Wow, thanks to no NFC teams playing on the road on the west coast this week, Matt Vasgersian finally gets dragged into another part of the country. I hope he can handle Kansas City!!

It's hilarious that the Browns aren't in HD again.

One of four places in the whole stinkin' country that won't get to watch a game on FOX. Stupid.

It's ridiculous that CBS still does not broadcast all of its games in HD. Just shell out the many to cover that last game. Seriously.

They were supposed to have them all in HD this year. Evidently the NFL cut them a deal of some sort.

Darn, you're right. Well, apparently, the reason for that last week was Fox's 10-game offering. Their only west coast game was Seattle/Arizona, and they figured they'd dump Chris Rose and Terry Donahue there since nobody would be watching.

I'm glad for Matt Vasgersian. He's finally flying a few miles. He's having a chance to get out and see some football stadiums that he may have never even heard of. I like Matt Vasgersian. Good for him.

Huh? Everybody gets at least one game on FOX. Green Bay, New York, Boston, and Houston won't get an early game, while Seattle, Denver, and Oakland won't get a late game, but there will be one game on FOX for all those places.

I am not sure what the Lions will do without The Official Voice Of The Detroit Lions, Matt Vasgersian. He's become a staple...

As for CBS announcers, has anyone else noticed the way that Rich Gannon pronounces the word "offense"? It comes out as "owfense." I have been tempted to drive hot, sharp items into my ears at times because of Rich Gannon. I only listen because I like Kevin Harlan so much.

Every market gets a game on FOX. But if you live in a market who's home team is playing on CBS, you won't get a game on FOX at the same time. (You'll still have the one game, just not a doubleheader).

I thought that name sounded familiar. He used to do radio coverage of the (then) AA Texas League El Paso Diablos back when I was in high school...

He was also the host of that awesome sports trivia game show on Fox Sports Net (Lisa Guerrero was also on the show). Also was the voice of the Padres for a while...

Also was the the broadcast guy on the video game MLB 06 The Show. I am almost up to the playoffs in 2010 with the Mariners. I have played every game through my career from minor leagues to the majors. And even after 1,000+ games, I still do not mind listening to Matt Vasgersian call a game.

No they weren't. All games should be in HD next year. In fact, even Fox doesn't do all of their games in HD if they have 7 in a given week.

The reason CBS was slower to ramp up is they were during HD games well before FOX so they had older infrastructure that took time to replace.

Am I the only one who barely notices the announcers? I don't understand how people can get so worked up by one that's "bad".

Theismann and Maguire never caused you to mute your TV and turn on a radio broadcast? I can't believe that...

I like 'em. Maguire reminds me of an uncle that used to get me beer. I honestly don't get what's so horrible about them (or any announcer), to the point where it would effect my enjoyment of the game.

Ok, someone explain to me how we're suposed to see who gets the CBS late games from that map? because it can't be just the smal spots that show up in those colors.

For example, the poor bastards forced to suffer through yet another Buffalo fiasco with captian lose-man at QB, will they get a real game afterwards or do they just get shafted?

There is no CBS late game. It's a Fox doubleheader week, hence the "early" and "late" in those two maps. Everyone is just getting their local CBS game, either at 1 or at 4...no one gets both.

Everyone gets one CBS game this week, either an early or a late game, which is why its one map. There's two fox games except in a few areas of the country.

i thikn it alternates week to week, so next week there will be two CBS games and just one fox game.

I think Fox gets a few double-headers in a row in preparation for the MLB playoffs (when CBS will get a few in a row).
