Turd Ferguson has been pretty consistent for me so far this season, and continues to climb in the points. If he can keep running well, I think he has a good shot at a championship.
Dean Houston Jr. just continues to struggle on the bigger tracks though. Short track racing is his specialty though, so I guess its to be expected

At Daytona Elvis Boris proved to have the most dominant car before a crash knocked him out. Today at Talledega he proved to have the most dominant superspeedway car on the circuit. At the line with two laps to go Boris found himself in 12th place, stuck on the outside line in a 14 car group. Somehow Boris worked his way to the bottom line and began picking off car after car. At the white flag had moved up to 4th. Coming down the backstretch and into turn 3 on the final lap Boris went underneath J.P. Provo to take the lead and held off the rest of the cars for the win. 1st and 2nd in points Stroker Ace and Chris Snow had tough days finishing 25th and 22nd. 3rd place Robbie DeWeerd finished 39th while 4th place Nick Phillips gained quite a bit on those three with a 6th place finish. 5th place William Paige had a good points day by finishing 8th. Nick Phillips takes over the points lead as Stroker Ace drops to 2nd. Chris Snow is 3rd, William Paige 4th and Robbie DeWeerd 5th. Turd Ferguson is 6th followed by Daniel Schoonover in 7th who has moved
up from 29th place only three races ago. Sterling Silvers finds himself 8th, Jace Hunter 9th and Kyle Kappe rounds out the top ten. PHP Code:

Must have had some sort of issues to finish 12 laps back on the most recent race.
That said, to claw back into the top 10 after the start of the season, I'm pretty happy with the results for Sterling Silvers. SI

Well this season has certainly gone to hell in a handbasket for Double Tap Racing. Let's hope that the debut of the new team logo will help to spark King and Tolliver to a strong second-half:

Nice finish for Dean Houston Jr. Even though he considers the super speedway to be his worst type of event, he really came through. Ferguson has slipped a bit, but I expect both drivers to have a strong finish at Dover.

Didn't even realize this had started. Was very happy to see FC Racing take the checkered at Daytona, but we have done nothing since.
Very disappointing season so far with a combined 6 DNF's between my two drivers.

AAA 400 - Dover
Complete domination today from J.P. Provo. He started on the pole and only relinquished the lead during green flag pit stops and quickly regained it following those stops. Points leader Nick Phillips had a great points day, finishing 3rd while Stroker Ace finished 17th, Chris Snow 31st after a crash. William Paige finished 28th. PHP Code:

We knew we wouldn't fare well in Bristol. A 20th place for Luke is alright, but another poor showing for the General Lee seems to be par for the course.

The race at the Glen was dominated early by Eric Anderson before bad pit stops ruined his day. Late it looked like Elliott Foley would take the win before Robbie DeWeerd overtook him with 6 laps left to take the win. Title contenders Nick Phillips and Chris Snow finished 6th and 7th,

9 Races to go, sitting solidly in 4th place. If not for a lot of OTHER PEOPLES wrecks I'd probably be leading this thing =) Ahh well, for an old-timer coming out of retirement this has been a fantastic season so far and we're still in the hunt for another title!

The Brickyard turned into a wreckfest today as onl half of the field was left at the end of the day. Many different drivers led throughout including points leader Nick Phillips who led the most with 37.
But for the final 19 laps it was Ken Schoonover, who came into Indy dead last in points, who led the race and took the win. Duke McWerter came in 2nd followed by Turd Ferguson, Ron Towers, and Nick Phillips. Phillips had another great points day as fellow title contenders DeWeerd, Ace, Snow, and Paige all finished 17th or worse. PHP Code:

After a great start to his first season Rookie Robbie DeWeerd along with friend and team mate Jack meehoff have been picked up by P.U.R.E Motorsports. Lets see if Robbie can have a few less DNF's then maybe he will start his career off with a championship.
