The Milk Ring ..

You know ... the ring under the cap, that breaks off the cap when you first open it.

What do you do with it ?

This one ...

Really ?

You've got skillz.

If I don't hold it with my thumb, eventually (over the years) one of 'em is gonna fall into whatever I'm pouring.

We have the ones that you tear off to open the milk. Haven't seen a ring like that in a few years.

Whose hand is that in the picture?

I leave it on unless it is an unruly one which does happen on occasion.

No idea. I googled "milk ring", and it was the first pic that popped up (after a bunch of cats playing with them).

I voted before I saw the picture.. I thought you were talking about the little plastic things inside a lot of half gallon containers these days. I throw that away for sure. The other ring? I have never had a problem with one of those. They're either the tearaway kind or they stay put with no issue and I just leave em be.

Dola: Also, I would be somewhat suspicious if any of those rings on my milk was large enough to slip off the jug without being cut off. It would mean the milk could have been opened prior to my purchasing it.

I see the problem, you are keeping those gallons of milk for WAY too long...
