I'm pretty sure this was discovered at some point.. that he was maybe involved in the Head Coach line AFTER MF was released.

I've just been looking at the operationsports list of sports text games and find this list for football:

Professional Football Simulator
Football Mogul
Action PC Football
Total Pro Football
Universal Football League
Draft Day Sports Pro Football
Strat-O-Matic Football

I always enjoyed playing Head Coach V3 back in the early nineties but have not been aware of a worthwhile multi-season, headcoach game since. Are any of the above worth downloading and playing?

I've been tempted by Strat-O-Matic, so was looking forward to opinion too. Enjoyed the board game, but I would prefer season on season progression, and can't work out if that is part of the PC version.

One you missed was Second & Ten - I've dl'd the demo a couple of times, but find it a little bit dry, and the career mode seems very clunky at best.

DDS: Pro Football hasn't been released yet, FWIW. I love FOF from a GM standpoint. TPF was a bit of a hot mess IMO, although some people really liked it. Football Mogul is terrible in every way.

I remember special moments, such as plays starting from inside the endzone... or ninja defenders that would be in stealth mode and then appear out of nowhere...

I was rereading this sometime last week which is why I realized this was coming up on 7 years. From start to finish, I am still amazed at this thread even though images were deleted or even references to other threads were removed.
