrison Jr. The Panthers? Their QBs are Andy Dalton and Bryce Young, not a true #1.

I’m feeling the Panthers! Let’s grab them!

Do I want to Empty Cupboard and draft this? Not for my first take in a new game. Here’s my roster:

I am sorting by potential. These are the good ones. We have four in the 60s, 10 in the 50s.

Here’s our rookie class sorted by draft order:

Just one 60s and one 50s in the late draft in the 6th

Here is our first round 1.32 pick:

That’s not bad for that late of a draft pick. His only major weakness is that catching in traffic and securing the ball. Not a bad combo if he’s hit or afraid of tackling. He’s even a special teams ace.

The good of this roster. We do have a great mid 60s WR in Adam Thielen. I get why Legette was taken to work well with him. CB Horn is a great CB at high 60s and then SS Woods’ mid 50s potential is good. We also have a Strong LB Clowney with a high 50. DE Brows is a 63. That gives us one strong player at each D rank to lean on.

We are a 3-4. Our NT is nasty bad in the 20s.

Dalton isn’t as bad as I was hoping with a 50 score. That’s the tied for the 19th best with Dobbs, Daniel Jones and Stidham. With two strong WRs we might have a strong game there

RB Sanders at 57 feels solid. 18th best. RT Moton is a solid 59.

The bad of the roster? The rest of my O Line isn’t better at 49 max and as low as 29 for C. My starting is just 39. NT 11 current, 20 max, DE Ray 38/53. The rest of my LB corps outside of that 50 one spot is all 40s potential and two 30s current. For a 3-4?

Our DB that aren’t Horn and Woods are 40s. P Hekker is 30s, K Pinerio is 25/25. LS Jansen with LS of 42

Do I want to try and build a slightly better roster with my 37.4 cap space to my roster of 75?

Let’s focus on Special Teams.

I sign:

LS Triner – 78 snapping for 2 years at 2.3 mill
K Browder – UFA, stats of 53/74 – three seasons minsal for rookies
P Rob Gill – UFA, three years, stats of 54/59

I cut Jansen, Hekker and Pineiro

Staff:

HC - Dave Canales
, Wide Receivers, Great stuff in Player Development 100, green discipline and scouting and play calling, bad at youth, motivation, interviews and intelligence

OC – Brad Idzik
– 70 at youth, playcalling, motivation – 60 discipline, player dev, bad Int, Scout, interviews, Smashmouth style of Football

DC – Ejiro Evero
– 3-4 – good with 2ndary, 70s, Int, scouting, interviews; 50 mot, play call, bad dev youth, discipline

AC – Harold Goodwin – Good with O Line, 80 Dis and Play calling, 50 Youth lower everything else

Head Trainer – Kevin King – 80 STr training, 50 CON, 40 INT

Before I sign more, any players I want to resign?

DE Brown – 26 years old, 63 skills – signs to 45 mill for 4 years. This costs us cap.

SS Woods – 8th year vet, 54 Fading a bit just wants 14 mill for two years to sign. His cap hit this year is 7.76 mill this would raise to 9.8. I extend him a year

Dalton is on one year, I could loan him a year and then if we do well cap him and if not draft his replacement.

Also, I forgot to mention we have a 54 pot WR too, so three solid ones

I need a good quality:

Starting TE
OC
OG
Three starting LBs

What FAs are free?

I sign:

ILB PJ Lenhart – 59/59, 2.95 mill for one years, 3rd year vet, I couldn’t sign him to a longer deal
OG Ike Richter – UFA, 33/69, three years minsal – didn’t sign agent told me tomorrow
OC Stanley Keiffer – UFA, 24/56, three years minsal
BAP CB M.J. Devonshire – UFA, 37/64 – three years, minsal
BAP OT TJ Rasheed – UFA, 18/61, three years minsal

The TE Market is dead

I cut:

ILB Rhattighan
C Raym
CB Hearn
OT Walton

We sold 68k season tix

Preseason:

I need to have another QB active. I am trying to figure out how to get it done. I handed minor roster updates to it to my staff and simmed the preseason and then I accidentally saved it, rather than loaded it.

Preseason:

Week 2 – At NE; we lost 17-24
Week 3 – Hosting NYJ – We lost 17-7
Week 4 – At Buffalo – We lost a close 19-21

Injuries:

Out – OG Zevala
Doubtful – DE Ray
Question – RB Blacksheer and RB Hubbard

Any final changes I wanna make with my cash?

Since I am a smashmouth I upgrade my FB to Tanner Mitchell, 2 years of experience, stats of 53/57, one year minsal I cut RB Blacksheer and pay him 250k in injury settlement since he’s 27.

Roster for 2024:

Is there a way to export the full roster? You can see we are still in bad need of a better OC, RG, TE, and our RB dropped 5 points, and on D two starting LBs are in the 30s current, and then we have a 49/49 NT but my DC isn’t swapping over named Tuttle. I’ll play my first game and see if they swap over.

Rookie lookie!

The good:

WR Legette – 47/63
CB Smith-Wade – 42/60
K Browder – 55/70
OG Richter – 34/65
CB Devonshire – 38/62
P Gill – 53/53

Good pots there. Two we drafted and inherited

The bad:

NT Smith – 10/19
TE Swinson – 21/33
OT Rasheed – 20/32
TE Sanders – 27/35
CB Bartholomew – 25/38
RB Brooks – 34/36

The rest are just okay in the 40s

Should I swap my 3rd QB? Nope, nothing there

Ready for our first year?

I typically fast sim the first few years in Empty Cupboard, but since I signed loads, and didn’t cut, we’ll slower move this.

I need to make cuts. I cut:

WR Cain
RB Boone
CB Bartholomew
SILB Cherelus
DE Robinson
CB Jackson
TE Tremble
DE Thurman

That gets me to 52

Week 1 – at New Orleans – We lose badly 9-21.

Chau Smith-Wade out

Week 2 – LA – We thump them 33-13. Stats - RB Sanders 1 Rush TD, Dalton 19 of 24 for 238 yards and 2:0 ratio. TE Thomas and WR Legate scores. Thielen was 5 for 101 yards. Horn and Fuller picks.

Doubtful – WR Johnson, WLB Johnson, OG Lewis

Week 3 – At LV – We lose bad 14-34. Stats – Dalton was a solid 27 of 42 for 317 yards and 2:0 ratio. Thielen and FB Mitchell with scores. Pick by Horn. 3 KRB by OG Hunt.

Week 4 – Cincinnati – We win solidly 13-42. Stats – Dalton, 1 Rush TD, 25 of 31 for 334 for and a nasty 4:0, wow! TE Thomas 6 for 103 and a score, scores by Legate and WR Moore and RB Hubbard. Two picks by SS Woods.

We are a weird 2-2 at the 1st quarter mark and Dalton is looking strong

Week 5 – At Chicago – We finish close 31-34. They just outscored us. Stats? Rb Sanders 18 for 90 for 1 TD, Dalton was 21 of 30 for 367 and 3:0 can’t blame him for this loss. WR Thielen all three scores and WR Moore is 4 for 156. OT Ekwonu was 5 KRB and a pancake.

Week 6 – Atlanta – We edge the winless Falcons 26-23, also close. Stats? Dalton was 32 of 43 and 444 yards and 1:1, Thielen snags 13 for 178 yards and WR Legate was 8 for 108 yards, and scores by TE Sanders. We had a massive SIX FGs.4 KRB each by OG Wilkerson and OT Matthews

We’ve won all home game sand lost all away ones. At the 6 game mark we have more wins that last years 2-15.

Week 7 – At Washington – We lose badly 16-31. Dalton 19 of 31, 215 and 2:1, he hit TE Sanders and Thielen for scores and the latter is 8 for 120. Picks by Horn and CB Devonshire.

Out WLB Barno.

Week 8 – At Denver – We tie 31-31. Stats Dalton 26 of 39 for 248 and 3:0. He hit Legate twice and TE Sanders for scores, and our rookie was 10 for 95. Our new signing ILB Lenhert had a pick six for 87 yards. FF by LB Johnson recovered by DT Onwuziruke. 5 KRB by Ekwonu.

Out TE Thomas,

We are 3-4-1 at the half

Dalton has 2170 yards – 3rd most,
Thielen is 2nd with 825

Week 9 – New Orleans – We lose a close one 24-30. Stats – Dalton 23 of 31, 254 and 3:0. Legate 6 for 122 and 2 scores, the other score by TE Thomas. FF and rec Horn, also rec by Johnson and Onwuziruke.

Out for the year is OG Lewis, we IR him

Week 10 – New York Giants – We win 24-7. Stats – one rush score each by RBs Hubbard and Sanders. Dalton was 20 of 27 for 204 and 1:1. He hit Thielen for the score. CB Jackson a pick, we had 4 FF on the day 2 by Clowney and one each by LB Barno and DE Thurman, all recovered giving us 5 turnovers. They were recovered by Clowney, DE Williams, DT Tutle, and Barno.

Week 11 – BYE – not bad timing mid season

Week 12 – Kansas City – Can we beat the Super Bowl champs here and go to .500 on the season? Nope we lose 20-28. Stats? Sure thing they are Dalton 29 of 36 for 292 and 3:0. He hit for scores Thielen, and RB and TE Sanders each. Legate 7 for 106. 4 KRB by OG Smith

Week 13 – Tampa Bay – They are just 2-9 and we are hosting them. We lose a low scoring game 7-10. That may take our players out of awards contention without a higher scoring loss. Stats – Dalton 22 of 34 for 254 and 1:1. Not great, not bad. Theilen 8 for 122 yards and score by Legate. 1 fumrec by CB Devonshire. 3 KRB by OG Richter.

Week 14 – At Philadelphia – Can we put up our first win in a few weeks? Nope, but another one score loss at 29-34. Stats are Dalton 27 of 30 for 359 yard and 3:0 so he wasn’t the issue. Thielen 6 for 108 and a score. The other two by Legate. Picks by SS Fuller and CB Jackson.

At the 3rd quarter mark with four games left we are 4-8-1. If we win out we could have a .500 season. Leading the division are the 8-5 Saint and the 7-6 Falcons are in 2nd and currently a Wild Card

At the game mark, Dalton is 3553 yards and 4th, and Thielen Is down to 7th with 1186 yard and needs to turn it on. Legate is 814 and just a good finishing quarter to have a 1k catching season is in his rookie season. This trio has played well thus far. Can they finish?

Week 15 – Dallas – Can we do this for the fans? We lose by another one score game, close, 27-35. Stats: Dalton, 1 rush TD, 28 for 39, for 303 and 2:0. He hit for scores TE Sanders and Thomas, and S Woods with a pick. 2 Sacks by DE Lawson, 3 KRB by OG Smith and OT Guyton.

Week 16 – Arizona – Can we do this instead? I’ll take it. We lose another close one 26-32. Stats are 1 rush TD by RB Hubbard, Dalton 21 of 27 for 278 and 1-0, and then TE Sanders that score. Pick by Horn, 4 KR by OT Johnson,

With two games left, Dalton is crossed 4k at 4134 and is now 2nd again.

