AI

Is there any way to make the AI play more realistically in SP?
I enjoyed the learning and that it did not just bowl me over as I learned the game, but now have a good handle on it, and watching AI go for it on 4th and 13 from their own 5 yd line, down by 4 points with 3:30 to play is probably highly unlikely...throwing a 3 yd pass in that situation even moreso lol.

Their 3rd and 4th down logic across the board seems off now, as almost never does the AI run pass patterns actually long enough to convert without YAC luck...and the decision to go for it or not is seemingly random...the above example was the most recent while I have watched in another game down by 6 and choosing to punt from midfield at the two minute warning.

Is there an option to strengthen the AI, or are some AI coaches just super gamblers?

What you see is what you get. Sometimes they make terrible late game decisions- either too aggressive or not aggressive enough.

Then again, the same could be said about some NFL coaches, even those who have won Super Bowls.

You can modify your own team's settings for "go to clock draining mode" and "run hurry up offense" on the gameplan adjustments screen.
