Our starting QB, Gilmore, had a rough start with an early pick but he got it going and we had almost 250 yards passing by midway through the 2nd quarter when he left the game with a sore back. Kyle Davis stepped right in and got the offense playing at a higher level as we took a 52-0 lead into halftime. Our offense had almost 700 yards of offense to 100 for them before a busted coverage blew the shut out. Still, we demolished the 0-9 Fresno State team as Kyle Davis has now created a real QB controversy among the USC fans.

Also, of note Jimmy Stewart is back from his injury and played both ways tonight but he failed to find the endzone despite a few close calls.

Still, he had a nice return with 6 catches for 72 yards including a long of 28. He also had 10 punt returns for almost 200 yards and played shut down defense.

We took down A&M 70-21. I am still not pleased with our defense, they can't seem to dominate anyone and we seem to have to rely on turnovers forced or sacks in order to get stops. Offensively, we're a well oiled machine though. Junior speedster WR Adkins had 129 yards and 3 scores and QB Lewis threw for 347 and 4. KR David Hall had his 4th return TD of the year as well, and is having a hell of a season in that regard. It probably helps that we give up so damn many points.

Washington moved the ball very well against us, particularly with their dangerous running back but we stopped them almost every time in the redzone. Gilmore had a huge game and Stewart also had an impressive game with a kickoff for a TD, a receiving TD, several passes defended, and a fumble recovery on defense. The offense has come together really nicely and I can't wait to see what we do next game.

Edit to add: We had a star prospect at DT at the game and he must have been impressed with the team's 12 sacks

Very close game with Wisconsin, we went down to the end.

We ended up squeaking out the win with our 3rd String QB scrambling it into the end zone with 18 seconds left in the game to take a 4 point lead.

BUT, this is the last game I will be able to play until I am moved in, set up and ready to go within the next 2 weeks.!

Stomped Nebraska with a surprising good defensive performance. Coverage unit and pass rush were both on point this week. Lots of big plays on the ground for the offense.

We've all had these games.
Opening kickoff and you instantly know the CPU is out to get you.
Battled through.
2 fumbles.
3 INTs...2 of which were WR bobbles, 1 was a poor decision.
Starting QB knocked out.

Still I took the lead 21-17 with 34 seconds to go.
Even got it to 3rd and 37.

Dollar Defense Cover 4 wasnt enough as the WR caught ti, shucked 4 would be tacklers off and walked into the endzone.

#5 FAU falls to #10 SC 24-21.

Time for

We played a terrible game at OSU. It was one of those games CU talked about where it seemed like the game was out to get me, and I was helping it out with dumb decisions. We managed to stay close and force some turnovers in the 4th that lead to scores. We won by a comfortable margin, but it wasn't a comfortable game. I need to play better than I did today.

We had some issues with our starting QB getting knocked out after an electric start (5 of 5 for almost 100 yards) and then our second string QB, Davis, also getting knocked out. Fortunately, he was able to come back and he had a perfect first half. In the 2nd half, we had 4 turnovers and the game was actually interesting midway through the 3rd with only a 28-12 margin, but our offense finally started holding onto the ball and was unstoppable after that happened. Electric freshman Jimmy Stewart had 2 receiving TD's and almost 100 yards along with 2 passes defensed and a tackle as we cruised to a 56-12 win over Oregon.

We are all set to advance

A good game indeed. Exchanging blows right down to the end, and spilling over into overtime for the finish and a hotly contested win, 62-55.

EDIT: Wait a minute..

I exited out of my game and the game told me changes had been made to the dynasty, i said ok.. I reloaded, now I have to play Texas again.

We ended up winning the second game 77-28 and putting up an extra 200 yards of offense in it, so I guess I don't mind having the rematch.

Except for 1 long pass that set up a TD, we dominated Boise State in every area of the game. We took a 70-7 lead by the end of the 3rd quarter and that was the final score as I called off the dogs in the 4th. Gilmore had almost 300 yards of passing, 4 passing TD's, over 125 yards rushing and 3 rushing TD's before he hit the bench in the 4th. Jimmy Stewart had an interception, a few passes defended, a tackle, a 64 yard punt return for a TD, and several nice catches although he couldn't find the endzone on any of those today. Sophomore Sam Culver has quietly become our most reliable receiving target out of the WR's.