Week 17 – At Tampa – They are one worse game than us at 4th. If we lose we could grab their pick. We lose a close one 21-28. They are 5-11 to our 4-11-1. RB Hubbard was 16 for 86 and 1 score. Dalton was 17 of 28 and 209 and 2:0. Scores by WR Johnson and TE Thomas. Pick by Horn, 4 KRB by C Keiffer

Week 18 – At Atlanta – Can we finish strong with my O Team to five Dalton a big push for All Pro? We lose a close but messy 25-28. We scored SIX FGs! Dalton was a rough 17 of 25 for 182 and 1:0. Our lone TD was by Legate. Picks by Woods and Johnson, We had 3 FF all recovered, 2 by Barno, one by Scott, Fumrec by Horn, Ray and TE Swinson on special teams. 3 KRb by OG Ricter, 4 by OT Moton

Close, but not a great offensive finish.

We finish with a 4-12-1 record. There are four 4-13 teams we are behind so we’ll be picking a lower 5th

All Pro 1st Team:

QB Andy Dalton

All Pro 2nd Team:

CB Joe Horn

Stats:

Offensive:

QB Dalton, 396 of 567, 4662 yards, 35:6, 110.93 rating; 50 carries for 259 yards and a score. 67 times sacked, wow. Dude needs better seeing the rush.

Yards are 2nd best, so are TDs, rating 2nd best; he was our best rusher by yards and attempts

WR Thielen – 108 grabs for 1568 yards, 5th most, 10 scores

WR Legate – 92 for 972 yards, just shy of 1k, also 10 scores

Team Awards:

Each year I hand out a bunch of Team Awards:

Offensive Player of the Year: QB Andy Dalton
– Dude wins a league award like All Pro or OMVP, dude is likely to win this award too, right? Right!!! Shout out to Thielen and Ekwonu.

Defensive Player of the Year: CB Jaycee H
orn – All pro and 5 picks and 19 pasdef. Dude earned this. He also led my team in special teams tackles.

Special Teams Player of the Year: K Nico Browder
– Don’t forget this either! Dude was 9th in kicks made, just missed one PAT and then had a few games where he was most of our scoring. We need to increase his range.

Rookie of the Year: WR Xavier Legette
- Who’s my top looking rookie each year? This year it’s this ten score grab and almost 1000 yard season! Can he built off it?

Heart Award: DT Shy Tuttle – This award is for someone who outplays their talent or spot on the roster. At just 49/49 and rotational by my coaches, this guy led my team in hurries and was Top Ten in the league too. Love him!!!

The 2025 NFL Offseason:

One regular season done! The score was 24 outta 100. Now will I have a high enough draft pick to grab a studly QB outside of the first few picks? Also we were close in many losses only a few blowouts on the road. Not a bad season all things told

My first offseason begins. I will want to tag Dalton if he doesn’t retiree since he’s my backup measure in case I cannot draft a QB.

One caveat, it looks like RB Sanders was 725 rushing yards, Hubbard was 627,and our team yards were 1885.

Dalton didn’t retire, neither did 34 year old Thielen they must wanna keep working together! Clowney is still with us too. Ditto our best Olline man OT Moton at 61/61 in his 9th year or SS Woods.

We are drafting at the 1.4 spot. Ideally, we’ll be a 4 Qb draft.

CB Smith-Wade’s injury is up and he’s dropped to 42/59. OG Lewis is still injured for a few weeks.

I don’t submit a new Stadium Plan. Since our winning season didn’t increase massively, I am not increasing Tix prices. Actually we were sold out, so let’s massage them a bit. I increase each base by 2-3 bucks each and boxes by 10k.

I have 50.7 mill in cap space

Staff Draft:

I have all of my staff locked in. We weren’t good with the rushing the rock despite smashmouth but great pass it. Should I swap OC to a passing one? I really like Brad Izik’s stats, he’s better than DC Evero. He has three 70s and two 60s and that’s very well rounded to Evero’s 1 each 80, 70, 60 and then 2 50s. Even Canales is okay with 100 in player dev and 3 60s, one 50 and three low, although one low is youth, where I’d love to swap a 60.

HC:

There is a free guy named Carter Nall with 100 dev, 90 youth, and 70 Intelligence, 60 playcalling and 50 motivation. He’s low in Scouting, Dis and Interviews. That’s not bad at all. He’s free, or I could hire him at DC if free then. He’s 4-3 though.

Zac Taylor HC of the Bengals is happy to come over. He’ a stud HC. Do I want to bring him in? He’s only 40 Player dev and 30 Motivation, but great elsewhere. Is in in the spirit to bring a deep playoff better record Taylor to us? I’m not feeling it. Ditto John Harbaugh and Shane Stichen HC of the Colts.

I do think poaching their OC/DC works though. Any good ones I like? Or unemployed ones?

What about Baltimore’s AC Chris Hewitt – 100 Mot, 80 youth, 70 dev, disc, 50 interview’s, low scouting, INT and playcalling. He’s a great Motivation, discipline king

I wish this game would give me total fit scores like FOF8 to just look at a few.

DC Aaron Glenn - 100 dev, 90 youth, scouting, no thanks

Want someone great at Motivation, Playcalling and Discipline?

DC Teryl Austin for Pitt – 90 Motivation, 70 playcall, Discipline, 60 dev, 80 INT, 50 youth, 70 scout, interview. Yeah, he’s a stud

Welcome Teryl Austin!

OC;

Idzik – Only bad is INT, Scouting and interviews – everything else is 70 and 60

Other options:

Shannon Weirich – Cares about O Line, Balanced – 100 play calling, 90 mot, 70 each dev and youth, 60 interviews, 50 INT, bad in scouting and dis. Not a bad option. Do I want to move to balanced?

Heath Dunn – Qb, Air Coryell – 80 Playcalling, 70 each scouting, interviews, motivation, dev, 60 discip, bad youth and INT. Do I want to spend 70s in scouting and interviews? What about Air Coryell?

Kris Quach – RB, Smashmouth – He’s very well rounded with two bad in INT at just 40 and interviews, but 80 playcalling, 60 each scouting, mot, dev, dis and then 50 youth. Not bad but not amazing, would keep us in Smashmouth

I hire Dunn. We need to improve my scouting and interviews for my first draft too.

DC:

DC Michael Ghobrial – 4-3 Over, DL, 90 playcalling, 80 each INT and interviews, 70 youth, 60 dev, 50 scouting, low Mot and dis. He’s a great talent, smart, 2nd best playcaller, but do I wanna swap to 4-3? Also I’d rather have 80 in scouting and 50 interviews.

Quinn Carver – True 3-4, DB, 80 playcalling and interviews, 90 mot and INT, 70 dev, 50 scouting. Super sharp. Bad at youth and dis. Again, I’d prefer that 80 interviews swapped with scouting. He’s the best PC True 3-4.

Bradon Staley – 3-4 Eagle, AC for 49ers, cares about LB, 80 playcalling, dis, 70 dev, bad interviews, everything else 50 average. Very well rounded, another great playcalling 3-4, but do I want a 50 scouting, 30 interviews and 50 everywhere else?

I hire Carver. Let’s keep the 3-4 going.

AC:

Ours is bad, so I’d like to pick up someone good with scouting and interviews.

I hire: Daryl Starnes, 3-4 Eagle, DL, maxed INT at 100, 90 scouting, 80 interviews, 50 each dev and youth, bad elsewhere. Top heavy in scouting and I need to grab some D Line this year since our stats were bad there.

Head Trainer:

Our guy had a nice 80 STR, 50 Con and 40 INT – not bad for the first

I hire Elliot Easley with 100 Str, better there, 90 INT, smart and 60 Con so better everywhere

I want to tag Dalton, but’s he’s 69.5 mill which will put us way over the cap. Should I wait and then sign him day 1 to a better deal? Since he’s hopefully a bridge to a developing QB in a year or two from the draft I head to FA.

The 2025 draft class is revealed. We have one stud QB with a draft grade of 9.4 called Clinton Fry, and two 6+ with 6.3 Jeff Price and 6.1 rated Marlon Hoffman.

The 2025 Free Agency:

Day 1 – I make offers for my guys to return:

I let my FB head out since we are now Air Coryell.

WR Johnson is 44/44 and a solid 4th option. He’s 9.4 to resign, a bit pricey

OG Ike Richter - 3 years for 8.1 mill

DE Williams is 51/51 and wants 7 mill for two years, offered

ILB Reinhart is 54/54 and a proper MLB. He wants 74 mil for 5 year,s nope

CB Jackson, 51/51, is up and wants 12 mill for three years, offered

FS Fuller is 46/46 and not a bad backup. He wants 5.5 mill for two years, done

QB Dalton wants 60 mill for two years, and I need a bridge in case I cannot draft Qb, or they bust or are green, so I offer. It’s too pricey, so I…

I cannot free up 10 mill and cut OG Lewis since he’s injured. Clowney is 51/51 and would save 10 million cut.

I cut WLB Wonnum for freeing up 7.5 mill

WILB Josey Jewell – free up 5.1

Then I offer Dalton and we agree

I pass the day and now can offer others

There is a stud 80/80 CB But I’ve got Horn named Paulson Adebo and I don’t have the cap space to make an offer. I need to build up my O line and front 7.

I have cap space of 23 mill and need for the draft 16 so 7.9 mill left after that, I have currently on my roster 34. Can I free up some cap space to chase OL and LB?

I cut QB Bryce Young and free up 4.1 mill. Since I am drafting one this year, that’s space I can use.

I cut RT Nijman for 3.4 mill.

I need to flesh out my roster, so I cut Clowney for 10 mill even

I have free 25.7 mill for new players. LB Corps is deep with 4 with 70s and 4 more 60s. I need sacks and tackles, and I just let go Clowney at SLB and that’s ley for a 3-4 to work in my mind.

I make these offers:

I need quality at SLB:

Do I offer 66/66 cheaper Haasan Reddick at 25.2 for three years or 2nd best player in FA 78/78 Dre Greenlaw for 58 mill for those three years. Does my roster need depth and multiple talented starters and a 66/66 isn’t bad but he’s older or a stud to break it out? Or one year 10 mill rental Mack.

If I signed Reddick I could also offer tons more. I need four starters at LB so I offer Reddick

And:

ILB Mychal Walker – 60/60 year 6, 10 mill 3 years,
WLB Frankie Luvu, 51/51 – year 8, 9.6 mill three years

OL is very detailed with 9 60s. I need to sign an LG, and I have 10 mill free after my 40/40 guy is cut in a few weeks. Ideally I find a cheap one I can grab a rookie for if that’s what the draft goes for. Ditto C. The best OG is 68/68 Evan Brown Lawson, year 7 and wants just 26 mill for 3 years, for a 68/68 guy that seems doable and cheap. Cap hit this year of 7.52. That’s 2.5 less that I free. The cheapest feasible one is 53/53 Jonah Jackson. Nope, I offer Lawson, and I add some cash

How about TE? Can I get a starting one? We have six in the 50s, any cheap one would work.

