Yeah, I actually don't want the Bears to go after Mario, unless by some miracle it's at a deep, deep discount (yeah right). There's just too many other holes to fill first (I'm looking at you, o-line). Williams would eat way too much cap space for them.

Yeah, although if the team is all-in, might as well do it and hope you can grab an OL in the draft. The line did improve last year and will have Williams and Carimi back from injury.

Saying the line improved is basically saying it moved from a festering pile of mammoth shit to a festering pile of dog shit.

It's still shit, and in my opinion, needs more than a single rookie lineman to be decent. Personally, I'd look for a good center, move Garza back to guard (where's he pretty fair), and pray you can upgrade at tackle while you're at it. Or, leave Garza at center, and hunt for a guard and a tackle. I'm betting it'd be easier to find a good center in the 2nd-4th round of the draft than a guard, however.

Gabe Carimi, Chris Williams, (Rookie Center), Roberto Garza, (FA Tackle) would be a best case scenario, I'd say.

Now Redskins on verge of signing 49ers WR Josh Morgan, too, to go along with Pierre Garcon

Goddamnit, losing Josh Morgan sucks. He's a great blocking WR and just a good guy.

But I think you're forgetting that the Redskins kicked their asses twice this season and they're only getting better.

Is Hankerson going to be the #1 guy? I saw a decent #2 and a couple #3s there but I didnt see anything that was going to scare a defense.

WHAT?! You don't find it scary when Garcon drops it on 3rd down, killing drives? That is scary shit to me.

I would think Marshall leaving Miami hurts their chances at Peyton.

I'm a big Garcon fan, even with his tendency to drop. He's a field stretcher and can really hit home runs. It'll give Griffin a great downfield target. Great signing by them.

Cool he did that. I'll always remember his domination of the Jets in the AFC Championship game in 2009.

Excellent point. I actually think Bess is an underrated WR down there. Maybe...although the Titans appear to be going all in on Manning.

If by getting better you mean bring in abounch of B- receivers, losing 36 million from the cap in the next 2 years, and trading away all their high picks then you are correct. Getting much better.

Congrats on the 2 regular season wins last year, I'll enjoy the Superbowl and the 2 pro bowl caliber receivers that helped lead us to it.

Ugh - as soon as I saw garçon I knew it would be for too much money. Don't mind him on the roster, but I mind the size of the contract.

$21.5. guaranteed for Garcon, wtf...

Wonder if the skins watched any tape on him and realized he was really only effective on routes behind the LOS in which he can use his running ability to gain yards. More of a Devin Hester type WR IMO. I think Peyton made him a lot of money in this case.

Also, he is usually amongst the league leaders in false start penalties for a WR.

The Skins must be banking on what he did last season considering the QB situation he dealt with - thinking he is still improving and might be number 1 material. He put up numbers comparable to what Fitzgerald did when the Cards ran with Skelton a couple years ago.
