Babylon 5 fans?
One of my favorite sci-fi series is being rebooted by J.Michael Straczynski for the CW, not behind their own company's subscription network (I'm looking at you Paramount!):

Two immediate thoughts. One, CW, not like netflix/amazon? It was a low budget show the first time, I can't imagine CW is gonna give them a big check either.
And, I honestly don't know how'd you replicate the sheer awesomeness of the interplay between Peter Jurasik (Londo) and the dearly departed Andreas Katsulas (G'kar). |

I just started watching and I'm currently halfway through the first season. So far I haven't seen the big overarching storylines that people were talking about, but I am enjoying it.