I offer 53/53 Evan Engram, 30 years old, 6.5 mill for two years

All three 50+ Cs want way too much cash

Day 7 – Everyone but Engram, Luvu and Walker sign elsewhere.

I offer:

OG Lucas Patrick – 61/61, age 31. 2 years at 15.9

SLB Patrick Jones - 62/62, age 26, 3 years at 17 mill

Nice and cheap

Any Cs fall I can chase for cheap?

OC Bradley Bozeman, 51/51, age 30, wants 5.6 mill for 2 years

Day 8 – We sign cheap Bozeman which can be a starter or a draftee.

Day 9 – Jones signs!

Day 11 – Signing with us are Patrick, Engram, Luvu and Walker

Any cheap depth for ILB to grab?

I chase

ILB Duke Riley – age 30, 56/56, for two years and 5.6 mill

Day 12 - He signs

All FAs are done.

I will keep the rest of my FAs until post draft, we head to it!

For five year extension day I do not extend Ekwonu a 54/54 OT. I can draft or sign a better one than the cost of 25.1 mill.

The 2025 NFL Amateur Draft:

The three QBs in this draft are;

Clifton Fry – Hard to Read, grade 9.4, Red Flag
Jeff Price - 6.3, Overrated
Marlon Hoffman – 6.1, Overrated

What will it take to move up and snag Fry? With NE? \

My first this year and next two years. Rough when I could draft an overrated QB or red flag, but 9.4 is very nasty good. What do i do? Let’s talk it over and I’ll come back

I am not taking the offer and sticking at the 4 spot. If I didn’t sign Dalton, this would make sense, but I have an All Pro later veteran here, and there’s a good shot that Price/Hoffman are there with lower grades and overrated. Getting out of two likely high first rounders also hurts load too.

1.1 – New England grabs QB Fry
1.2 – I cannot find who they grabbed. It was OT
1.3 – OG Mario Friedlander by LA

1.4 – Both Price and Hoffman are here. Do I grab one and then pass to the 2nd round or trade down a few spots to collect picks and then grab one later? I cannot risk it, you know how overvalued QB is. I take:

Price – Combines of:

Hoffman – 4.47 speed, 1.59, 43 Sole, 10 reps, 4.59 shuttle

smart, fast,

Price – 4.84, 31 Sole, 1.66, 8 reps, but…3.96 shuttle

So a smart and fast strong physical threat vs the higher rating of Price.

The rest are the same

Bars:

Price – Good at Timing, Reading, quality, Sensing rush, Two minute, footwork, improv and secure the ball, bad at touch, running, accuracy, confidence and volatility

Good pocket passer, but bad accuracy

Hoffman – Good at Strength, sending rush, reading, timing, accuracy, timing, sense rush, read defense, footwork and improv. Bad at 2 minute, touch, quality, confidence and secure the ball.

So he’s a strong, runner, with bad securing the ball. Good accuracy, bad touch and quality

Since I feel that Price is the most Dalton esque one, I snag him:

2.4 – Who do I like here? I need a stud OC, TE, RB, NT, most LB and DB spots, OG, and more. Who is the BAP really?

ILB Roderick MacPhail is 6.4 and BAP with As Scouted, I could use a strong ILB

I have two OT ‘s at 6.3 and 6.2 and my priciest dork on my team is 61/61 Moton in year 9 with a cap hit of 35 mill. He’s good, so I am fine grabbing a one year grow and replacement here.

They are: OT Wilson, underrated and OT Culligan As Scouted and another too named Bales at 6.1 with very underrated. Bales?

OG Miles Bue – 6.2, vey overrated

QB Hoffman is still on the board, by the by.

DE Kidder – 6.1, overrated

Stud ILB, DE, OT replacement like Wilson. Or if I cannot resign OT Ekwonu that’s also good there to. Wilson or MacPhail? My ILBs are 54 and 53, and my Ots are better. But in the final year of each deal. I take MacPhail

3.4?

Two low 6.1s left in DE Kitchen and OT Khalil Kitchen with a underrated. I snag Kitchen

4.4 is here. Who do I like here? I need a better RB. The best on the board is 5.6 rated Scott Neace who is hard to read. I take Kidder still on the board.

5.4. Neace still on the board, but I like very underrated TE 4.6 Raynold Chayfeseky

6.4 – Nease still here. I snag him, and hope he fell hard

7.4 – My staff here like WR Beau Flood. He’s underrated at 4.8. I need a great returner. He’s not, but I grab him anyway.

The 2025 NFL Carolina Panthers Draft

1.4 – QB Jeff Price, Boston College, 37/51
2.4 – ILB Roderick MacPhail, Appalachian State, 50/65
3.4 – RT Khalil Kitchen, Texas Tech, 19/48
4.4 – DE Thurman Kidder, Georgia, 35/55
5.4 – TE Raynold Chayefsky, Southern Mississippi, 31/47
6.4 – RB Scott Neace, Stanford, 30/39
7.4 – Beau Flood, NC State, 34/42

Yuck Price. Hoffman is 34/42, so Price was better. Fry is 55/71. Price is the best of those of the board of the two. MacPhail looks strong. You can see why Kitchen fell but not Kidder. Nope to Neace.

We finish the draft and look at UFAs and other players.

It looks like no there are no changes to pots after rookie camp, so I won’t bring this to you in the future

I have space for 5 and cap space, but there are no great FAs to sign they were all swallowed up

The 2025 NFL Preseason:

Week 2 – Vs Cincinnati – We win 37-31 vs the Super Bowl Champs.

No injuries

Week 3 – At Buffalo – We win 29-21.

No major injuries

Week 4 – Baltimore – Can we go 3-0 in the preseason? Yes! And we THUMP them 38-7.

No major injuries

I have a roster of 55

I cut:

OC Keifler
P Allen

Rookie Lookie #3:

1.4 – QB Jeff Price, Boston College, 37/51; 39/51; 39/47;
2.4 – ILB Roderick MacPhail, Appalachian State, 50/65; 55/65; 58/61
3.4 – RT Khalil Kitchen, Texas Tech, 19/48, 24/48; 25/45

ILB Nelson Matt – 23/51; 29/51; 28/45
DT Branden Yang – 27/50; 31/50; 35/48
DE Jackie Jones - 27/49; 36/49; 32/46
QB Corbin Carrozza – 28/44; 30/44; 28/37
P Coby Allen – 71/74; 73/74; looks like I cut him not Gill.
WR Randy Koontz – 26/37; 27/37; 27/38
S Branden Uhrig – 17/37; 18/37; 18/29

Wow, not a great year post-preseason

I resign Allen and cut Gill, he’s 74/77

Here’s my best rookie that busted a bit.

MacPhail. A 61 pot LB in the early 2nd isn’t that bad but 65/65 would be better. Special teams ace.

Starters and depth:

Dalton fell 4 points, Thielen around 10, my RB more. Engram held nicely. Moton dropped from 61 to 56. Horn dropped 4. Woods dropped 5 and isn’t really starter quality anymore

Ready?

The 2025 NFL Regular Season:

I need more talent and a good draft or two to do it. But I need bad years to make that happen, and a winning record stops good drafts from happening with lower picks, as you can see. That was a ROUGH draft, and my hope is we have a rough year to reset it. Last year the GM drafted two people with a 60+ and just one this year. I had two very underrated bust. My only good drop was DE.

OG Young’s injury ended and he retired

I need to cut a player to get to 52. OLB Johnson was suspended for the year and is 44/44 so I cut him.

Week 1 – at Tampa Bay – We lose 17-24 – Stats – Dalton 23 of 34, 254 yad 2:0 with scores to WR Flood and Legate with 106 yards. FF by DE Williams, rec by LB Jones.

Week 2 – Cincinnati – We host the Super Bowl champs, can we win? Nope, we lose 19-24. Dalton 1 rush TD, 24 of 38 for 302 0:0. Ff by OLB Luvu rec by DE Brown.

Out for 11 weeks is LB Luvu

Week 3 – New York Giants – We thump them 36-6. RB Brooks, 20 for 96 and 2 scores, Dalton was 14 of 23 for 238 and 2:0 and hit Legate for 166 yards and scores by FB Mitchell and WR Flood. LB Walker and S Fuller with picks.

Week 4 – Chicago – They are win less, we thump them 31-14. Stats are Brooks 20 carries for 150 yards and 1 score, Dalton was 19 of 25 for 215 and 2:0. He hit for scores TE Engram and FB Mitchell. Pick by Woods, pick six by LB Monahan. 3 KRb by Ekwonu.

DE Kitter is doubtful

2-2 at the quarter mark. I need losses.

WR Mingo Doubtful

Week 7 – Green Bay – We thump them 41-19 to got to 4-3 our first winning record since I’ve been here. Stats? RB Sanders 22 for 107 1 score. Dalton is 16 of 20, was spelled for Price, for 224 and 3:0. He hit Legate, Flood and Thielen for scores each. Pick six by Woods, FF bY CB Jackson rec by ILB Riley. 4 KRB y Moton.

Doubtful Thielen for 6 weeks. Will that shut down our nasty offense?

Week 8 - At Minnesota – We lose 20-24. Dalton is 16 for 28, 156 and 2:0 and Legate was 107 yards nd TD grabs by TE Sanders and Flood. S Fuller pick, FF by DE Williams rec by SS Woods.

We are 4-4 at the break.

Dalton has 2033 yards, Legate LEADs the league with 847 yards catching.

Week 9 – New Orleans – We lose 28-34. 2 Rush scores by RB Brooks, Dalton was 20 of 27 for 285 and 2:1 ratio. Legate 148 yards and a score the other by Engram. CB Jackson a pick, 5 KRB by Moton, 3 by Lewinsky.

Out is DE Johnson for 22 weeks, Ird and OLB Barnes for 5 weeks, and doubtful is OT Ekwonu for a few weeks. Rough loss

Week 10 – At Detroit – We lose 22-31. Dalton was injured so they tossed in Price. They combined for 17 of 45 for 378, and 3:1 Mingo was 7 for 187 and 1 score, 2 by TE Engram. Pick by Horn.

RB Brooks out for 10 weeks, another rough loss

Week 11 – BYE

Week 12 – Tampa – We thump them 30-3. Dalton 21 of 26 for 228 and 2:0. Scores by WR Mingo and Engram. Legette injured in the game and is questionable. ILB Walker a pick, 3 KRB by C Bozeman and G Richter.

With a record of 5-6, we know have one more win than last season.

