ps2 region locked games?
I've done a couple of google searches with no luck finding an answer. Hope someone here could point me in the right direction.
My daughter has a friend visiting from Japan over the holidays. He has a ps2 at home and loves to play baseball games. Anyone know if MLB the Show (ps2) is region locked? I gave him a copy of High Heat 2003 (don't know if it is locked or not but it's just sitting in our basement game room so no loss if it doesn't) to take home but would like to pick up The Show for him if I knew it would work in Japan. Thanks. |

Unfortunately PS2 games are region locked.

PS-2 games are region locked however PS-3 games appear not to be (at least I've taken UK ones and used them on my machine in Florida).
Similarly PSP games are not region locked in the main (can't guarentee this for all games, but I haven't found one yet that is). |
