Kind of lost in all of our covid discussion is how happy I am to still have this place & this group of people & friends to talk with. I personally don't really belong to any other online forums these days and appreciate having so many longtime personalities & routines here, which serves as significant comfort. It's also been a treat to see a couple absent old-timers pop-in recent days! I hope that continues.

Agree. I know there are strong differences on this board but overall it's a great community and I've learned a lot.

I have 2 friends that I text with alot, especially with whats happening. We have kids in the same class, girl scout troop, etc...last few weeks obviously the prevailing topic has been the virus. One of them commented that I seem to really be on top of it and where do I get my info. I declined to tell her.

Agree. This is the only forum I visit almost daily. I appreciate seeing the different points of view expressed here in a mostly respectful manner. All of the points of view may not be popular, but they are still discussed with some thought behind them.

Hard to find that online.

Cripes, just look at the "join dates" for most of us. We've been here longer than our kids are old. We've been members of FOFC longer in our lives than we haven't been.