Week 13 – Baltimore – Bad home loss 38-16. Legate held to 4 grabs and 34 yards showing injury. RB Sanders a Rush score, Dalton was 24 of 39 for 226 and 0:0. Pick by Horn, FF Jone, rec by CB Wade-Smiths2.5 sacks by Jones, 3 KRB by OT Moton

Week 14 – At LA – I ideally want a close loss to get Legate back in queue. Or a win too I suspense that puts him back. We lose 17-23,Legate is 6for 63 and a score. Dalton was 21 of 32 and 229 and 1:2. RB Neace another score on the ground. S Uhrig a pick,

Legate is back to probable next week,

We are at 5-8 with four games left. Dalton has dropped without Legate as his bff.

There are three 2 and 4 win teams so we need to lose.

Week 15 – at Cleveland – I need a loss and Legate getting back with his probable-ing. Like last year away games. They are also a 5 win team. Loss, close, but low scoring 21-22. Stats? Legate was just 5 for 27, and rush score by Dalton who was 26 of 43 for 214 and 2:1. Scores by Mingo and TE Chayefsky. Picks bY Woods and Wade-Smith, 3 KRB by Bozeman and Patrick

Week 16 – Atlanta – We lose 24-31. Close. Legate nonstarter. Dalton was 22 of 40 for 298 and 2:1.WR Ming 10 grabs for 121 yards and TE Chayefsky and Thielen with scores, RB Stahl rush score. CB Horn another pick,

Week 17 – At Pittsburgh – Rough away game – they are 10-5. We lose another close low scoring game 17-20. Legette is back with 8 for 105 and 1 score.. Sanders rush score, Dalton is 25 for 37 for 22 and 1:1. Low. FF by Smith-Wade rec by CB Horn;

Week 18 – At New Orleans – They are 5-11 like us. This is the battle for the worst record in the division. We win 20-17. Pick by Horn, gives him 6, and Wade-Smith, Sanders 13 for 107 yards, Rb Stahl a rush score, Dalton is 23 of 38, 252 and 1:1. He hit for that score Flood, Legate 74 yards.

Not a great final game, but our finish of 6-11 is ahead of 5 teams and tied with 1

Season Awards:

All Pro – 1st Team:

SLB Patrick Jones
CB Jaycee Horn

All-Pro 2nd Team:

FB Walter Mitchell

Nice addition for SLB Jones in his first year here. Also good stuff Horn again and Mitchell too.

Stats:

Offense:

QB Dalton – 354 of 557, 4127 yards, 10th most, 28:8 (7th best), QBR of 96.6. Not great. 50 sacks rough.

RB Sanders – 194 for 987 yards, 3 scores

RB Brooks – 139 for 658 yards

FB Mitchell – 17 catches, 144 yards and 2 scores; 7 KRB

Catching:

WR Legette – 97 for 1399 yards, 9 scores, 8th highest yards
WR Thielen – 37 for 338 and 2 scores
WR Mingo – 45 for 650 and 3 scores
WR Flood – 36 for 516 and 6 score s-nasty for the 7th rounder backup
TE Chayefsky – led my Tes with 37 for 300 and 2 scores
TE Engram – 25 for 296 and 5 scores

C Bozeman, 33 KRB, 2 pancakes and 7 sacks allowed
OG Richter 29 KRB, 6 sacks allowed
T Moton – 27 KRB and wow 14 sacks allowed

Special Teams:

K Browder - 29 of 38, long of 48 again, PAT 45 of 45

Just okay

P Allen – 88 punts, 31 in 20, 43 net average

Defense:

SLB Patrick Jones – 12.5 sacks, 8 TFL, 3 blocks, 5 hurries 17 QB Kn. 4 FF

I needed to up my sacks and really get a strong SLB. Welcome to the team Jones who just did both! That’s 6th highest and best LB the other are all DEs. He also led with 4 FF.

NT Shy Tuttle – 5.5 sacks, 2 TFL, 6 blocks, TWENTY QB hurries, 7 QB KD – tied for 9th most in league

That’s it with 5+ sacks, we’ve got to get better from WLB (Injured) and DEs.

CB Horn – 6 picks, led team and one off 7 the leader, 16 pasdef, 3 FF

S Woods – 4 picks, 16 pasdef,

Dude still has it! Not bad Horn showing he was not a one hit wonder last year

CB Devonshire – 0 picks but 22 pasdef led our team and the league too

CB Smith-Wade – 2 picks, 4 fumrec, led team in recovery

I NEED this next thing to break my trend:

Rookie Lookie #4:

1.4 – QB Jeff Price, Boston College, 37/51; 39/51; 39/47; 39/47
2.4 – ILB Roderick MacPhail, Appalachian State, 50/65; 55/65; 58/61; 63/63
3.4 – RT Khalil Kitchen, Texas Tech, 19/48, 24/48; 25/45; 25/45
4.4 – DE Thurman Kidder, Georgia, 35/55; 40/55; 42/52; 50/52
5.4 – TE Raynold Chayefsky, Southern Mississippi, 31/47; 36/47; 34/44; 39/44
6.4 – RB Scott Neace, Stanford, 30/39; 32/39; 31/34; 37/37
7.4 – WR Beau Flood, NC State, 34/42; 36/42; 38/49; 42/49

A bit of a comeback by MacPhail. I was hoping for another rise by Flood but not to be.

UFAs:

C Shannon Lemanski – 19/57; 25/57; 25/53; 25;53
ILB Nelson Matt – 23/51; 29/51; 28/45; 28/45
DT Branden Yang – 27/50; 31/50; 35/48; 50/50
DE Jackie Jones - 27/49; 36/49; 32/46; Cut
QB Corbin Carrozza – 28/44; 30/44; 28/37; 29/37
P Coby Allen – 71/74; 73/74; 76/76
WR Randy Koontz – 26/37; 27/37; 27/38; 27/38
S Branden Uhrig – 17/37; 18/37; 18/29; 23/29

Yang nice and went back to where he was.

Staff Awards:

Offensive Player of the Year: WR Xavier Legett
e (it’s Leggette sorry for misspellings). – Was our one bright offense mind with an injury still finished very strong. Love him loads.

Defensive Player of the Year: SLB Patrick Jones
– Many had great seasons here, Horn, Devonshire, Tuttle, but our defense was very elevated after his arrival. He just ran this roof!

Special Teams Player of the Year: P Coby Allen
– Stud and developed P was very strong with the punting.

Rookie of the Year – ILB Roderick MacPhain
- Many great options like P Allen, WR Flood, or even Kidder, but he led my team in tackles, tied Jones with 8 TFL to lead, and looked good from womb to tomb!

Heart Award – WR Johnathan Mingo
-You could give this again to Shy Tuttle, SS Woods with starting stuff despite his drop or more, but the 4th WR on my team at 44/44 rating and falling just was 2nd on my team in yards behind Legette. He was 45 for 650 and 3 scores. Great stuff!

Alright time to end the season!!!

The 2026 NFL Offseason:

I hit the next season. Who will retire? The cap raises by 4.1 mill. Our score drops to 14

I don’t submit a new stadium plan – it’s in terrific condition, and it’s top 10 capacity

Tick prices – we sold out last year.. I massage everything up two or three dollars and 10k boxes

Staff Retention:

We overhauled our staff last year. I will only make changes if there is an obvious upgrade available, and not HC

I skip them all

We get the draft review. We pick 6th but…this is a 5 QB draft, they are 9.4; 8.8; 8.7; 8.6; 7.8. So if one falls at 6 we’ll get a strong QB.

Returning are Dalton, Engram, Thielen, Patrick, Moton and Riley and Woods all older – I was hoping Woods would retire but after his awesome year last that’s probably not that surprising

I have 58.1 mill in cap space after rookies

Who is coming free to tag?

WR Theilen – Would cost 38 mill
OT Ekwonu – Ditto

Also free are NT Tuttle and LS Triner and SS Woods

I push forward and will sign them day 1

The 2026 Free Agency:

Day 1 –

I make offers to:

LS Triner – 2 years 2.55 mill
SS Woods – 2 years, 5.9 mill
P Allen – 3 years, 10.56 mill
NT Tuttle is 3 years for 11.3 mill but just 49/49 – I do it

OT Ekwonu is 90 mil for 4 years and a hit this year of 16.68. No thanks, that’s too pricey for 55/55 OT

WR Theilen – 1 year, 4.9 mill done

RB Brooks busted to 39/39 after injury

I have 46 players. I need a stud starter at OC, RB, LT for Ekwonu, better Des for 3-4 than low 50s. Two starting S.

What does my cap look like after those retentions? 55.9.

I can really push a few quality FAs, but let’s keep open the draft. There’re three strong Rbs, Ots, Des, Dts, weak C, Lb, Cb is okay but not S or OG.

So upgrading both S, and RB with a 2nd option in case a strong one falls at 2.6, maybe one starter DE and draft another and then you’ve got it.

And just like BAP the cheapest and great options overall

Day 2 - Who’s free at positions of need. I start with FS and SS too I didn’t pay much for Woods.

SS 74/74 Antonine Winfield wants 48.8 mill over 3 mill and that’s a cap hit of 13.9 this year, doable for a year 6 stud in his prime.

FS 61/61 Jevon Holland, age 26, wants 30 mill for 3 years a cap hit this year of 8.2 mill, not bad at all. He’s cheap and a natural FS not SS. Those are the only two with 60 or more, but there are tons of 50s.

I could offer SS Andre Cisco, 57/57 for 9.46 mill over 3 years at age

I offer Holland and increase the bonus by a mill

RB Jonathan Taylor – Top RB at 57/57, age 27 and 7 years in league, wants 28.42 over 3, I offer and add a mill bonus

There is a stud 63/63 TE named Goedert is available, but I skip

WR Terry Maclaurin wants just 10.7 mill for two years for a 62/62 guy in year 8, if I hadn’t signed Thielen, this is just an okay draft. I hold off I may offer after I see the rest

LT Orlando Brown – 72/72, year 8, Wants 65.8 mill for three years, cap hit this year of 18.5 he’s worth it, but I don’t know if I have the cash. The other two good LTs are very high. Is there a feasible cheaper 50s LT? Nope.

DE Arik Armstead – 10th year, 60/60, wants one year for 3.36 mill I offer 3.75

Cap hits this year for those offered:

DE Armstead – 3.75
FS Holland – 8.6
RB Taylor – 10 mill (guess)

That’s around 22.35 out of space of 55.9 after the draft, I want to push. 33.55 left

Brown would drop to 19.0 if I added 1.5 mill cap hit for added bonus, 14.55 left

That’s enough for Maclaurin for 5.5 with cap hit and Cisco or just Winfield noting left for post-draft.

Can I free up some cash with a cut or extension to bring in both Winfield and Maclaurin? And have money for post-draft stuff

I could cut DE Brown 51/51 in last year and free up 11.2 mill. Cut done

I offer Maclaurin, Brown, and Winfield and increase cap hit by 1 mil for the 1 and 1.5 for the latter two

Day 4 – Winfield and Brown sign with us!

Day 5 – DE Armstead signs!

Day 8 – Maclaurin signs!

