Autumn, lets put this to rest once and for all.

You state the fact that we had ONE single unit of work more than we needed on ALL 4 items yesterday.

We had THREE people on the mission.

even if all THREE of us came back and covered something all the sympathizers had to do was fake work on whiever item had the weakest support. no matter how we put our SINGLE units each there would be ONE item with only ONE unit more than required.

Any sympathizer could have screwed us yesterday even with EVERYONE doing the work. They had the numbers in their favor yesterday, they played their cards very well.

If we had not gone on the mission at all we would still have been easy to screw over, with or without the arrest. The arrest ability symply made it easier for them.

SInce we DID go on the mission at least we came back with items that can help us in the future.

Now if you want to keep harping on this you guarentee that I will vote for you because you're argument is a moot point. Even if we did what you wanted us to do at the time we would STILL HAVE FAILED. I don;t know how I can make that any clearer to you.

You're focusing on a useless point and trying to push suspicion on people based on that useless point.

But we would have failed with no extra items of harm in the game and we would have failed with the ability to start to figure out who had faked.

For the record, I did bend the truth to concern the sympathizers as well. The shotgun is 'barely adequate' for self defense, and according to the PM, there are better weapons for that.

I passed the shotgun on to one of the hunters, as I recall. Though clearly Autumn can vouch it wasn't him.

Kind of feeling the same way Poli. Heinz mentioned something about people being hyper-aggressive or whatever, and that was probably aimed at me. I don't know why, but the last two games left me fairly frustrated (one in which I played very well and the other in which I got railroaded early and let it untrack me the rest of the way) and I think I'm carrying that into here. I'm going to try to be a bit more calm but, for some reason, it feels like it's been building.

I miss the teamwork aspect of the dungeon game which, even though it wasn't set up to be a teamwork game, turned into a pretty good one. I may have to take one of the next game off.

Frankly, I agree PurdueBrad. It seems early for the wolves to have been sure at the point you switched off. But not impossible, especially if there were several wolves involved in the mission.

I'm sorry it's getting you, Poli. I don't necessary agree with Pass's analysis or vote, but we all are going to get called liars in this game, right? It can certainly get frustrating.

My frustration level deals with only one man at this point. A man who feels I should take his two posts after I posted I was going on the mission and treat them as gold.

Oh, I think the point of my vote post must have been missed. He said that he left for the day before I posted, so he said: "I didn't see a darn thing you typed before I left for the day, Pass." -- but his last post of the morning was #479, at 7:00 AM, which is 10 minutes after my posts came. My comment of "I'm sorry...that you're a liar!" was meant as a joke, and if it wasn't taken that way, I apologize.

You've given me the choice of answering you and getting voted for, or not answering, but anyway.

I've explained, I think, that on Patrolling and Organization we had enough specialists that I believe we would have had two or three targets to pick from if either of these jobs were faked. Yes, we would have failed but we would have had an easy Oust there (or the best we can hope for).

If we had put three more people on Food then it would have made it much more difficult to fail us there. Several wolves would have had to fake, and I think that would have given us good information if they dared to do it.

It was not a foolproof plan but as far as I know it was the best that the village came up with.

I am not claiming that the fact that you went on the mission makes you a Sympathizer.

Accepted.

My point was that before I posted I was going on the mission, I didn't see anything you wrote...you hadn't wrote anything. Afterward, I honestly didn't read your posts up until I left. That last post toward PB was indeed my last of the morning...and quite honestly, all I noticed was that PB was going on the mission...which struck me odd. I skimmed the other posts between mine and where I posted, but I can't say I read those nor did I glean through my skimming a total uproar over going on the mission.

Honestly, I had forgot I even posted after my mission post. I had totally thought I had left for the morning/day.

I wasn't wrong. You posted your stuff after I posted I was going on the mission...not before. Sure, you posted afterward...and within a 10 minute timeframe or so before I asked if PB was a searcher...but that doesn't mean I read it in my haste before I left for the day.

So I'm supposed to guess what posts you have read and haven't? My posts were definitely made before the end of the day, and when I called you out, you chose to be snide about it. If you have a problem with someone calling you a liar in a game where the whole idea is to find out people who are lying, then I don't think you have the right to take that tone with others.

The thing is, if you had just said, "my bad, I didn't realize it" that would have been a much better reaction than wigging out. Can't you see where I'm coming from here? You tell me you hadn't read any of my posts, but I know that you posted ten minutes after I had. What would you have inferred, if you were in my situation?

I agree that it's probably not getting us anywhere. I figure we'll do what we can on the camps, and since there's no mission to distract us, everyone will just line up where they can. Aren't there four jobs, though?

This bolded bit is the assumption you keep making that is entirely wrong. In whichever group they chose to fake they only required ONE wolf with a Xsomething multiplier to make us fail entirely. If we had overloaded the food they would have faked something else. EVen if we did so and they faked and we narroed our list down its still a 1 in what? 4-5 people shot at catching someone? I'd rather have our items. its a safer bet at helping us.

Its not about making a foolproof plan, its about looking back in hindsight and seeing that we were screwed from the beginning and accepting that instead of blathering on about the people on the mission actually making ANY difference in the outcome. based on yesterdays number requirements and the number of people we had we could not have succeeded unless the sympathizers chose to let us.

Go back over the numbers. try putting our three points in any way you want. It still comes out the same, especially seeing that they had the ability to simply remove one of our top production (x3) people from whichever group would work best for them.

Please drop this line of argument, I think I've proven that its a baseless and worthless excercise.
