$11 pokerstars rebuy.. crazy hour

I have $51,156 in chips and am the tourney chipleader after the rebuy period is over. It's hours and hours and hours away from any sort of money but I've never seen a run like this at all. I only rebought once(to 3K in chips) and with this many chips will not add on. My first table was nuts, I went all in w/ AA and got 3 callers. I lost of course. Later on I hit a set with pocket 3s and went all in. Got 3 callers. Won. Had 20K in chips after another smaller all in.

Got moved to a new table. First hand a guy w/ 15K goes all in. I have QQ. I call. He has JJ, I win, up to 40K. I drop a bit then make my bad call for the night. A445 board, I have A3. Chick is all in for 10K. She had been playing like a maniac the last 5 or 6 hands, so I thought she was chp dumping to get out of the tourney. So I call. If I lose, I still have over 20K and am in the top 20. She has Q4 for trips. I hit a deuce for my inside straight on the river, up to 50K. Whee.

There was a two plus two thread that was a contest to see who could last longer in the tournament. One guy has already busted and another has invested $110 and only has 3,000 in chips to show for it.

Anyway, I got some programming work to get done but I can porbably watch later on if you two are still around.

My stack had fallen to below average, and I got the exact play I wanted here... heads up against a big stack where i had a major advantage. I knew I was doomed when the first king hit, because I exit all these tournaments on back-breaking hands. Oh well, at least i won't be exhausted in the morning... bed time!

I have 39K in chips after 2 hours. 33rd out of 440. I dropped from 50K to 40K with a flush over flush hand, dropped as low as 30K and built back up to almost 40K befoer the break. This is a very very active table. 4 guys could seriously hurt me despite how well I'm sitting now, and I'm only running 2nd at my table. Guy to my right has 60K in chips, I've seen him go all in for like 35K pre-flop with 100/200 blinds and a 600 raise w/ AK, he's doing well but a bit crazy

Seriously Radii, I'm not going to feel bad for you if you only manage to win $1000 this time.

hanging in there. up to 47K after a couple of nice pots. 39th out of 304 after 2 1/2 hours. About 45 minutes from the money? I forget... 45 minutes or an hour and a half, I can't remember how long it usually takes.

I'm pretty sure 30-45 minutes to the money despite still needing almost 200 to bust out. blinds going to 600/1200 then 1000/2000 I think, this is where the jumps get huge.

Very nice break. If someone had an ace he was screwed.

1000/2000 in 4 minutes, i need some cards this next level to give myself a good shot here. This is an agressive table, hard to find spots to steal or build chips without a big hand.

That was a terrible fold. He was getting great pot odds. He had some strength to raise UTG.

So why would he not get all his chips on the flop or turn if he had a set of kings?

because he knew he could get my chips when half the table limped and I joined in the SB and flopped 2nd pair. :P double up or going home in the next 15 minutes almost certainly.

Was that a chance to double up or a bluff?

what do you do w/ a short stack, with 44 in the big blind, vs an UTG raiser who will almost certainly call my all in? I guess I should have pushed there and hoped for a coin flip but with a raise from that early I feared an overpair too much and felt I had 0 fold equity.

Q9 vs QQ, after AJ vs AA. I was running too low to wait and let the blinds hit, just ran into big ones each time I made those moves.