Day 10 – FS Holland agrees

Day 11 – Taylor signs

I have 6.3 mill left for other folks after. Taylor’s cap hit 9.240 this year

I end FA and head to signing the 5th year person. I have none, see you at the draft!!!

The 2026 NFL Amateur Draft:

We are picking 1.6. There are five stud QBs. The worst is 7.8, totally worth the consolation prize. If the first four fall 1-4, I’ll trade to 1.5 and snag him. I hope to have a few options though to deep dive into.

1.6 – Two QBs went, I have three options:

Tony Plamondon - 8.7, As Scouted

Bernie de Groat – 8.6, As Scouted

Julio Tolentino – 7.8, Hard to Read, not invited to the Combine, 42 INT

Since they are all H2R or Scouted, should I just snag Tony? Or if de Groat is better with H2R and no Combine with Tolentino

Combine stats of the first two:

Plamondon – 4.58 40, 1.59, 40 INT, 9 reps, 2-08 leap, 9-10 broad jump, 4.1 shuttle, and 6.60 agility

So he’s savvy, great in three cone drill, but not as physically gifted with 1 red, 2 yellow outside of the INT test, and such. His three cone is the best among all QBs.

De Groat – 4.48, 1.52, 28 INT, 12 reps, 3-01 leap, 10-07 broad, 3.90 shuttle and 7.16 three cone

He’s not as smart, faster, has a lethal shuttle cone, the best one, and stronger too. Better jumper too. He’s the more physically gifted save for three cone but not as sharp. Has the most reps of any QB too.

Bars:

Tony Plamondon – Strong touch, footwork, confidence, improv, reading defenses, sense rush, quality, decisions, securing the ball, okay strength, running, 2-minute, bad accuracy, timing, not very well developed, low volatility

Strong bars, but weak at accuracy and timing aren’t great places.

Bernie de Groat – Strong at 2minute, footwork, conf, improv, quality, accuracy, timing, running, strength, sensing rush; okay at nothing; bad at decisions, touch, reading def, ;, okay developed higher volatility,

Strong bars, but weak at reading, touch and decisions.

The reasons to draft Plamondon - smart, not weak at reading defenses or decisions, lower volatility

The reasons to draft de Groat – Higher current development to step into starter now with my developed WR, no okay bars, just all strong save for three. Not weak at accuracy or timing. He’s physically talented.

There are real reasons for either. De Groat’s bars are bit higher, with three weak, but better than okays, he’s more developed, and with better workouts everywhere save for two, but bad at reading, touch and decisions isn’t great. Plamondon isn’t better physically, but has two weaker bars, but accuracy and timing aren’t great there. But lower volatility is key there. Both are as As Scouted.

I grab…

Plamondon, lower volatility sells me

2nd round is here, who do I like?

What positions are of need?

RB bad, but with Taylor only long term starters that are better than 57/57, actually Taylor rose to 59/59 . But he’s 7th year so he’ll bust soon, but not right now.

Stud TE better than Engram

Starter C better than 46/46 or 25/53

Starter RG better than 52/52 for Richter; OG depth too

Stud 3-4 DE and we have two in 50s and one 59, only studs.

Better WLB than 52/52 and ILB for 54/54

My RT Moton is 56/56,not bad, but if there is a stud I won’t say no.

Stud NT would be fine too

What’s left on the board? We have tons of mid 6.0s. Like a lot of tons

Out of RBs, TEs, and QBs.

There is a 6.1 Center Underrated but the best on the board are 6.5 and 6.4 and tons so that’d be a reach. His name is Jevon Chen, he’s the last good C left. Can I get him in the 3rd?

At OG There’re 6.3 and 6.2 Ogs left that are OG Montano Very Underrated on a 6.3 here.

Montano is nice.

What about growing my D Line, any great NTs?

Three Ots with 6.3 or more, but that’s less of a need

Three Des, one 6.5 and 6.4 are left.

NT? 6.5 Dakota Boston – Very Underrated, naturally NT in a 3-4

Actually, sorry that’s the beginning of the 2nd round. I am at 2.7. I like Boston. Is there a way I can swap picks? Here at the new Trade you don’t make an offer you ask to swap. Jax are 2.1, They want a future 1st. 2.6 Cleveland lost their pick, and I the draft doesn’t let you pause and keep up with drafted players

2.7 arrives, and…Boston is off the board. Sad. The next best NT for 3-4 is a 6.3 As Scouted Lonnie Salisbury. Sorry, the grade is fine here, but not that As Scouted for Very Underrated

OT? All left! OG Montano? I snag him.

3rd round is here and is OC Chen left? Nope, we have two 6.1 and four 6.0. Left is:

NT Brady DeLeon – 6.1, As Scouted

And at 6.0 two each CBs and LB. they are all As Scouted or Hard to Read.

I don’t need depth at NT. I have 50/50 and 49/49. So if DeLeon is just okay or a bust that ain’t going to be much. No thanks.

Depth at CB or LB? I have strong CBs that are Horn and Devonshire and Smith-Wade all in the 60s.

LB? These are fits at 3-4 SLB. I could draft and see. Both Lbs are As Scouted and are Cipriani and Streb. Or I could grab DeLeon and hope. I do LB, let’s go with WLB Streb since he’s a natural WLB

4th is here – One 6.1 DE is left. The next best are 5.8. Who do I like here?

Now ‘ll just go depth and BAP since I am good to go with the stuff.

My staff like DE Pinedo who is Hard to Read and 5.6.

I don’t need DE here. I have 54 players so I am set. Could I ty to find OT Moton’s replacement? Any good Ots left? Four at 5.5. 2 Hard to Read, 1 As Scouted and one Overrated. Any workout warriors to grab and maybe build, if that’s a thing in FOF9? Nope. I snag OT Lowery with the best bars

5th is here. My staff like DE Pinedo still on the board. DE Corson 6.1 still on the board. I like two CBs but they are very overrated. I need 4th TE, I draft very underrated TE Keenen Giron.

6th is here, is Pinedo still on the board? Nope, but they like DE Dick with an Overrated 5.1 rating. Is Corson there? Nope. The highest rated are 5.6 DE and 5.5 everything else. I draft CB As Scouted, the only good one left, with a 5.3 rating.

7th! My staff like DE Dick, I snag him

The 2026 Carolina Panthers Draft:

1.6 – QB Tony Plamondon, Georgia State, 41/63
2.7 – OG Lonnie Montano, Boston College, 49/67
3.6 – WLB Matthew Streb, Seton Hall, 38/58
4.7 – OT Robert Lowery, Penn State, 25/46
5.6 – TE Keenen Giron, Colorado State, 27/41
6.7 – CB Ellis Familo, Michigan State, 39/49
7.6 – DE Tommy Dick, Northern Colorado, 29/45

Not bad. Two 60s starters in first two rounds and then a 50 high WLB later, but they’ll need to stick, especially Plamondon. This his draft. De Groat is 47/58 – very developed, went next after us to Cleveland and Tolentino was taken by Raiders at the 16 spot and is 49/62, so the most developed. Then above us is Taggart at 1.2 to Jax 57/67 and 1.4 to Houston at 56/75 that’s Finnell. Nasty good. So of the two on the board, Plamondon has, barely, the best pot, but if they both hold I’d rather Tolentino since he's so developed.

Late Free Agency:

I have on my roster 58 so I don’t have much space, but I do have a need at OG for a 4th . I have space post draft of cap space of 6.63.

Any great UFA I’ll take and the best OG

TE Dalton Schultz with 59/59 wants 10 mill cap hit this year.

Do I want C Dalman, 58/58 wants 23.54 mill for three years with a cap hit this year of 4.46. I make him an offer and increase to 23.94.

I offer for trade QB Price, since I’ll stick with Plamondon for now. No one offers. I cut QB Carcozza.

Any cash needed to extend?

QB Andy Dalton in the last year of his deal with a cap hit of 30 mill. I’d save 25.5 if I cut him and had Price as backup. I do it, and make offer for:

Extending OG Patrick – 17.43 mill two years, 2 mill more this year
RT Moton – two years, 34 mill, 1.5 mill more

UFA CB Keenan Reed – three years 150k signing bonus
UFA ILB Toby Hobby - three years
UFA OLB Duke Auguste – three years
UFA OG Kelly Bently – three years

C Drew Dalman – Year 6, 58/58, for 4.63 cap hit year one

TE Dalton Schultz – Year 9, 59/59 wants 22.25 for two years, I offer another mill in bonus. With a 10.77 cap hit this year

We need to build up my roster

Day 2 – Schultz and Hobby join

Day 3 – Backup Bently joins.

Day 4 - Reed and Auguste join

UFA Rookies:

CB Keenan Reed – 33/48
ILB Toby Hobby – 34/50
OLB Duke Auguste – 27/47
OG Kelly Bently – 20/45

Day 5 – Dalman signs

I head to Summer Vacation

The 2026 NFL Preseason:

We submit playbooks, no staff changes so that was fast.
I sign another QB to give me three, it’s QB Derek Stock, 31/42, for three years minsal

That gives me 63 players.

I cut:

TE Sanders
SS Uhrig
MLB Matt

Week 2 – LA Chargers – Last year we swept the preseason. Good tidings? No injuries we win 33-9

Week 3 – At KC – No major injuries just some probable. We win against last year’s Super Bowl winner at them 31-24.

Week 4 – Houston – The final preseason game! We win 37-7. Wowzer

OT Rasheed is doubtful for a few weeks

I need to cut 8:

RB Nease
WR Koontz
C Bozeman
OT Rasheed with 280k injury settlement
DE Johnson
WLB Auguste
SS Woods – sorry but he’s 40/40
TE Giron – rookie dropped to 29/37

Rookie Lookie #2:

1.6 – QB Tony Plamondon, Georgia State, 41/63, 43/61
2.7 – OG Lonnie Montano, Boston College, 49/67, 57/72
3.6 – WLB Matthew Streb, Seton Hall, 38/58, 46/58
4.7 – OT Robert Lowery, Penn State, 25/46, 28/46
5.6 – TE Keenen Giron, Colorado State, 27/41, CUT
6.7 – CB Ellis Familo, Michigan State, 39/49, 43/48
7.6 – DE Tommy Dick, Northern Colorado, 29/45, 33/45

Nice rise by Montano!

UFAs:

CB Keenan Reed – 33/48, 37/51
ILB Toby Hobby – 34/50, 35/45
OLB Duke Auguste – 27/47, CUT
OG Kelly Bently – 20/45, 25/46
QB Derek Stock - 31/42, 31/42

Good rise by CB Reed and is Bently rising?

Here’s my 1st round hopeful:

You can see his stuff. Nothing too bad stats wise save for timing and lower accuracy and 2-Minute. De Groat is 49/56 and Tolentino boomed strongly to 51/67.

