What Does This Mean?

My wife saw a sign outside our neighbor's house on a sandwich board, with an arrow pointing to the house, and there's a bunch of people there tonight. the symbol is a square with a circle intersecting the lower right corner. Any ideas what this means?

It's just a home-painted sandwich board. I assume some sort of group or organization having a meeting, but I've never seen this logo before.

A little bit brazen if you ask me, normally folks just put up one of those decorative "flags" on the porch. Its a bit like an underground railroad symbol for safe house. There, perhaps Ive said too much.

Nothing to see here, move along.

I have no idea what it is either, I just created that in paint. I did a Google Image search and it doesn't know what it is either.

My wife just found the answer.

Apparently the neighbors were having a square dance, in their house? Wel, that's something.

Yeah, nobody holds a square dance at their house, definite cover for a secret sex party. Easy way to get someone you don't want there to not so by during it if they happen to find out you're going a party.

"Yeah, you should totally come by for square dancing this Friday."
"Oh, yeah, Friday. I'm actually busy then, just remembered I have a family event to go to, sorry I can't make it."

We were really rooting against the secret sex club thing, though that was my wife's first guess (is this a hint?) because the neighbors are very old and unattractive. So I'm glad I don't have to picture that anymore.

But you're right, a square dance would make a perfect cover. No walk-ins. It's like how we used to tell the kids we lived with we had made onion pie every time we made cheesecake.
