Quik thoughts:

RB Meteer may be the most productive guy, but he's a fumbler, needs to go back to RB3/KR/PR slot... we need a real RB, it seems, as Richmond has been given 300 carries and is sitting on 3.3 ypc

Passing... Duran isn't actually playing too well, but Cobb is just a massive pick machine, it seems, and this team cannot overcome that by any means

By the yards per play, the offense is terrible, and the defense is passable and improving

I am surprised you're fairing so poorly still with affinity. That has always been something I've remembered from your previous attempts with this.

To be honest... I/we have not been consistent with any approach. Had I been keeping around most of the no-good affinity veterans on this roster from the first season or two, we'd be in better shape there. But I have been lured off that path a bit by a few creepers here and big bars there, and really haven't committed to much. This year, I cut that first FB... long term guy, affinity, and ST skills to play as a gunner... but he'd be FB #4 on this roster by the skills. That's where this always gets tough-- cutting useful players to keep cohesion/chemistry stiffs around. I think it's probably best to go one way or the other, rather than trying to have it both ways like I basically am here.

Sorry, have lost steam, but don't think I'm done. Will try to buy a little time and post a file later today.

From the draft page, a few notes:

QB Rusty Trowbridge - 3 blues, incl 37 test
QB Craig Newsome - 3 blues, incl 35 test
FB Reggie Reid - like we need another
CB Mark VanDenBelt - 46 Pspec, big zone bar

Pretty modest invite list this year - I'm sick of spending 30 minutes on cutdown day. We have 55 guys returning, and 10 rookies. We'll see where things go from here.

Quick notes on camp:

-A +2 QB move is good... he's a triple conflict, though. What to do?

-Another big hit to TE Fredrickson... he's still good, but getting worn down

-I don't think CB VandenBelt is really any good, but we did need a DB bump, we're getting really old and tired there

I'll try to get back into the swing here, QS. That last list of names that I dug up at the very least learnt me quite a bit about rookies and drafting...