Let’s turn to my starters and depth:

Here’s my starters, special teams and all players with a future of 50+ subs. This is a very even team with just three starters with a sub-50 and those are 49/49 Luvu, 43/61 QB and 44/44 NT Yang. Hopefully my coaches will start WLB Streb and NT Tuttle there. Also slot is 48/48 Thielen too. Many dropped this year – Brown, Armstrong to 50/50, TE Engram to 45/45, Moton to 53/53, Legette to 59/59 and more. Rises by Taylor! From 57 to 60 in his like 20 thousandth year. Dude is a machine.

Can this solid team with a rookie QB but a stud RB and solid O Line for once and then good positional strength make the playoffs and get a winning record?

Week 15 – Tennessee – We win low scorer 21-10. Taylor broke out with 19 for 160 and QB Plamondon is 24 of 33 for 202 and 3:0. Scores by Legette, Thielen and Schultz. 2 sacks by Jones, 4 KRb by Moton 3 3by Dalman

Week 16 – New Orleans – We win another low scorer 13-9. Stats? Taylor 22 for 85 and 1 score, Plamondon 30 of 37 for 197 and 1:0. Hitting for score Legette. S Winfield a pick. 5 KRb by Brown, 3 by Dalman.

Week 17 – Houston – We are thumped by them 37-7. I’ll skip the notes

We are leading the NFC South. The next team is 6-7.

Week 18 – At Tampa – We win a close one 28-25, to go to 10-6. Stats? Taylor 109 on 18 carries with 1 score. Plamondon was 15 of 27 for 160 and 2:0. Scores by Legette and Thielen. Pick by Horn, FF by Luvu rec by Armstead, 4 KRb by Brown and Moton.

Note Plamondon had a bad and hit that wall with four bad performances, but our team stopped any collapses and we won 3.

NFC South:

10-7 Carolina
6-10-1 Atlanta
4-12-1 Tampa Bay
4-12-1 New Orleans

Not a great year by our division, but I’ll take a division vin and double digit record in Plamondon’s rookie year

All Pro 2nd Team:

WR Xavier Legette
WLB Frankie Luvu

O. Rookie of the Year went to Finnell.

RB Taylor – 322 for 1511 yards, top in league, 9 scores, 2nd most

Strong stuff Taylor!

Catching;

WR Legette was 144 for 1442, and 15 scores, 6th most yards and the most scores
TE Schultz 47 for 641 and 9th best TE, 6 scores
WR Thielen – 67 for 677 and 4 scores
WR McLaurin – 47 for 433 and 2 scores

OG Patrick – 34 KRB and 5 pancakes and 7 sacks
OT Moton – 33 KRB and 12 sacks
OG Richter – 24 KRB, 1 pancake, 7 sacks

My coach started Richter despite a better one on the bench, I’ll cut him to stop that since he dropped to 47/47.

Special teams:

P Allen – 83 punts, 38 into the 20 – great %, 39.88 avg was down

Defense:

WLB Frankie Luvu – 11.5 sacks, 2 TFL, 16 hurries, 17 QB knockdown, 5 FF.

Led my team for FF , sacks, and knockdowns with a 48/48 rating

Very strong for 50/50 down rating, our best year for a DE yet for us

DT Brown – 8 sacks, 2, 1, 15, 15, 2 FF stats

Best year for starter here too

DT Tuttle – Subbing, 5.5 sacks, 1, 4, 14, 10
DE Willams – 5.5 sacks, 4, 7, 6 and 5

Fine there too. Tuttle always fun time.

SLB Jones was down to 4 sacks, 3, 1, 4, 4 – his rating was 58/58 so was last year a one hit wonder? 1 pick, 8 pasdef, 4 fum rec led team though

SS Winfield led team in tackles with 157 full and partial – 2 Int, 9 pasdef, 2 FF

Pass Coverage:

CB Horn – 2 picks, 23 pasdef,
FS Holland – 2 picks, 15 pasdef
CB Devonshire – 0 picks, 16 pasdef

The 2027 NFL Offseason:

Any major retirements?

We scored 44, Cap raises by 4.1 mill,

Coming back are Taylor, Engram, Patrick, Moton, Riley, Schultz, Brown, Luvu, all 10 year vets or more . McLaurin is coming back but retiring is Thielen.

I cut Richter while thinking about it.
Our Stadium has 158 luxury boxes, max is 350, 19 support for new plan, should I expand it? I cannot, but I can just submit a newstadium. I skip

We sold out last year and I increase all prices and 10k boxes. Since we were in the playoffs and have a 1st round Qb to sell seats I hope that’ll keep the sell outs

Staff Draft:

I cannot in good conscience move on after a 10-7 playoff season – only if they’re poached

None are

We are drafting 25th.

The draft is revealed and it’s also strong with two studly Qbs. I need WR, there are 2 7s and 3 mores 6s to potentially have at 1.25, since McLaurin wasn’t studly last year. Or I could snag D on DE/NT and there will, hopefully be depth there. None in the 7s and mid 6s. Liam Wallace at 7.3. Hopefully they’ll be focused on Qbs and three RBS with 7+ to let the DLine fall. Two solid LBs too. Okay LB and DB, not super deep or top heavy. Can I snag a studly TE? One 5.9, one 5.1 that’s it

Anyone I wanna cap?

I have free:

DE Williams 51/51 is the best. No thanks

I’ll head to FA.

The 2027 Free Agency:

I have available for new FAs 49.7 mill or extensions too

Day 1 – I offer to:

Coming free is K Nico Browder, he’s 64/64, and wants 19.4 mill for 4 years. He’s the best Kicker coming up, but he hasn’t really played to it so I’ll be looking for a replacement this year. I sign him

CB Devonshire is free and wants 46.76 mill for four years for 58/58, or I could draft a replacement. I need a 5th one if he leaves to start or be nickelback

DE Williams – Cheap, but he’s a valuable DE spot. Should I bring in a FA across from Armstrong? Actually Armstrong retired. I sign him 2 years for 7.48 mill

TE Engram – 2 years for 6.6 mill

WR Mingo - 2 years for 7.4 mill

I am letting go RB Sanders, NT Brown, WR Devine, MLB Riley, FS Fuller

Extensions? Who’s free in a year?

TE Schultz
OT Moton
Rb Taylor
LG Patrick
WR McLaurin
WR Leggette – I could extend him a year since he’s a 1st rounder
ILB Walker
LS Triner
FB Mitchell
CB Jackson
CB Wade-Smith
WLB Luvu

I extend Triner now

What does Legette want? He’s worth it. 71.4 mill extension for 4 years. That’s a cap rise this year from 3.9 to 14.68. He’s worth it. I could wait until post draft to see if I draft a top 5 WR in the 1st, but I would need to keep the cap space free. Or I could just 5th year extend him on the 24th and come back later.

Is there anyone else to spend the money on beyond Devonshire?

I’ll hold off until post draft. If I draft the replacements for Moton,

I need in FA/Draft

Starter WR since McLaurin was weak and Thielen retired
Stud C – C Dalman was very strong as a 55/55 guy, but he’s 29
RT for Moton –
K for Allen
Backup RB
Backup OG
Stud ILB since MacPhail busted to 54 and Walker is leaving and 8th year vet – more of a draft need
Starter DE for Armstrong; stud for 2 51/51 starters
Stud NT

What to do with Devonshire? Can I sign a cheap FA to get me a nickelback okay until the draft? Who’s free? Jackson is 50/50 by the by. The next best is 51/51, he’s the best on the market by far. His salary cap hit this year is 8.75 mill and then 4 years at 46.7 mill.

CB Wade-Smith is coming free next year. What does he want now? 18 mil for 4 years increasing his cap hit this year to 3.54 from 1.27 I do it, that’s cheaper than I expected.

I will let Devonshire go, I cannot pay that much for a 4th DB after Winfield, Horn, and Howard. Maybe he’ll still be around later in FA and will come back later, but I doubt it. I’ll need to chase a starting or nickelback CB in the draft too

I finish and head to Day 2

Day 2 – I now have 38.6 mill in cap and want to save 10 mill for post draft for 28.6

Who is free at DE or ILB – I could sign one for Armstrong and draft another

DE Maxx Crosby wants 37.7 mill for two years a cap hit this year of 17.4 – he’s 9th year, 84/84

A lot more CB folks were let go than Devonshire. He’s now the 6th best DBack and 3rd best B

I need a natural NT ideally, not a 3-4 one.

DT Eric Johnson is 68/68, wants just 12 mill for three years and is a 6 year vet, 3rd best on the field. More of a 4-3. 3.49 mill in year one cap hit.

Want to splash the cash?

DT Raekwon Davis – 76/76 top DT, age 29, 8 year, wants 54.44 mill for 3 years and 1st year cap hit is 15.5. Two All Pros.

A “Cheaper” DE would be 65/65 4th best on the board, for Felix Anudike-Uzomah, age 25, wants 50 mill for four years, this year a cap hit of 9.38. Him and Johnson would be 12.87 for both, with some more for adding bonuses to sign them. Let’s say 500k for Johnson and 1 mill for Felix. That would be roughly

3.666 cap hit with Johnson and Felix is 9.63 = 13.296 so 13.3 spent. They are both younger in their prime and would really help to push my roster.

Crosby with a 1 mil bonus boost has cap hit of 17.88 is and Johnson are 21.546 and leaves me 17 mill ish. But Crosby is pretty old. But he’s 84/84 and even if he falls a bit he’ll still be a stud.

I offer Johnson for sure.

Crosby or Anudike-Uzomah?

I go between them, for:

DE Kingsley Enagbare – Age 27, 6th year vet, 76/76, 39 mill for 3 year, cap hit 10.93, this year

I have 45 people on my roster, so those two D Line are it.

Day 3 – Enagbare signs with Giants for a few million more

Next I offer Felix Anudike-Uzomah

Day 4 – Both Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Johnson accept

Crosby signs with the Colts

I extend Legette for 71 mill 4 yearsm it’s cheaper than extending him.

I end FA and CB Devonshire is still unsigned.

Drafttime!!!

The 2027 NFL Amateur Draft:

I need stud only TE, DE, starting WR, CB, RT, stud K, backup OG, Sx2, Rb, starting two iLB,

Ready?

I got cha!

Our 1.25 pick is here!

Who is frumping around?

All of the good Wrs are gone. The best left is 6.1, The Browns offer us a trade for the 1.25 pick for their 6th this year and then their 1st next year and 3rd in two years. I do like that a bit since all of the WRs are gone. Who’s left? 6.1 WR Ryan Deash underrated. What about RT for Moton? There is a 6.8 Tae Casillo on the board with a Hard to Read interview. His bars are good for STR and his locking is mid-level good.

Actually:

6.6 DT but good at 3-4 DE Terrell Hockenhull is there too with a Overrated

CB? Two 6.3s are there at Overrated and As Scouted

ILB? Nope, but there is a 6.4 Underrated OLB named Zaire Bender

Castillo? Hockenhull? Bender? Tradeout? Hockenhull has the best bars but with overrated he may be a bust ready to happen, but I have two 51/51s if that happens. His volatility is just 24. He’s studly at Run D, Diag, average pass rush and strength, none of these are needs and just replace but I think he’s the savest gamble. I grab him.

2nd Round – There are two high 50s CBs available named Hansel, 5.9, Underrated and 5.8 Guiterrez As Scouted. No good WRs are here. RT? 5.9 Steven McDonald, with an As Scouted. I think they are equal since both are full and we are looking for replacement or nickelback. Gutierrez has a nasty good INT Rating. As Scouted is good there too. My staff want Rb Stuart Alvarado who is a backup. There is also 5.9 ILB named Cashman with the rating of As Scouted, Cashman looks best. But that’s the worst need since I have two starters. I grab him – we are a 3-4 after all.

3rd Round – Hansal still on the board, I snag him.

4th Round – My staff want WR Carlos Bury who is the top Wr on the board and As Scouted. I snag him

5th Round - My staff like RB Leon Mauro who is the 2nd best and Overrated. I take him.

6th Round – I like underrated S Jayson McHugh just 4.3 but top one. I snag him

7th? I take the Very Underrated CB Harvey Nordstrom who is 5.3

We also have comp pick 7.35 - I snag BAP DE Jorge Gines with a 5.6 rating

The 2027 Carolina Panthers Draft Class:

1.25 – DT Terrell Hockenhull, Colorado, 53/71
2.25 – ILB Shaun Cashman, Georgia Tech, 45/62
3.25 – CB Amani Hansal, California, 38/46
4.25 – WR Carlos Bury, Nebraska, 31/40
5.25 – RB Leon Mauro, South Carolina, 32/42
6.25 – S Jayson McHugh, Ohio State, 27/36
7.25 – CB Harvey Nordstrom, Penn State, 27/38
7.35 – DE Jorge Gines, Cincinnati, 26/50

Hockenhull is nasty. Even if he falls a bit with Overrated, I still will be okay with a 67 or 65 guy there. Cashman fell. Hopefully Hansal’s Underrated will kick in, ditto McHugh and Nordstorm. That was atwo player draft.

The NFL 2027 NFL Preseason:

We send playbooks and more

Assessment day arrives. It looks like we are starting Hockenhull at DT for Johnson, but that may be preseason. Luvu is starting for Streb and not MLB Cashman in the middle

Week 2 – vs LA Chargers – Can we sweep three preseasons in a row? We’ll find out at home today!!! We win 31-28, two Des are Doubtful, Kidder and Crumely

Week 3 – At Houston – We win 30-9

Week 4 – At Tennessee – We win 39-7

I extend WR McLaurin by 2 years for 15.7 mill – increase by 2.7 in cap

I have bad news. Our QB busted, Tony Plamondon is now 23/28, and Jeff Price started and won in preseason. He’s 44/49.

I have 58 players, I cut 6:

RB Kent Quinoes
NT Shuttle – Sorry!
DE Crumudy
CB Familo
DE Dick
ILB Kohlhaas

Rookie Lookie #2:

1.25 – DT Terrell Hockenhull, Colorado, 53/71, 55/64
2.25 – ILB Shaun Cashman, Georgia Tech, 45/62, 47/59
3.25 – CB Amani Hansal, California, 38/46, 34/36
4.25 – WR Carlos Bury, Nebraska, 31/40, 32/38
5.25 – RB Leon Mauro, South Carolina, 32/42, 33/39
6.25 – S Jayson McHugh, Ohio State, 27/36, 31/38
7.25 – CB Harvey Nordstrom, Penn State, 27/38, 31/41
7.35 – DE Jorge Gines, Cincinnati, 26/50, 32/46

Lots of falls from Cashman to Hansal. Small rises with McHugh and Norstrom are those risers?

UFAs:

S Reggie Garcia, 23/48, 26/35
ILB Joseph Kohlkas, 20/45, CUT
RB Kent Quinones - 28/38, CUT

Not great here either. Not great at all.

I move Hockenhull to LDE. 53/60.

I move Johnson to NT – 61

I move McLaurin to FL and RG for Patrick.

The 2027 Carolina Panthers Starters and Good Depth:

I sorted by starting and potential. You can see our starters are QB Price then Taylor is still awesome and FB Mitchell okay, Schultz busts to 54/54, Brown to 52/52, Montano to 60/60, Moton to 49/49, Walker to 54/54, SLB Jones isn’t starting at 53/53, Horn is back to 72/72, Winfield busted to 66/66. Everyone else looks their norm.

The 2027 NFL Regular Season:

Was last year a one hit wonder? Will we do badly again this year to collect another high pick for QB? Or should I trade for an extra now? Any teams with a spare backup? Cincinnati has 51/51 backup is frumping around. That’s roughly here. Dallas has 60/60 Prescott and 74/74 Okonlawon. What do they want for Prescott? Nothing. Okonlawon. Nope. No one else. Many Qbs are roughly price level, only the last three years of Drafts have been QB heavy. We might do better than you think since Price at 49 pot is around Dalton levels at 51/51 and he was 4k. Taylor is loaded too.

Week 1 – New Orleans – We win 31-18. Taylor is 21 for 128 and Price is 16 of 25 for 224 and 3:1. Scores by Schultz, Legette and Bury, McLaurin has 6 for 148. Nice opener for him. Picks by Winfield and CB Reed. FF by DT Johnson and FS Holland both rec by Horn. 3 KRB by Brown and Dalman.

LS Triner is out for 12 weeks, we IR him

Week 2 – At Denver – We thump them away 31-7. They held Taylor to 56 yards but 2 scores. Price is 22 of 31 for 331 and 1:1. Score by Legette on 91 yards, McLaurin 8 for 101. It looks so far like Price has a nice connection with McLaurin. Pick six by Horn!!! Pick by FS Holland, FF by OLB Jones, rec by LB Streb. 4 KRB by Brown.

DE Anudike-Uzomah injured questionable for a few weeks

Week 3 – At Detroit – We lose badly 13-35. Stats are Taylor just 46 yards Price is 21 of 29 for 243 and 1:1 pulled in 4th. McLaurin 99 yards the score, 2.5 sacks by DT Johnson, just 5 KRB on the day by everyone, bad blocking

Week 4 – At SF – We lose 15-25. Taylor held to 49 yards, Price is 23 of 36 for 216 and 0:1. FF and rec by DT Johnson, just 4 KRb again, we need to unlock Taylor to win with Price.

Doubtful G Patrick for 5 weeks

We cannot go 8-9 that means we’ll have bad draft picks.

Week 5 - LA Rams – We win 30-23. Stats? Taylor? 21 for 156, 1 score. There we are. Price 32 of 43 for 372 and 2:0. Legette 12 for 154 and 1 score the other by WR Mingo. Pick by Horn, Montano 5 KRB

Much better, but keeps us roughly even.

Week 6 – Seattle – We are thumped in our place 21-42. They doubled our score! Stats? Price is 24 of 38 for 245 anddddd 1:4. Ugly. Legette 8 for 107, TE Schutlz score, FS Holland a Pick six!!!! 3 sacks by Hockenhull, nice, 3 KRB by Montano and Brown.

Doubtful SLB Jones for 5 weeks. Again 3-3.

Week 7 – Atlanta – We win 27-21. Stats: Taylor 23 for 88 and 1 score; Price 28 for 33 and 335 and 3:1. Scores by McLaurin 11 for 136 and 1 and Legette 8 for 118 and 1 score. And Taylor caught the other. TWO picks by FS Holland, 5 KRB by Dalman, 3 by Moton and Montano

Week 8 – at New Orleans – We win 31-26 – Taylor held to 84 yards, RB Brooks a rush score, Price was 18 of 23, 1:0, for181 yards and connecting with McLaurin for score. KR/PR Jaysin McHugh gave us a PR RET Score for the win. And PICK SIX by Holland did too. 4 KRB by Montano, 3 by Dalman

LB Luvu is out for the season with a 16 week injury, we IR him. Sorry buddy.

Week 9 – Cincinnati – Can we upend this powerhouse at home to go to 6-3? Yes!!! We win 34-24. Taylor 22 for 87 and 1 score, Price 18 for 31, 151 and 1:1, score by RB Taylor, TWO picks sixes, one by Horn and one by Holland, pick by Reed too, the pick that Price through was FF by Legette and recovered by us. 4 KRB by Montano and Dalman, 3 by Brown

We are 6-3, and are we getting our mojo? I hope so!

Price has 2272 yards and tied with Mahomes for 5th most. With 736 rush, Taylor is 3rd. McLarin is 3rd with 807 yards and Legette 5th with 739. Could we see a year with both hitting 1k? Or even All Pro? Johnson leads the team with 6 sacks, Hollands 6 picks lead the lead and Horn has 3.

Week 10 – At Arizona – We lose low scoring match 16-13. Taylor held to 71 yards, Price held to 18 of 32 for 238 and 1:2. McLaurin 5 for 124 and score by Flood, 5 KRB by Montano

Week 11 – Tampa Bay – We win 35-24. Taylor is 29 for 102, QB Price and RB Brooks rush scores, 23 of 34 for 222 and 3:1. Leggette 91 yards and 2, the other by McLaurin, CB Jackson a pick, 4 KR by Brown 5 by Patrick

CB Keenan Reed is out for the season and we IR him.

Week 12 – At Kansas City – We won against Cincinnati at home, how about this other recent Super Bowl Champion on the road? I’ll just be happy if we show up. We lose badly 3-18, but at least our D showed up and no one was injured. Price was 19 of 35 for 210 and no picks and Legette was 8 for 101 yards.OR Brown with 4 KRB

Week 13 – Phily – From one heavy to another. But at least this one is at home. Can we show up? Cn we win? We lose, understandably 31-20. Taylor held to 37 yard, Price is 28 for 51 366 and 1:1. McLaurin 6 for 136 and Legette 11 or 116 and the score. ILB Walker with the pick six, and 2 sacks by Anudike-Uzomah, 3 KRB by Moton

We are 7-6 and tied with Atlanta but ahead.

Price is 3279 yards and that’s 10th even; Taylor 5th with 1001 yards, that was an ugly quarter for him, McLaurin 6th with 1117 yards and Legette 8th with 1076. Both are over 1k with FOUR games to go! No picks by Holland or Horn

Week 14 – BYE

Week 15 – Las Vegas – We win 33-16. Taylor 21 for 109. Price 21 of 35 for 253 and 4:1 hitting for scores McLaurin with 75 yards and 2, FB Mitchell and Legette 1 each. Pick by Horn, 3 KRB by all five of y starters save for Moton.

Week 16 – at Tampa Bay – They are 7-7 near us. We shut them down 33-3. We score more in the 1st quarter (14) to beat them. Taylor 19 carries but just 28 yards and a score too. Price was 20 of 25, 258 and 4:0. They pulled him for Stock late who added nothing. McLaurin 71 yards and 2 grabs, Legette and WR Bury the other scores. Get ready…THREE Picks by Winfield! FF by LB Streb and Horn, rec by OLB Ream and Hockenhull. 2 sacks by Jones, 3 KRB by Patrick,

Nice win, but not great for Taylor. We are

Week 17 – LA Chargers – Atlanta won both games, so we need to win today. They are 9-5-1 and winning the AFC East in front of KC so this is not an easy task, but we are at home. We thump them 37-10. Stats are Taylor 29 for 133, 1 score, RB Brooks too, Price is 21 of 27, 315 and 2:0. McLaurin 6 for 122, scores by Bury and TE Chayefsky, 3 KRB by Brown and Montano. Not great for D, despite the low score, we had no TOs, just 2 sacks

Week 18 – At Atlanta – They lost, but we might lose the division with a loss today, but have clinched a WC. We lose a close one 23-24. Stats – Taylor 27 for 95, Price 26 of 33, 338, 2:1, McLaurin both scores. 2 sacks by Jones, just those 2 sacks, no TO, 3 KRB by Brown.

But…

We still won the division with the same record as last year:

NFC South:

Carolina Panthers – 10-7
Atlanta Falcons – 10-7 WC
New Orleans Saint - 7-10
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 7-10

Very close to each other.

CB Jaycee Horn
SS Antonine Winfield

That’s Horn’s 3rd All Pro in four years. Ditto Winfield. Were Holland and McLaurin robbed? Let’s turn to stats next:

Stats:

Offense:

Price was 378 for 554 for 4433 yards, 9th most, CJ Stroud was 5700. 30:15, 9th most, 96.5 rating, not bad for his first full year starting, but he’s pretty developed

Taylor was 346 for 1352 and finished 6th, top was 1454 by Khalil Herbert , if he had the same season as last year he would have led. 7 scores

Catching:

WR Terry McLaurin – 99 for 1506 and 10 scores. Scores were 2nd most, yards 5th most. 4th was Ceedee Lamb with 1555 and 6 grabs and he DID make the All Pro. Who would you have chosen?

TE Schultz – 50 for 527 and 2 scores

I end the season

The 2028 NFL Offseason:

Any retirements?

My OC Retired, coming back is Schultz, Engram, Moton, Patrick, Brown, Luvu, McLaurin

My eval is 57

QB Derek Stock has boomed to 36/50, but Price at 48/48 will still start barring a rookie or QB in Fa Last year a 60/60 QB was on FA, so that might happen, or a rookie.

We are picking late 1.29.

Stadium – Once again, 100% full. The desire for a new one rose to 22. I go ahead and submit a new plan for. Since we just had two playoff runs, I feel that’s not a bad time to submit a plan:

Max Capacity at 85k – ours is 74,847

Luxury Boxes maxed at 350: ours is 158

Expected cost of 2.96 billion. We’ll chip in half. We’ll find out post vote.

I massage my TIX price like normal

Staff Draft:

I reup all of my coaches. It looks like DC Starnes and Head Trainer Easily don’t want to reup

OC:
I liked what the Air Coryell did. But I’ll just grab the best OC.

Shannon Weirich – Balanced, OL – age 56, best playcaller at 90, 80 mot, 60 each youth and dev, 50 interview and INT, low scouting and discipline, IF you want a great developer and game planner that’s him

Kevin Stefanski – Age 45, Smashmouth, QB cares, very different. 100 youth, 60 dev, 50 discip, 50 INT, 90 each interviews and scouting. Bad mot and playcalling. He is all about finding and developing your dorks. Hopefully less busts on O with him

Josh Gil – West coast, 57, RB, very smart, 90, 80 motivation and scouting, 70 youth, 50 interview,s low dev playcalling and discipline

Manny Campbell – Erdardt Perkins age 46, QB, just two bad ratings – dev and INT - 70 in motivation, playcalling and no 60s, 50s everywhere else. He’s more medium less bad but less good. I prefer Gil’s plus but 70 play calling is strong

Keion Zaden – Spread, Qb 48, just one bad in play development. 90 interviews, 80 discipline 70 in three places – playcalling, scouting and smarts, 60 motivation and 50 youth. He’s great

I hire Zaden.

Draft class revealed with two Stud QBS top. Two TEs rating of 5.7 and 5.9, tons of great RBs. No good C. Two 6.0 OG, RT for Moton? 6 6.s and 7. Not that strong Dline, WLB for Luvu? Justone 6.5 LB at any position, weak. Secondary has 8.0, two 7s and just one 6.5, so top heavy. WR for 3rd with spread offense? One 6.6, next is 5.5 that’s it I may need to sign in FA.

Any players I want to franchise?

Coming free in LB is Luvu, ILB Walker at 53/53,, but I drafted his replacement last year, and nickelback Jackson who is 41/41. No thanks

I head to FA.

The 2028 Early Free Agency:

After hiring new and better scouting OC, I have changes to Plamondon now 21/27, QB Stock is back to 35/43,

Who is leaving:

I am letting WLB Luvu, since he’s 11th year vet. I drafted WLB Streb who can starter, Walker, 9th year vet, and LB Trevin Wallace. This is a weaker ILB draft, but I have just 13.5 mill free for FAs.

Free now to resign:

RB Brooks – Wants 5.8 two years to resign, 41/41
DT Yang – 48/48, wants 6 mill for two years. Would resign if my HC would stop starting him over Jackson
DT Mestre – 45/45 - fine
WLB Roger Ream – 37/37- fine

Thinking. Do I want to chase Luvu?

Current LB Corp with him and Walker gone;

SLB Jones – 53/53
WLB Streb – 57/57
ILB Cashman – 59/59
ILB MacPhail – 52/52

I still need a Stud SLB to unlock everything and a better option than MacPhail.

Is there anyone I could trim? Plamondon is just 2.3 mill freed on a cap of 9 mill to due to high bonuses. I could cut Moton and force a better RT this year and free up 10.25 mill.

Anyone coming free I need to resign prior to FA:

DE Kidder – 51/51, wants 7.55 2 years to resign, great depth
LS Triner – Resigned
ILB MacPhail – Let him go
FB Mitchell
DE Williams - 51/51, wants 6.8 for 2 years
QB Price – Wants 100 mill for five years and rise cap this year from 11.9 to 21.9 – increase 10 mill
SS Winfield – Wants 25.5 mill two years which drops cap this year by 3 mill. I wait until post-draft. Ditto FS Holland who wants 18.6 mill for two years to drop cap hit by 1.1 mill since the drafts good early D Backs are heavy S.
LT Brown – Dropped to 52/52. I’ll let him walk
RT Moton – 49/49, not great, I’ll let him walk – if cut will save 10.25 mill
TE Schultz – Wants 23.3 mill for two years, 50/50, getting older.

For Draft/FA:

I need starting RT for Moton, LT for Brown after this year, sign/draft stud SLB to unlock my team like Jones in his debut year with me, draft ILB MacPhail replacement, find replacement for Price or sign, although there is 5th year option. Draft or sign nickelback, 3rd WR, S replacement, Although 20 mill is lower. Also draft a replacement for older OG Patrick.

I head to Day 2. Who’s frumping around?

DE Maxx Crosby was let go. Can I find a cheap RT to start for Moton and cut him? What does it look at Draft where I’ll need LT too. Ot is very deep and tons of LTs too. 4 top are LTs. I could cut Brown and save 19 mill

QB Carr is free, 60/60, wants 33.99 for two years. That’s 15.64 this year. He’s a 15 year vet though, and I’d prefer to acquire a draft instead.

QB Bo Nix is 47/53 and wants backup money at 10.9 mill two years in case I need to go cheap

OT has a few players in the 60s like 64/64 Darian Kinnard who is RT and want 60 mill over four years. He’s in his 6th year and could easily replace Moton, with a salary cap hit of 11.33 this year,

I cut QB Plamondon to free up 2.43 mill. That drops my roster to 44

TE Cade Cotton, 62/62 wants 11.53 mill this year , 7 year vet, 41.44 three years, also free is

TE Schultz is making as a 50/50 13.65 this year. All three 50s also want low double digits stuff but are older like Cotton.

WR DK Metcalf – Wants two year of 11.28, is 55/55 for my 3rd WR in spread, and is 10th year vet and 30 years old, so he’ll likely drop and then that’s a cap hit this year of 5.25.

There is also younger 54/54 WR named Jermaine Burton age 26, year 5, who wants 25 mill for 4 years 5.01 cap hit this year. That’s what I like, younger, cheaper. I offer him with a boost in bonus to 5.26

OT has a 50/50 LT for two years, also older like Brown, 7.52 mill two years, 3.54 hit, 11 year also likely to drop named Mike Mcglicnthy. I could cut Brown and bring him in as emergency coverage.

LT Rasheed Walker – 7 year vet, 50/50, wants 11.78 mil for 3 years, cap hit this year of 3.4. Thats it. I offer him with an elevated boost to get to 3.7 and offer.

There is a cheap CB named Derek Stingley, 7th year vet, with ranking of 62/62 for 2 years, 8.33 3.78 offer
him my nickelback spot for cheap, or start and drop back Wade-Smith? I do it, I offer him a cap hit this year for 4.08.

Should I offer RT Kinnard? I’ll have the money if I bring in Walker and cut Brown or Moton. 60 mill for four years for a 64/64 OT seems reasonable.

What about SLB to stud up from Jones?

The best is SLB Ian Purington, age of 24, 4 year vet, wants 51.4 mill for 4 years and cap hit this year of 9.62 and is a strong 67/67. If I sign him I can cut Jones with a freed cap hit of 4.2

I cut OT Brown now to give him more time to find a great home. I now have free 34.93 mill. I offer Ian with 10.12 with 2 mil more bonus. I need a stud LB and we are 3-4. I have 43 on my roster

Day 3 – I update the WR Burton offer since others are interested. I add three million in bonus

Day 4 – Burton resigns with the Bengals for cheap. My next offer is to WR Tee Higgens, 2 years, 9th year, 53/53, for 10.92 and 4.75 this year

Day 6 – CB Stingley is ours!

Day 7 – Purington does not join us. He signs for a few million more. Do I want the older 61/61 Damone Clark 7th year vet? He wants 25.5 for three years at 7.19 this. I offer him 7.5 this year.

Day 10 – SLB Clark and LT Walker join, I cut Jones and free up 4.2 mill. I have free 23.48

Day 12 – Tee Higgens arrives! My cap is now 19.08

The top two QBs on the board are 9.3 QB Harold Fiste with As Scouted, and QB Dorian Cid with 9.1 and Overrated we know how good my coaches are. The Steelers have the first pick. To trade with them is this first and the next 2, common for tops. Do I want to risk it all on Fiste? He is studly with everything save for Footwork, okay and horrible confidence, if he was a studly guy he’d be worth it. He’s low volatility and okay developed. Can we really with a Super Bowl with a 48/48 guy leading my team? But do I want to follow up Plemondon and Price with another first round in this position? That would take a lot of bullets out of my gun. But since I know we have a backup who can win with this team…why not?

I make trade. It’s not my normal, but why not? Let’s make the trade

I do not extend Price, it’d be 63 mill.
